Happy Donut

Hole in the wall, mom and pop donut shop. Visiting SF from New York, glad to see lots of decent donut shops and not a Dunkin in sight. The run down look of this place may turn away some tourist. But it shouldn't. The donuts are made in house and are fresh. Coffee is decent. I sat at the table to eat my doughnuts and saw several people come in who appeared to be regulars. They grabbed a quick pastry and a coffee and walked out the door. Would definitely return. Cash only.

I tried the chocolate donut, and it was decent. The flavor was a bit bland, and it could have been fresher. The icing was too thick and overpowering. The dough was a bit dense. Overall, it was just okay, not amazing.

Cute small take out spot. Just got a couple donuts and it was just what I was craving.

Walked down from our hotel on Powell - amazing donuts, delicious breakfast sandwiches, great service. Really reasonable prices, too. There are a few seats but it's a bit cramped if it's busy - really a take-out only type place.

Always get great service at the locations I've visited in San Francisco. The staff is always helpful . Food is always consistent. Donuts are always and the breakfast sandwiches are filling. This location is somewhat a hole in the wall. But don't judge it by the looks.

So so yummy and such a sweet family. So happy we went here. Very nice for grab and go.

Delicious donuts. And a large variety. I was surprised that the Maple bar was filled with vanilla cream. Make sure you have cash. They do take Venmo.

The location isn't pretty but the donuts that they sell are great. Fresh and delicious. Very shortly after I walked in and started checking out the display of available items I was able to place my order. No wait no fuss. I took the glazed donuts back to the hotel room to savor over a hot coffee.

A great neighborhood donut pastry shop. The nice ladies are very helpful and the baked goods and teas and coffees are delicious. Highly recommended
