Decided to come here and grab lunch in between classes. Ordering is easy - you use a tablet at the front. I ordered a charbroiled pork bahn mi. The meat was really flavorful but it was mostly bread. Wish there were more ingredients stuffed inside.

Ordering was quick and service was fast, but the food was not correct.First, we ordered two THAI TEA's and they gave us viet iced coffees instead. Then, we ordered #41 a combo noodle bowl (fried imperial roll & five spice chicken) which is also dissappointing since it was such a small piece of chicken. While I understand they were 45 minutes from closing, it is unfair that our order was incorrect and proportions were not made well.

Food is decently priced, the phō was decent enough, nothing too noteworthy other than the ratio of meat to noodlesService takes a while but not too long, order comes on time

I recently went to this pop up spot on Friday at lunch, and I ordered the chicken pho. The chicken itself tasted and smelled kind of weird, so I just resorted to eating the noodles and drinking the broth. Fast forward 24 hours later, I am dealt with food poisoning-like symptoms. Lesson learned. Even though I avoided 99% of the actual meat, I still felt sick. And I am still sick a couple days later.I encourage this establishment to please evaluate their supply, read Yelp, and ensure that the quality of their food is up to health code and standards before anyone else gets sick!

Use to come here daily back when I still attended school at SFSU. Located directly outside in the quad area outside of the Caesar Chavez Student Center, it is sandwiched between Quickly's and a Mediterranean place. Being that it is on campus, prices are fairly affordable. However the quantity you get and the taste of the food is just average. I typically alternate between the banh mi and the pho. If you are getting a banh mi, make sure to ask for a stamp card. They didn't even offer me one until probably the 5th time I went to buy a banh mi and they started to recognize my face. And while the pho is decent, I'm not a fan of the paper bowls that it comes in as the bowl is piping hot and difficult to carry. There is usually a line here, especially during the lunchtime rush. And wait times typically last 10-15mins+ so make sure you are not in a hurry to get to your next class. Service usually ranges anywhere from being ignored, to actually receiving a thank you because they recognize you from seeing your face for 5 consecutive days throughout the week.

Not the best, but not the worst. I was craving banh mi really bad and didn't want to bus to Irving or the Tenderloin. They claim that their credit card machine takes a long time, probably because they want cash, but the machine works perfectly fine. Would come back to try the pho, although I'm not too fond of the container it's in.

Craving Vietnamese food on campus?? Come to Ha Tien Cove!! :) Sandwiched right in between quickly and Shah's halal food, this place is quite popular! My go-to order that never disappoints: Charbroiled pork banh mi w/ Thai iced tea! I like the banh mi here because the bread isn't too hard like other banh mi at other places. It's also warm when it comes out!! The portion is enough to fill me up and it's not too small for the price (~$5). The most satisfying thing to me about my go-to order is the charbroiled pork. The pork tastes delicious every. single. time. Only downside is that the wait can be about 10ish minutes or so depending on the number of orders, but it's definitely fresh food made to order. Definitely recommend trying this place if you haven't!

Not bad, the Banh Mi is actually good, and not pricey, I think it is fair.I asked for extras in my sandwich and got them in my sandwich with no extra charge, very nice of them.I will probably be back to try other stuff on the menu.

I really like this spot specifically for their mixed vegetable noodle soup (in a chicken broth). The service is good, not great- it is on a college campus so it's not going to be spectacular. Service time is so-so; perhaps it's because of what I get but I usually come expecting a wait so I'm okay with that. It's not a ridiculously long wait anyway, and my soup is definitely worth it. I've also tried their charbroiled shrimp rice plate and that was pretty decent. Overall, I do like this place a lot.
