10/10 would recommend catering food from this restaurant! The food is great & catering experience was super smooth and easy. It was extremely easy to order catered dim sum. On their website, I entered a form where they asked for our budget. From there, they provided a list of items that would match a budget and then we paid for it. They brought it over and set everything up for us nicely. It came with utensils, sauces, and food items were neatly organized. The price was also unbeatable. I ended up to be $10-$15 per person.

My boyfriend and I shared the Wonton Soup, Crispy Pork Belly, and the Specialty Plate, which included Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, and a Vegetable Egg Roll. Unfortunately, the food was just average. Despite being the only customers there, the waiter only came to our table to serve the dishes and never checked in on us.I've definitely had better Chinese food elsewhere. On the bright side, the prices here are lower compared to other spots--but that might reflect the quality you're getting. One major downside was the number of flies around us. We spent the whole meal swatting them away from our food, which made the experience less enjoyable.

Grant Place Restaurant has the best Chinese food in Chinatown, hands down! This is my second time visiting, and it's quickly becoming my go-to spot whenever I'm in San Francisco. This time, we ordered sweet-and-sour chicken, Kung Pao chicken, broccolini, and pork fried rice. Everything was piping hot, super fresh, and absolutely delicious! While the customer service was just OK, the quality of the food more than made up for it. Every time I visit, I try something new from their extensive menu, and I've never been disappointed. The only downside is parking. it's Chinatown, so it can be a bit rough. But honestly, the food is worth it. If you're looking for authentic and flavorful Chinese cuisine, this is the place to be! Our total was about $75 bucks with couple sodas. We chose to sit outside to people watch and we enjoyed ourselves

"China town eatery offering fresh roast duck and dim sum" A lot of chinese restaurants and I have trouble choosing where to go since I am not familiar with the place. Perfect timing since a lady handed us a flyer of a chinese restaurant and mentioned their ducks and dimsum. Plenty of seats inside the area, good for groups, twos or even alone. I ordered the first two I saw in the menu: Roast duck over rice with fresh greens, Wonton soup, and sesame balls. The Wonton soup has so much noodles. There's free hot tea and iced water. There's also one bathroom inside for customer's use.

This review is for takeout through DoorDash.Food is good and prices are reasonable. Its not the best I've ever had, but good for a quick lunch.Dim sum of shrimp dumplings and siu mai were great. Braised tofu over rice was good with plenty of mushrooms.Would order again.

Picked up goodies for home and (I think her name is) Elaine gave me free samples while waiting for the food. First she introduced this fried sticky ball with ground meat in it. She encouraged me by saying it is really good. I've never had it before and oh it was yummy that I ordered two sets. She gave me a slice of crispy pork after a customer bought a slab. Then as I was walking out she gave me a sesame ball. She told me not to make myself hungry waiting for my son who was taking his SAT that morning a few blocks away. Their pork buns one of our favorites. I ordered the usual dim sum items and congee. It was truly a special visit. The place was super busy but orderly. Every customer said good bye to her. My family and I have been going here for years and we've always had a friendly experience but this was truly special. Thank you!

It was good dim sum in a very small restaurant. The employees were very busy rushing from table to table with little streamer baskets and the food was hot and prompt. We did order three different shrimp dumplings and they all tasted different and even the shrimp had different textures to it. All very good food and perfect size for dim sum They never asked if we wanted more food after the initial order, or offered soy sauce or more tea to us. They also didn't inform us that something we had ordered was unavailable until we saw no on the check. Over all it was good, but I would not specifically go to them again.

Stopped by for lunch and since we had the dogs with us, we were able to grab a table on the outdoor parklet. We got seated right away but trying to order took awhile. I ended up having to walk into the restaurant to find someone to take our order. Once we ordered, the food took about 15-20 minutes to come out. We ordered shrimp dumplings, pork siu mai, potstickers and spicy green beans and a can of coke. All of that totaled to around $40. The dim sum items were ok but nothing stand out and quite small size. The potstickers were deep fried and the filling didn't have much flavor. The spicy green beans were the best dish we had. Overall, it was ok.

So Chinatown was our first stop the day we arrived in San Francisco. I had no restaurant in mind specifically because they all seem the same in this area, so we chose this place. This place was busier than the others around and figured that was a good sign. We were helped immediately and sat outside. We started off with our tea and ordered our food. The food didn't take long at all, and it all tasted really fresh and yummy. I wouldn't say this was the best tasting food, but it was fresh and big in portion. I liked the set up of this restaurant because you can see their meats and I felt like that was an authentic touch . The only downside was I ended up feeling really sick the rest of the day, my stomach was throbbing which was SO WEIRD TO ME! I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital if it didn't stop.
