Quality/Quantity - Got $32 of random dim sum, see pictures. All of which was good. They have a slightly smaller selection than their competitors, but still happy. See the same pictures. lol.Atmosphere - Take-out only. They used to have seating, but as you can see from the picture, they are all gone now.Open 7 days a week from 7am to 6:30pm.Street parking, I walked today in the rain again as my wife took the car.Service - 5 stars. No problem ordering. Went smooth, short, and quick.Price - I think she gave me a discount. She did all this math, then said just $32 even.So if I got a discount, thank you. Maybe the prices also include tax...?Owner Comment - Thanks for always being there.

Fall back if Good Luck is closed.Har gow: like the tinnier wrapper. The filling is ok, less flavorful than GL.

good tasty cheap (nothing is cheap in San Francisco anymore) dim sum, and the lady behind the counter is just so lovely. that is more than enough reason to drive my lazy butt here just for their dim sums instead of going to my neighborhood dim sum places. Cash only and small menu but to me that is better when you can focus on the dishes you do have. my dad had dim sum take out places until he retired so I grew up eating dim sums. all dim sums good size portion and filling. $7 large vegetarian chow mein is filled like a mountain until nice lady has to smash the lid down to close it. $4 for small. Their shrimp dumpling is fat and plump, a must get there. They no longer do sit down, only take out now since pandemic. cash only and opens up early. their porridge isn't available until later in the morning. everytime I go at first opening, it isn't ready yet.

When in San Francisco, you can't NOT stop by one of the infinite number of to-go dim sum shops throughout the city. I was in the Richmond area and craving some dim sum. Not sure if there was some dim sum conference going on but...Gourmet Dim Sum and Cafe was the only place open on a Monday early afternoon out of the many within a few blocks! There was a line going slightly out the door (small space) of people waiting to order who I think also came here since nothing else was open. You could tell that this was a local favorite with both the worker and people waiting in line being familiar with each other. Inside, it's pretty standard fare--no place to sit down as it's really just to-go, menu is in print on the wall, and plenty of food to "eat with your eyes!" in big warmers/steamers.For those who have a bit of order anxiety or don't like to be picky, here's a protip: you don't have to order an entire order of a specific item if you want less. You can just ask for 1-2 pieces at a fraction of the price. Usually orders came with 3 pieces of any given item. I got 2 orders of Shumai, an order of Har Gow, 1 piece of turnip cake, and 1 single BBQ pork bun (steamed--looks like they don't have the baked ones here on the menu). Unfortunately they were out of the shrimp rice rolls which in my opinion are a must at dim-sum! Maybe next time.Overall, everything tasted great and fresh which often can be a problem at to-go Dim Sum places if things have been sitting in the warming trays for too long. The Shumai, which I feel is often the most hit-and-miss at any dim sum, was juicy, well-balanced with lots of ingredients, and well proportioned.Everything was only ~$13 and was packaged nicely and neatly--a great price in today's post-COVID-19 prices. This was certainly more than enough food for one person. Thankfully the Presidio park areas are nearby in walking distance. You can sit down to have a nice little meal outside and then walk it off in the park after which I definitely needed!FYI, if you're not used to getting dim sum to go: don't come here expecting staff to wait an arm and leg on you, an expectation which is sometimes reflected in the reviews for these places for those who are a little more picky about these things. Know what's in these dishes ahead of time like everyone else in line so you know what you want and expect there to be some limited communication if you're going to speak English. The workers were super nice here, but please just know what to expect on a busy day if you've never come to this type of place (this is true for any to-go dim sum places in San Francisco). Personally I love this type of ambience inside as it feels like home.Do note that it is cash only!Definitely would come back here for a quick meal!

Solid grab and go dim sum. Their siu mai is some of the best - big, juicy, with great flavor. I usually get the har gow and the ones with chives as well. Their turnip cake is delicious too. They have the ham siu gok filling in the translucent wrappers which is so tasty. This box totaled around $21. Bring cash! There's sometimes a line but it moves quickly.

In my opinion Gourmet Dim Sum and Cafe is a great option and my preferred choice on Clement for Dim Sum takeout. The food is fresh, the pace less hurried, and the counter staff pleasant ( using the Chinese service scale) I opted for some Rice Noodle Roll , but I can easily recommend the sesame seed balls, dumplings, sui mi, and buns. The space is very basic , but you're coming here for the food not the ambiance.

Good, fast, cheap dim sum on Clement. Usually our preferred spot if we are just getting the classics. It's a super small shop, with little to no indoor seating at the moment. The har gow and siu mai are always so tender and delicious. They are not open too late, and bring cash, of course.

Horrible service. Horrible service. Won't come here anymore. The older woman that works here is rude, too. She allow this other woman to cut the line. When I told them that's not okay, she said that the other woman was just asking a question which is not true. She then made me repeat my order two times. So I told her that if she was paying attention to me than I wouldn't have to repeat myself. Then the other woman said the F word to me. Just proves my point that they are so rude. I won't buy from business like this. Just lost a customer. And I deleted all my food photos for them because it's not okay to be rude.

It was closed! Why oh why? It has been our go to take out Dim Sum for years. Drove by it last week, and there was a graffiti covered wall in front of it. Does anyone know if it's going to re-open?

Dim sum and baos are fresh and people are lining up for them. Service is fast & efficient. Their items are limited so makes pointing to them easier to order since my server spoke minimal English. This place actually accepts cards but minimal $20. Order food and take-out.
