GoodFella's Pizzeria & Grill

This pizza was great! I got a 4 cheese medium pizza to share with my parents and it was very very cheesy. The service was nice, the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The menu was very pretty and they had lots of options. If you're vegetarian, they also have a margharita pizza and a veggie pizza, which I would like to try in the future. I can see why this place is well known. Their pizza is very good and you can tell that they make it with love. I hope to come back here again when I'm back in SF and want a nice pizza. They sell slices as well and they have a good amount of seating inside. I definitely recommend it to any pizza lovers.

Solid pizza spot in North Beach, plenty of seating. Easy to build your own or order half and half - we got the Mediterranean and BBQ chicken. BBQ sauce wasn't on it but was very cheesy and piping hot fresh! Also tried Peroni for the first time which was a delight.

GoodFella's Pizzeria & Grill: A Slice of New York in San FranciscoI've lived in this neighborhood for years but never tried GoodFella's Pizzeria & Grill's Pizza until last week. As a former New Yorker, I'm a pizza snob. I think a New York-style slice of pizza is the only style that's worth talking about. Don't get me wrong, I do eat and enjoy the thick Chicago slices, too, but what I can't stand are those amateurish slices that are just saggy and floppy and taste like someone spread two spoons of tomato sauce out of a can on white bread, put a slice of craft cheese on it, and stuck it in the oven!So, what is a New York-style pizza?New York-style pizza is made with a hand-tossed thin crust, cut and sold in wide slices to go. The crust is thin and soft except around the edges, which are thick and crisp and can be folded in half to eat. The toppings are tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese; that's it!GoodFella's makes a wonderful New York-style pizza. The place is a bit of a hidden gem, tucked away in the middle of a busy block on Bay Street. But once you step inside, you'll be glad you found it. The walls are covered with photos and other memorabilia, and the fellas behind the counter are as nice as can be.I ordered a slice of plain cheese pizza, which was everything I could have hoped for. The crust was thin and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The sauce was tangy and flavorful, and the cheese was melted and gooey. It was the perfect pizza.I also noticed that GoodFella's has a large menu with various other choices, including appetizers, salads, and pastas. But I'm already hooked on the pizza, so I'll have to try those other things next time.If you're looking for a delicious slice of New York-style pizza, I highly recommend GoodFella's Pizzeria & Grill. It's the best pizza I've had since I left the Big Apple.

Came in clutch when we showed up late in San Francisco it was so good we even ate there for lunch the next day thanks again for the great service and food

Just what I needed & when we needed it. Typical pizza place decor that makes you feel like many others where they serve great pizza. Very reasonable price for dinner & beers. The thin crust was what we tried & it was a great choice- crust had the perfect chew & cheese was delicious. Tired from seeing all the sights after long plane ride, I didn't think to take a picture before we dug into it. 5 stars- highly recommend.

Absolutely love Goodfellas! Did you know they sell more than just pizza? They have all sorts of delicious items are their menu (see photos attached). I decided to try out their double cheeseburger for the first time which was loaded with the works and I left so happy. The rest of my family got different types of pizza and we also got fries and mozzarella sticks to share. The vibe inside is like a sports bar but very family oriented with walls filled with Bay Area sports and Goodefellas memorabilia. The customer service is excellent and the staff is VERY nice. There is a lot of parking available on the street out front, which is nice in this busy city. 10/10 would recommend!

Great pizza and they have the best meatball marinara sandwich. I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Being from southern California I've always heard that the Italian food from nor cal was different. Something about northern Italy vs. southern Italy. Well it's true. Different but not necessarily one being better than the other. On a recent trip with my son visiting colleges we stopped at Goodfellas Pizza and I must say that we loved the food there. We got the pepperoni pizza and an order of wings. The ambience felt like being at a grandmas house. The service was fast and on point! A clean well lighted place with delicious Italian.

Go to spot. They got a new joint around the block, nice clean space. Green walls make everything look modern and vibrant with the contrast of the wooden bar. Always a home feel. The food is great, bang for your buck and the staff is always great to work with. One of those hidden spots that no one really knows about until you go. Besides pizza, they have a pretty solid menu with a fair price.

Great pizza and service. I can say that I didn't know what I was getting when I walked into this place while just wandering the area. The pizza hit the spot!
