Glen Park Station

I recently moved to Diamond Heights area in San Francisco. I ran into Glen Park Station while I was looking for a local bar to hang with a friend. This dive bar is chill, friendly, fair priced! They have TVs for sport games and a back patio with dart board game. I did not try any of the food, but they drinks were great.

I'm an emotionally intelligent & particular, feminine woman of color. Visited solo on an early Friday evening.First visit in about four years. I highly recommend this bar. It's the best of old-school San Francisco. Some gratis bar snacks, decent German beer very clean bathroom and personable bar staff and nice patrons. What more could you want?I know phonies and racists when they come across me and I would recommend Glen Park Station to people of all nationalities and genders. Don't write many reviews now, only when necessary. Think pink

Wonderful neighborhood dive bar, plenty of tv's, friendly staff, great ambiance. They have darts and other games in the back.

We went bar hopping and had been wanting to check out Glen Park Station for a few years. We were immediately greeted with a sea of no diversity, but we weren't surprised with it being in Glen Park (lol) It must be a place for regulars because we didn't feel welcome, so we chugged our drinks, downed our shots and ran back to our favorite Ingleside neighborhood.

A local neighborhood bar (the only one) in Glen Park! The bartenders are super awesome and friendly and make an effort to get to know their locals! The drinks are decently priced too! They also have a little arcade/game room in the back and TV's to watch various sports games.

Locally owned and operated! One of the best neighborhood dives in the city that we love to patronize. The new owners are young and did not change much. Really appreciate that part of it...they easily could've changed it to make it upscale and charge more but they kept it the way it was! Low key and reasonably priced!

This is a proper bar. Not a dive or not a hole in the wall but a proper bar. Popped in for a nightcap and the barman was on point. Great service great attitude and a top notch work ethic. Evan made my experience exactly everything I would come to expect from a good quality bar. Top marks

a solid neighborhood bar that isn't the usual overpriced SF swill, but a simple bar with acceptable prices and no frills. usually not too crowded, consistent staff -- this place feels very classic and has very high return value imho.

I saw another review that complained about the bar staff not being friendly to non-regulars. I went here with a group of friends on Sat early evening -- we were all new to Glen Park Station. We were treated just fine! Drinks were good and reasonably priced. They let you bring in outside food (try the taqueria next door!). It was no frills, not crowded, and there was a backroom for a more quiet environment. I will definitely stop again by when I'm back in the area.
