Giuliana’s Just for You Cafe

Giuliana's Just for You Cafe is one of my easiest go-to restaurants near our apartment. First, the service always goes above and beyond what is initially asked for. Every-time I visit, they offer my dog her own bowl of water. One time my dog spilled her bowl of water, and the staff had no hesitation in coming immediately over and cleaning up the spill. The cafe has a very neighborhood vibe, like you're a family friend swinging by in a small town. I mean I suppose I do live in the neighborhood so maybe that's why it feels that way for me, lol. But I even bring my mom and friends from out of town and they feel the same! The food is always exactly what I am looking for in the moment. It is solid, made well, and the pancakes are very fluffy :) I highly recommend Giuliana's Cafe!

3.5/5A cozy diner with SF prices tucked away in the DogpatchI came here for a quick meal and we were pleasantly surprised by the speed of service (and free refills)!I ordered the Charlie scramble which was alright. I wished I had ordered the carnitas omelette after seeing/trying it on my partner's plate (not pictured but it was very tasty). The grits complemented the richness of the scramble well and the cornbread was not too sweet. I don't think I'd come here again if I was specifically craving diner breakfast food but it's a cute and convenient spot!

We ordered the veggie breakfast burrito (California style), the chili scramble, and the beignets. The burrito was very wet and lacked any sort of flavor so I ended up adding a lot of hot sauce. They also forgot to add my fries & sour cream in which made it "California style". The chili scramble was also unimpressive but the home fries were pretty good. The beignets were very big, but a bit dense and lacked a fluffiness to them and we had leftovers. The restaurant is very cute and homey inside like an older diner and the staff are very friendly. Probably wouldn't go again though.

Lovely neighborhood brunch spot. All the servers are quite friendly and the coffee is pretty good. Never had to wait too long for a table either. Food recommendations: the waffle deluxembourg waffle , the shrimp po boy, the fries, the BLAT

Giuliana's Just For You Cafe is a breakfast spot in Dogpatch. Apparently it was called "Just for you cafe" but an employee, Giuliana, bought the cafe after the owners wanted to retire and thus Giuliana's Just For You was born!what i ordered- vinnie benedict: 7/10 || this is a benedict on a creole crab cake on toast/english muffin. the crab cake was delicious and hollandaise sauce was creamy but i just wished there was more of a crisp either on the crab cake or the toast. potatoes were seasoned well but again wish there was more crisp- corn beef hash: 10/10 (rated by friend) || he says its the right amount of potatoes, good portion of beef and worth the money. he ate that shi up. eggs were poached and he enjoyed mixing in the poached eggsi would love to return to try their other offerings and THE BEIGNETS!!! i really wanted to try the beignets but i was just too fullig@stephiesmunchiez

This was our first time back after the closure and the new owners. We grabbed a seat outside since we had our furbaby and ordered. The staff was very friendly and the seating outside was perfect for the weather.3/4 Crab eggs Benedict with fries - crab seems a bit salty for my liking. The fries that came with it was very good. Asked for a side if mayo and they charged $.50! What a surprise... pretty shocked and disappointed with that. I know it's not a huge amount but condiments should be free IMO.5/5 Crispy chicken sandwich - so good. Chicken was fried but very moist in a ciabatta bread. Loved it. 4/5 Beignets - got them three different ways. With powdered sugar, powdered sugar and chocolate drizzle, and cinnamon sugar mix. Chocolate drizzle with powdered sugar was my fave. I think strawberry topping and cream cheese topping could be a nice add to menu options.I wound recommend but can't get over the $.50 charge for mayo. I mean shouldn't it come as a side for my chicken sandwich??!

We have been going to Just for You since it was a 6 seat counter diner on Potrero. Last week arrived 3 minutes after opening following a UCSF appointment. Greeted promptly with our menus, orders taken, and iced tea delivered and refilled by very friendly and efficient servers. 3 parties came in, ordered, ate and left. Still no food after 25 minutes. We ordered eggs and pancakes which should not take extra time. We offered to pay for over tea but servers said no. Was our order lost? No one told us. Our beagle came for breakfast too.I noticed all #1 star reviews have been removed.

Where was the gravy? We asked for gravy instead of hollandaise on the fried chicken Benedict. They put a teaspoons worth. Disappointing. Service was good. Folks were super nice as we entered and left. I like that they offered me to take my last round of coffee to-go. Place is small inside but is big for the beignets. I passed. My plate was pretty good and I especially liked the soft yummy potatoesI'd be willing to try again for lunch instead of breakfast

The food, service and ambiance is on point! I love how their menu is diverse where you can select from American breakfast, chicken and waffles, and Mexican cuisine like chilaquiles. We were craving a traditional breakfast so we had scrambled egg frittata with corn bread and cheesy grits and veggie omelette. So good! Service was excellent and food came fast.Highly recommend.

Tried this place for the first time today and had a great experience! The host was extremely kind and answered all my questions happily. My friend and I decided to try the eggs Benedict, chicken Caesar salad, the chicken parm sandwich, and the three beignets. All were great and i would easily order everything again! I particularly loved the eggs Benedict. I have been searching for a classic eggs Benedict since moving to the city and this one hit the spot. The hollandaise sauce was the perfect amount of tangy and not too lemony which I find is common. Will definitely be coming back!
