This is a no nonsense Chinese bakery with the best pork buns in the city! We started buying pork buns by the dozen years ago for office pot lucks and as gifts for friends who live in Sacramento. At under $1 they were a delicious bargain. It's doubled in price since then but so has everything else. I'm glad they survived covid although hours are reduced. Cash only business Also recommend the green onion buns and custard tarts!

The go to spotfor COCKTAIL BUNS ! if ya don't know, let me tell ya about the cocktail bun. Basically a soft sweet roll with a yummy coconut filling inside. I grew up on these buns! i still enjoy it to this day. lots of places sell and have their own versions of this particular bun, but specifically, this place does it best. full of flavor, super soft and a good size too ( some spots are smaller and pack less filling ). i can down 2 in one sitting with coffee. DELICIOUS and simple. I grew up on these buns from another spot in SF. i came upon this spot luckily by yelping "cocktail buns". Thank you, YELP for another hit and keeper. My go to spot is this place right here.

Best pork buns hands down. My go to for bringing in treats to work. Everyone raves about the bun to pork ratio being the most even ever seen. Love this place!!!

This Geneva Bakery is a very cool which is a small bakery that has some nice baked goodies... And what I like the most at this Geneva Bakery is the wheat bun!!!If you like chinese baked goodies try going to this Geneva Bakery... They have really nice baked goodies!!!

Whenever I'm in the neighborhood I have to stop by here. Before covid times this place was always packed. Now times have changed, it's empty now. BUT the goodies are still good! I came here for bbq pork buns, spam egg buns and that sprinkled shredded pork bun. I managed to get the last 2 coconut buns, but I asked if there were more. I didn't realize it was close to closing time. To my surprise they managed to make me 3 more. Awww they are sooooo nice! I've been a customer for awhile and they are always soo kind.

When I'm Chinatown, I buy my breakfast buns there because it's CHEAPER there.But I can't find FRESH mini hot dog buns for my niece and nephew, so I come here once in a while to buy that. But they're so damn expensive!!! Like triple the damn price!!! A plain pineapple bun in CT now is around $1.10-$1.35 but here, it's gotten to $1.90, and that's for the same size!!!Taste may defer. But I'm really glad this bakery is here when my house runs out of breakfast, it's near by, it's easy parking and service fast. They always have a long line, because their bread is so good! It's really quiet in there, no music, just customers voice when ordering. The ladies are really nice. Always tell me what deals they have so I don't waste money. Even if it's to buy more, but who doesn't love a deal and who doesn't love buns or pastries. I went one time late afternoon, around 30 mins before they close, bought some bread for a trip but I was a $1 and some change short. The young girl working at that time said it's okay. I'm really grateful for that sweet gesture.

Every bread they baked are so small , Ham & egg bread that the ham only less than half inside the bread and egg also only half ! The salty sesame bread is too salty and taste wired ! Their bread price is higher than other bakery on mission or near mission ! Don't like this bakery and not buying bread there again !

Open early = many stars! Fresh pastries at fair prices. Nice people. Good variety. Easy way to please a large crew in the morning. They have the standards. No complaints and lots of smiles when I bring these to work. Cocktail buns and hot dog buns are my usuals.

The still here is just average. It's a bit over price comparing to other Chinese bakeries. And the bread is smaller too. I tried their sponge cake and it was a bit dry too. Cash only btw. So very hard to buy. Service is fast for the money, but slow when they give you the bread.

This place is fantastic. Great local Chinese bakery to get your pineapple bun cravings fulfilled. Delicious!
