First of all, remember that this place is closed on Tuesdays. I love that they have lunch special. The staff is really nice. The lady that works there is so kind and helpful. They cook their food fast so you dont have to wait too long. You can always call ahead. In the back of their restaurant, they have tables and chairs for dine-in. Would recommend this for your daily chinese meals.

I wouldn't say the meal was terrible, but it certainly wasn't impressive. The portions were generous, which was a plus. My date and I ordered the mushu pork, and it came with four wrappers. However, it was a bit heavy on the hoisin sauce, which made it overly sweet and less balanced. As for the Kung Pao Chicken, it looked spicy at first glance, but sadly, it lacked both flavor and the promised spiciness. On the plus side, we were the only customers dining in at the time, so the food arrived quickly. The menu is quite extensive, so I might give another dish a try on a future visit.

OMG, I didn't read my own review! I was in the area, and decided to try this place for a sit down meal before driving home. I was interested to see claypots on the menu. So I ordered:- Combination Claypot- Salt n Pepper Chicken Wings- small white rice.- hot teaOkay, this place has a different concept of a claypot entree, because they served me a huge bowl of soup. For $22.95, it was vegetables and meat in a light broth. I asked the server about this "claypot," and he said it's "their recipe." I was very disappointed to get served this, and don't plan to ever return here. Service- no wait staff. Service provided by manager/owners. I had to ask for the proper dishware, chopsticks, and napkins. Ambiance- dining room looks like the 1980's or earlier. Restroom is ''acceptable" if you really need to go.Free Parking

Total rip off. Ordered the seafood noodles...tell me do you see any seafood in here for $17?I'll answer that for you...no. There was one shrimp at the bottom and two small scallops and one squid. That's it. Total rip off and not worth the 15 minute wait. The lady in front of me picked up her fried rice and unlike me she checked her order and complained, but they didn't want to help her. That should have been a clue for me, but I just picked up my order after waiting and left. They don't care about being honest and just like to rip off people. Skip this place.

My friend told me about the XLB here and i really didn't believe them. You can't tell it's a restaurant if you walk in from the El Camino entrance as it looks like a to-go place. The seats are all actually located in the back of the store and there is an entrance in the back as well on Magnolia Ave. I came here for lunch on a weekday and it was actually packed. I got one of the last tables. I got the XLB, the lunch special with eggplant, chicken and shrimp, the black bean noodles and the snow cabbage and pork rice cake. Everything that came out was so amazing. It was all packed with flavors. The snow cabbage with pork and rice cake along with the XLB are my favorites. Actually, the XLB itself, is the show stopper. I've had many XLB from all over the bay and in asia, and their XLB is the winner! The skin is thin and holds together when you pick it up and the juice and meat was so scrumptious! Best XLB ever! I'm surprise by the service and they came to check on us a few times. Name one mom and pop chinese restuarant that check on you? I was actually suprised by the service as i never expect much from chinese places. I can't wait to come back!

Came here for lunch and the specials were decently priced! I would describe the food as Chinese American (elevated Panda Express) but delicious nonetheless. I ordered the Mapo tofu which had more of a kick than I expected so that was surprisingly good! The service is very friendly and there is a lot of seating around the restaurant. The kitchen is actually in the front and you have to walk past it to get to the tables. If you're looking for a quick bite around lunch time, full house is a solid option.

A quick walk from the hospital to take a break for lunch. Tiny hole in the wall with seating in the back on the Magnolia side versus how small it looks from the plaza side. Ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, general chicken lunch plate and szechwan cold noodle.Salt and pepper chicken wings 3/5: This has a kick ofcurry to it if you like curry but there was not much of a salt or pepper taste to the chicken. Wings were crisp but did not taste like salt and pepper. Maybe better to label it as fried chicken wings.General chicken lunch plate 3/5: Not very spicy, but if you can't make it to your usual fast food chinese restaurant this might do in a pinch. Decently priced for the lunch plate.Szechwan Cold Noodle 4/5: This was the best dish. It was cold and I wonder if it would taste better if it was hot! The cold noodle tasted very fresh, light and clean.

JUST GO TO LAI LAI 4 mins AWAY!!!!!Sooooo this place went a little down hill since I came years ago.. I used to grab lunch from here years ago all the time. But coming back they serve the smallest amount possible.. the chowmein was extremely bland(and they charge extra to substitute) which is fine I make a good money for a reason . BUT like foreal it had ZERO taste. The general chicken was good but still pretty basic. I think it's safe to say for MYSELF I won't be coming back here for lunch. It makes me sad typing this review BUT it is what it issss I mean if you can see the bottom of the box you know you chintzed out

I'm one of many white guys that have married into a Chinese family so this story might hold true for some. The first night they took me to dinner was right out of a Hitchcock movie. As the meal was delivered, I looked down and saw my future mother-in-law with a plate filled with bird's heads. I think Alfred would have even been horrified by what I saw. The point is, I've been married for more than a decade and eaten at my fair share of Chinese restaurants. The Full House cuisine is some of the best I've had in a very long time. If you happen to go on your own and get bored, you can do what I did and try memorizing some of the 200 dishes on the menu. My advice is not to eat alone. From the Taiwanese 3 Cup Chicken to the Sauteed A Choi and Prawns with Snow Peas, I'm surprised this place is not standing room only. The staff is awesome and always accommodating and of course, there's nothing that pairs better with this kind of food than an ice-cold Tsingtao Beer. Here's to good eatin!

Writing this review sitting on the throne which is not a good thing. This is American Chinese, and just okay at that. If I had one word for this other than how my stomach reacted it is bland. Had the Mongolian beef lunch. Special. The soup hot and sour wise pasty, tasted as much like cornstarch as anything. The Mongolian beef had a fair amount of beef as well as a lot of onions but the taste was just off. That is what I think has gotten to my stomach. Deep fried rice is really just steamed rice with some peas and carrots thrown in, cannot tell that it was fried for longer than a couple of seconds if that. Will not be back as there are better choices for lunch in the area.
