Best bar ever! Great people, great vibes. Perfect place to hang out with your friends

We where coming on a walk home and it was the only bar in this neighborhood.I guess that's why it's so highly priced.We came in to this dive bar which we usually like . (Nothing fancy at all"We asked for a glass of Chardonnay which the bartender didn't think they served and then I asked well do you have any white wine? He said yeah but only box wine. One he confirmed it was Chardonnay after going to look at it we said ok we will take it.He served us half of a glass of this and charged us $15 for two half glasses of cheap warm Chardonnay out of a box that we had to ask for ice to chill it up on our own!I will never frequent this place again.Not because he didn't know if he had Chardonnay but because he didn't even care that he was clearly over charging us for warm boxed white wine!!

Friends Bar is an enigma, wrapped in a mystery. Is it a neighborhood dive bar? Yes. Do tourists and other visitors walk in with crazy stories and wonderful perspectives? Yes. Is it cold when its cold out? When its slow, sure. Will the 49ers, Giants, Sharks, and Warriors be on the TV? Absolutely! What makes Friends Bar so great comes down to the fact that the owner, the bartenders, and the regulars actually care about the community and their customers. Want to get tanked and watch some games? Sure. Want to come have a few before you go out downtown? Absolutely.But if what you really want is to find a place where people who care about each other spend their time, then come, and stay awhile.

this is definitely the neighborhood bar, it's small and intimate and feels very locals only. no tourists or even people from too far having a drink here. there's a pool table and a jukebox. the prices are fair and service is pretty quick. clientele is pretty varied which keeps things interesting.

Fantastic local bar with a great vibe. Pool table, foozball, jukebox, bbq plates. What more could you want? Every neighborhood should have one.

Just checked out Friends after moving to the area a couple months ago. Great neighborhood bar with 50c pool and 75c foosball. Drink selection is good and you can even order hot sake here!
