Fresca Garden

Fresca Garden is one of those places that leaves a lasting impression--not just because of the food, but because of the heart behind it. Zad, the owner, runs the place with a quiet kindness that you don't often see.On one visit, I noticed a woman who appeared to be homeless sitting inside. Zad didn't hesitate to treat her like any other customer. He offered her two sodas and a safe place to sit, continuing the gesture of another patron who had earlier bought her a pizza. When I complimented Zad on his generosity, he brushed it off, saying, "We're all brothers and sisters. It's right to do the right thing." He also casually mentioned that he regularly takes 10-14 pizzas out to feed the homeless after work--not as a boast, but as a reminder of the humanity we owe one another.Even beyond the big gestures, Zad's care shines through in the little things. Whether it's extending happy hour prices for someone running late, or ensuring passersby don't slip on spilled water outside (even though it wasn't his responsibility), he's consistently thoughtful.The food here is solid--crispy curly fries, great pizza, and cold beer--but the atmosphere Zad creates is what makes Fresca Garden truly special. If you're in the Metreon, make time to stop by. You'll walk away with a good meal and maybe a little restored faith in humanity.

Fresca Garden offers pizza, salads, and appetizers...fresh and fun...saw the sign outside for pizza and soda...thought the simple invitation was nice...next to Buckhorn and more in the food court...half pizza cut in 3 pieces for $7 or so...food court near the Metreon is fun...always enjoy pizza and salad years ago...sbarro!

We stopped here to grab a bite to eat before we saw Wicked. And let me tell you the pizza was so cheesy and good. They have a deal for $12 bucks where you get a half pepperoni pizza and a draft beer. Where else can you find that in the city. They also have a pretty big menu to. I can't wait to come back.

They charge you a service fee to place your own order at a do-it-yourself kiosk. Pretty much sums it up.

I ordered my order through the kiosk then the man in the front said no I didn't. So I showed him on my phone. He had a very nasty attitude. He even told another person that someone told their Order when they were sitting there the whole time. But with that being said... never coming here again

My wife and I grabbed a quick lunch here while at a nearby convention. The pepperoni pizza was pretty good! $10 for a soda and 2 slices of pizza is a surprisingly good deal here in San Francisco!

I absolutely love Fresca Garden. The pizza is my favorite. All of their food is excellent. Try it at the SF Meteron (where the Target Store is but downstairs).

Omg. What a terrible place. For starters, this place is a joke. The guy at the register is ridiculously weird and rude. That's besides the point. But that may have contributed to the outcome of this horrible place so I'm mentioning it here. We got a side of falafel with humus and a chicken shawarma. Instead of 6, we got 5 tinies falafels I've ever seen in my life and no humus! The taste of them were ok. The chicken shawarma must have been a vegetarian dish as there was basically no meat in it. Unfortunately, for me, the two tiny pieces also fell out as I unwrapped my shawarma so I ate bread! I basically had to beg for ice and napkins! I've never seen anything more sad in my life! STAY AWAY!

As a Vegetarian, finding a good pizza place with tasty options can be a challenge. Fresca garden not only met my expectations but exceeded them. I was surprised to find out they have some 5-6 varieties in vegetarian pizzas which is pretty hard to find. I tried their Veggie Lovers pizza and absolutely loved it. The staff was also very knowledgeable about their menu and helped me pick the pizza after knowing my preferences. From this experience, I'm sure I'll be visiting them again soon with my vegan gang to try other Veggie options.
