The conchas at Florecita are simply the best. I first tried them at West Coast Craft and am so happy to live so close to their physical location; I often wish that they were more open on more weekdays so I could get them more frequently. I really like their seasonal flavors! I love that you can actually taste the flavor pretty strongly. The conchas themselves are SO incredibly well done. They are perfectly fluffy, sweet, soft, airy, and delicous--it's hard to have self-control when eating them. I also think the owners are such incredibly friendly and kind people. I think the only downside is that they are definitely pricier than what you can get from other panaderias (which offer conchas for $1), but I don't mind supporting such a lovely small business. Definitely try them out!

Best conchas in SF, hands down!Founded by Ximena and Jared, Florecita Panadería is a love letter to Mexican baking, offering traditional pastries with a modern twist. They've brought their passion and roots to SF, creating handmade delights that capture the essence of Mexico.I loved their strawberry hibiscus and churro conchas, with impeccable texture, and the pan de muerto totomoxtle was an amazing--topped with burnt corn husk ash, it's a unique nod to Mexican tradition.

I've been searching for a concha that lives up to nostalgic memories of the pan dulce at my Tia's panaderia. This lovely pair of bakers nailed it! The conchas were warm, perfectly chewy, and had a distinct crunch when I bit into them. We got the guava, mango, churro, and blue corn conchas, and I couldn't tell you which one I liked most. They're all so good, I can't wait to return!

I hosted my Conchas & Comunidad event at Florecita Panadería because I am in LOVE with their all natural artisanal pastries. Being a vegetarian, I feel so lucky to have these organic conchas in a variety of flavors freshly baked in San Francisco. The cold brew coffee was a hit too. The owners are the sweetest and I will definitely be back soon!

As a self-proclaimed Concha-sseur, I would absolutely recommend this spot. The conchas are just the right amount of sweet, dense yet fluffy goodness! The dough is so yummy that you could enjoy it without the sugary topping (of course I'll never do that ;). We live in the East Bay and make it a point to stop by every time we're in SF. We've tried many flavors and loved them but churro is my personal favorite. This is NOT your average concha and I would easily put these up there with the best I've tried in Mexico including Mexico City. The service is excellent as the owners (usually the ones working) are delightful and epitomize what a hard-working small business should be. You can sense their 'pride of ownership' immediately. I hope they're around for a long, long time!

I was in the Mission neighborhood walking around when I spotted a charming sign for Florecita Panaderia. Perfect timing: it's 12pm and I am feeling snackish. Following the sandwich board, I walked over to a weird alley between two seemingly residential buildings. There were two bakeries there Christine's and Florecita. I was lucky because this is only open Saturday and Sunday 10-2pm. Glass case displays conchas of five flavors: chocolate, blue corn, churro, strawberry hibiscus, and matcha. $5 each and it's the size of a bbq pork bun from a deli: slightly bigger than your palm. Have you had a pineapple bun, especially from Pineapple King and wondered, why can't there be other flavors? Florecita is fulfilling that craving with these conchas. I got the owner's favorite, blue corn, and was blown away. The pan is super soft and the topping was the perfect crinkly consistency loaded with flavor. The blue corn is not at the forefront, it shows up when you're reveling at the softness of the pan. The flavor tastes like you're eating a great tortilla with the consistency of the a super thin cookie. Man, I wish I had some right now. If you are in the neighborhood or never thought conchas were for you, go get this. What are you waiting for?!

YUMMY!!! Felicidades Ximena y Jared.
