FK Custard Truck

Came upon the custard and churros truck at the East Bay MUD 100th birthday party in Oakland.Perfect way to finish off the weekend. Made my own version of their s'mores bar: dark chocolate covered vanilla custard bar with almonds and a scorched marshmallow. Excellent flavor combo even if I do say so myself. Am now recommending it to all my friends. Def want to try the other flavors.Hope I run into the truck again!

Never too cold for ice cream! They are at Off the Grid on Fridays in SF. Their staff is wonderful! Everyone is so friendly. They have churros, filled churros, hot cocoa, and unique toppings to their ice cream bars! I got the cheesecake shortcake one which was really good! Filled churros were fresh, nice and warm. Can't beat that! Flavors included Dulce de leche or caramel??, chocolate, and custard. My friend enjoyed the s'mores bar. Love how the ice cream doesn't melt too quickly. I was able to snap some pics. Not your average ice cream truck. Think ice cream bars but slightly elevated :)

--Update 1/18--Second time and just as good as the first. I got a matcha white chocolate donut ice cream sandwich and it tasted even better than it sounded. It was so good! The donut compliments the ice cream so well. We were so pleased we went back and got another! Impressed with everything.--Original--Saw people walking around with these chocolate smores bars and OMG so glad I found them. I got the cookie butter custard bar with dark chocolate and smores and it was delicious. Perfectly sweet, not overpowering, the marshmallow was soft and not too chewy and the dark chocolate was so great.

Stumbled upon this gem at a festival, had a dirty chai smore sunday and it was amazing, they even toasted the marshmallows and instead of gram crackers it was cinnamon toast crunch. It was wonderfully sweet with deep spiced elements a great way to end a day.

The FK Custard Truck was at an affair I attended this past weekend. They were a life saver. Although there were other food trucks, this dessert heaven was exactly what was needed. The weather was warm, and the frozen treats were fabulous. There was a large assortment of flavors which appealed to the youngsters and older crowd as well. I only wish they were in the always in our neighborhood. Such a wonderful selection, and the thickness and creaminess were heavenly.
