chicken and rice and veggies for $12 is very affordable for San Francisco lunch. Chicken thigh was very tasty and rice and flavorful too. Grilled kale was delicious. I want to try the other protein options. This food court has really good lunch options and this is my new favorite. I hope the mall gets more tenants and foot traffic.

Rating this on my mom's behalf. Neither of us have any idea what the actual food is like here. Since it's in one of the most mediocre mall food courts ever (and is deteriorating by the year), I'm just flat out assuming that the food is nowhere near as good as what you'd get at an actual Brazilian steakhouse that you would pay top dollar for. But that's not what's getting graded on here anyway. My mom really likes the halo halo here and she can get picky about that dessert at a lot of places we eat at. Looks pretty too. I think it's weird that there's a Filipino section or pop up here but if they give good halo halo at a relatively reasonable $10 price tag (or maybe that's not reasonable if you're broke), then there's nothing to complain about. Except maybe the food. But I don't buy it and don't have plans on ever doing so. Therefore, five stars for the halo halo and nothing else.

Since I work at the mall, they fortunately gave me a discount on my order. Unfortunately, the food itself could've been better. The potatoes was a bit bland. The broccoli was okay.I asked for medium beef, but instead it was well-done. The beef was also really tough and chewy. I could barely finish it.

Nice service , great value for halo halo. Very much filipino, but be warned! Proportions may leave u more than full.

It's a solid four star place. The options are barely acceptable and it seems that everyday the options for the sides somewhat stay the same. The price is alright for what we get and the service is straightforward, nothing too great. I did see from other reviewers that we are offered sauces and I did not. So far my favourite has been the Argentinian sausage. My favourite sides have been the paella and the cheese breads. The kale is okay but a bit too much garlic that it tasted a bit too bitter and sour. In terms of the pork and chicken plate the amount of protein is satisfactory. For a quick lunch and a reasonable price this place seems the place to go. The only thing is that the meat does have a good amount of fat. Also the paella seems to not have much ingredients. Thanks for the feeding me during lunch.

I've really been enjoying this spot. I only give 4 star because i only eat chicken. But i have found it flavorful, hot and decent portion size. If you eat beef for pork i saw them give the people ahead of me what looked like satisfying sizes. The people that work there have been nothing but nice the few times i've gone. Its in the mall so it has food court ambiance, i usually just go home since its on the way. Its like like Brazilian proper? I honestly dont know but i enjoyed the food and dont feel cheated on the size for the price!

Well it hit the spot so it was good. In short, I'd come back again. This is not a Brazilian steak house level of quality, I mean this is at a food court so don't come here expecting that level of quality. I like this place because they have a small Filipino menu which includes popular Filipino dishes like lechon , Bangui, etc. I wanted the lechon but they ran out (I was there around around 6pm) so I got the pork/linguica from the Brazilian menu. The pork was good and even better with their chimichuri sauce. Some parts were dry but overall I enjoyed it. The carrots side, don't sleep on it, it's deceiving - it was good. Not raw crunchy but not overcooked like mushy. It posted with the pork beautifully since the flavor is not over powering. Portion was I even shared it with my 20 year old son. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I don't understand why this has 3 stars cause the food was delicious and affordable!!!Located in the Westfield Food Emporium (food court, really), Fire of Brazil Express wasn't like any other mall food court restaurants there. I initially was looking for grilled food but gave up and went to the Powell Station BART to head to the airport/home. When I got underground, I saw the mall area and thought I'd take a look. There's so many restaurants there! I didn't look any further when I found FoBE!For $10, I got 2 HUGE pieces of chicken and 2 sides: paella rice and fried plantains. WOW!!! I sound like I'm overselling it but it really is that good!! The chicken came out of their broiler and they had the sides out. The chicken skin was light and crispy. All were flavorful! They also gave sauces and I chose chimichurri. They guy that helped me was super nice as well! He took the time to explain what the difference in the menu was.I cannot recommend this enough!!!

Had the chicken, wasnt bad. no Chimicurri sauce... was not told upon order, but after i paid and they were packing the food. check w them first before you order, or just deal. The only thing that really makes this place "Brazillian". is the sauces..

I had the regular pork plate and I liked it very much. It's the first decent pork I had in the US and very well cooked, very tasty. A little less salt on the pork and a choice of three smaller sides would make it perfect. It's a dish you would cook for yourself at home.
