30 mins from walk-in to breakfast bagel in hand, too slow but surprisingly good for the price, especially if craving bacon not offered at Wise, the best bagel shop nearby. For coffee, go w/ can't-mess-ups like drip or café au lait, not the espresso connoisseury drinks

All I've ever ordered here was the ful medames (extra spicy) and coffee. I want to try some of the breakfast menu items, but I keep coming back to the medames because I come here specifically for it. The amazing dish (fava beans cooked, blended and mixed with fragrant middle eastern spices served warm, with some fresh chopped onions, greens, tomatoes and crumbled feta to garnish) is made with nothing less than pure love by the sweet and amazing woman cooking near the front entrance. It's served with a side of warm, crusty whole grain roll for mopping up every delectable morsel. Think of it as a healthier, vegan middle eastern version of chili. It is so simple, yet so delicious and hearty, and soul-satisfying. So good for a nice, healthy lunch and at around 12$, pretty affordable as well. It is also very hard to find on menus here - only a handful of restaurants in the city serve some form of it.Coffee (drip) is also delicious! Can't speak for the espresso yet, but they have a nice looking machine and grind the beans fresh, so definitely gonna try that soon.

Fillmore Street Café is a cozy coffee shop with great food and good coffee. I ordered feta spinach omelette and I could not believe how big and tasty it was! Definitely great value, kind staff and quick and fresh food.

I went here for the first time to get a sausage egg and cheese bagel sandwich. First off, it was so good, although it wasn't a sausage patty, it was sliced sausages. Not gonna lie, that through me for a loop. Second off, the staff are so kind and friendly. You can tell they really know their customers, and have established themselves at this corner. This cafe doesn't have much seating but it's more of a stop and grab a coffee or a sandwich on your way to work vibe. I will be back Fillmore Street Cafe.

I came by to grab a quick bite for lunch and ordered the 'Asmarino' sandwich (chicken and bacon) on a wheat roll. It's a hot sandwich and was delicious with fresh ingredients. It came with a side option (chips, potato salad or macaroni salad) and I got the macaroni salad which was good too. Total cost with a 20oz soda drink came out to about $16 after tax which is very affordable for a quick lunch in SF. Service was great too.I highly recommend coming here and will probably stop by again for lunch more often.
