Since 20% service fee/tip is mandatory, just a few things to say; $38/person minimum 4 includes 1 main dish 1 drink and 2 hrs of singing is a good deal, I have to say. Plus, make sure to order the french fries (yes, we thought it would be so so too, but they added some powder to make it taste so good... )and pop corn chickens are good!!! Few things to keep in mind: - equipments are quite outdated, we have to go in front of the small screen to pick, skip songs, no remote at all (adds to the total time you can sing); -this is usually related to song rights, when you turn the original singing on, the music was fine, once original singing off (so you can sing), the key is messed up, this usually ruins the singing experience; -the only service lady, she's good to manage the place and all communications were the customers are dumb and wrong (we gave up at the end); We won't go back but it's up to you.

I was super disappointed with this place. Despite the pandemic being over for quite some time, they're still charging a 20% "COVID-related" service fee, which feels completely unjustified. The staff went over the karaoke rules, made us sign an agreement, and even required us to leave an ID, which seemed unnecessary and excessive. The worst part was the pricing. It's around $60 per hour, but when we tried to leave after an hour, they told us there's a mandatory two-hour minimum. This was never mentioned to us, and when we pushed back, they insisted we had been informed and pointed to one of several papers on the wall as "proof." It felt dishonest and frustrating. If the karaoke itself had been great, we might have stayed willingly, but it was awful. There was no remote control, so we had to walk up to the screen to select songs every time. Most of the music was pirated YouTube downloads with poor audio quality, full of noise, and completely unplayable--especially the Korean and Japanese songs. Many were remakes to bypass copyright, so they weren't even the original tracks. All in all, it was the worst karaoke experience I've ever had. With the service fee and other charges, we ended up paying $150 for two hours of frustration. Definitely wouldn't recommend and won't be returning.

I had a terrible experience at this karaoke place for my friend's birthday party. First, the reception desk was extremely unprofessional. We called ahead to ask if they had seats and a room for around 10 people. The receptionist asked how long we'd be there, and we told her 2-3 hours. She said it was fine and asked when we could arrive. We told her we'd be there in about 20 minutes. However, when we arrived, she suddenly told us that they hadn't guaranteed a room and that we needed to have paid a deposit in advance. If there was no room available, why tell us to come in the first place? We wouldn't have driven all the way there if we knew! After some back and forth, at least the receptionist realized we had just called 20 minutes ago and finally compromised by providing us a room. While we appreciated the effort, this situation could have been avoided with clearer communication from the start.Second, once we arrived, it was already very late, and the service was awful. There was only one server managing multiple rooms, so we had to go to the front desk ourselves to order everything, which was incredibly inconvenient given that we had over 10 people. The food took an hour to arrive, and by then, some of our friends had to leave without eating.Overall, this was a terrible customer experience. They operate in such an old-fashioned way--no proper reservation system, can't keep their promises, and no online food ordering.

Decent karaoke spot but $$$.I came for karaoke with a couple friends this past Saturday and had a good time here, but I didn't like having to put down a $50 deposit to make the reservation. I've never had to do that at any of the other bay area karaoke spots. After paying the deposit, you have up until 2 days before your reservation to change or cancel the room. I called earlier in the week to book a medium room, and on Thursday (2 days before) I changed it to a small room. The entrance is kind of sketchy. They have a tiny parking lot, and you have to show the employee your text confirmation for the deposit before he'll unlock the door and let you in. I'm guessing it's not the best area? The pricing for the rooms is on their website, but we paid $58/hour for a small room that fits up to 6 people, with a 2 hour minimum. I find that to be very pricy, especially given that this is kind of middle of nowhere in South SF right off the 101.They use the Chinese karaoke system where you have to get up and order songs from the big tablet at one end of the room. Not my favorite, as it requires everyone to manually get up to put songs in. You can order food and drinks (including alcohol) here, but we went to dinner beforehand and only came here for karaoke. You can get water pitchers for free, which I appreciated.

There is a karaoke bar pretty close to SFO. The location is a bit desolate and the parking lot is very tiny but I guess there is probably enough street parking nearby since there's nothing else here. I don't think I would go out of my way to go here since the location is a bit weird but this place was super lively when we went on a Saturday night.I am wondering if this place has issues with security - there is basically a bouncer in the front and the door is locked until they verify your reservation. The rooms were clean. The karaoke machine for the selection is a bit finicky and I had a little difficulty navigating what songs to pick but there is a large catalog. Be careful when picking songs though because some are the live versions which are usually harder to sing IMO. I'm not sure if there was a remote (didn't see one?) but someone has to input all the songs at the screen. They do have songs in other languages though which is nice. The room we had was a bit on the cold side though. I had a jacket on but I really needed a sweater or something underneath. It's a bit uncomfortable singing when you're cold!
