I was unfamiliar with the area and was just looking for a sandwich to go. It took a while, but I stumbled upon Eddy's Food Store. It was a great find. They area under new ownership and they're doing a great job. I was there for a sandwich, but they have various grocery items, liquor, household items, etc. They even have. bitcoin machine. I've never seen one before. If you wanna' see one or buy some bitcoin, you can get it at Eddy's. While I was there several people came in for lotto tickets. Back to the sandwich. I had the Santorini turkey sandwich. $9.99. It was excellent. It was about the same price as a Subway sandwich but way tastier and way better! I loved every bite!They also have started serving breakfast sandwiches. I you're in the area and want a great sandwich, go check out Eddy's! It's always nice to support locally owned small businesses.

This place is a hidden gem! I've passed by many times before but never tried their sandwiches. I ordered the Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Santorini, and Cousin Vinnie all on dutch crunch. They were all delicious and had a good meat to bread ratio with all the fixings, but my favorite was probably the Ed, Edd, and Eddy. Just as good as other popular sandwich places like marina subs but a much better value. The owner was super nice and made the sandwiches to order so it took about 15 minutes but I didn't mind the wait. My only complaint was that the sandwiches that were supposed to have avocado didn't have them. I noticed on my receipt that the owner took a dollar off the total which was nice since there wasn't avocado but I wish I had known. Not too big of a deal though I would still go back.

Delicious and very reasonable sandwiches for the city. Found this shop by searching on Yelp. We usually hit up different sandwich restaurants in the city after going to the Academy. We went with Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Santorini, One Night Stand, and The Harvest. We ordered mostly on Dutch Crunch. Its a good sandwich bread, but its also a LOT of bread to bite through. My favorite was the One Night Stand. Service was decent for the amount of sandwiches ordered. Definitely a hidden secret in the streets around Golden Gate Park. Btw parking is a little stressful here

They say you snooze and you lose. I wish I bought this business before it was hot.This liquor store has been on the market for so long and no one saw the value. The current owner/employee decided to give it a shot and renovated it.Best liquor store for all your needs + deli store. Best wishes to their business going forward!

I lived on this street in the 90's. Back then Eddy's was dark, cramped, and dusty. These days it's under different ownership and the store is more pleasant. Also, they now offer tasty and surprisingly affordable sandwiches.

This place has very good sandwiches. My cousin Vinny sandwich had fresh meat and it was delicious. There wer a great selection of chips and beverages. There was plenty of wine. This is a cool corner store.

I keep giving this place chances and they keep screwing up! I ordered their cheese sandwich (I'm a vegetarian) and they literally sent me a bacon sandwich. The worst part is, the sandwich is pathetic, even for a bacon sandwich.
