Just moved to the city and this was the first place I went to. The Beyti is insanely delicious. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant, very little lighting (my favorite) it's perfect for a date night. Service was great!

I honestly had no expectations going in, but I was blown away by the salmon provencal dish -- soo nice and creamy, and I loved the fennel/sundried tomato on it. It was really unique and tasteful, and loved that it was paired with veggies and healthy rice and chickpeas. I was very satiated after eating this dish. I came with a friend for dinner and she got the Dunya burger which she also enjoyed. The fries we shared and were thin and crispy the way I like them. Ambiance was dimly lit and not that busy (went for a weekday dinner). Service was pretty reasonable and I would totally come back just to eat this salmon. This was a nice neighborhood treat after passing by so many times!

We came in for dinner on SB Sunday... The restaurant is located on Polk Street and parking can be difficult at any time of the day or night. We got in, and found that we were the only patrons in the place. We figured everyone else was still watching the game/post game etc...The interior is really nice and our server was great. What turned us off though was that the staff was talking and joking the entire time we were there. Not about us, but just that regular chatter and kidding around. But, they were really loud and annoying. The menu is good and has a nice variety of items to select from.We began with the mixed Meze platter - this was an excellent choice, and the star of the night with so many items to try. The muhammara was our favorite though. For the mains, we both enjoyed the Musakka, and shared the brussel sprouts dish. Brussel sprouts were excellently prepared. The Musakka was very good, but admittedly we have had better elsewhere. Overall, Dunya is a very good restaurant to have a nice Mediterranean meal for lunch or dinner.

This is my absolute favorite bottomless brunch spot in all of SF! My friends and I have probably been here at least 10 times and we always look forward to the next time we get to go back.I almost always get the burger, which is made with a delicious combination of ground beef and lamb. The patty is so thick and juicy, I usually deconstruct it and eat the burger piece by piece. The fries are thin, crispy, and well seasoned too.The servers are absolutely phenomenal, very attentive but not overwhelming. They always joke around and interact with us and it adds so much to the overall experience! The vibes inside always feel like a warm summer day, no matter the season. Can't even describe how much I love coming here!!!

Came back to Dunya this weekend for a lunch visit and bottomless mimosas! Once again, was not disappointed by this place. The waitstaff are always really friendly to us and happy to keep the mimosas coming. We made a reservation for 12:30 and were the only customers when we arrived, but as time went on the restaurant filled up in the early afternoon around 1/1:30.The food here is also really good. I went with the dunya burger, which is a beef and lamb patty on a ciabatta bun. The price for the burger is a little on the high side ($22), but it comes with fries AND a side salad, so in the end it feels like a good deal for the amount of food. Overall another really great time at Dunya and I will definitely be returning again in the future!!

I met a friend here for a quick bite after work . It is a pretty intimate and cozy space which is what drew me in. I thought the service was pretty average. We had the mezzo platter which includes a little bite of everything. Overall I found it a little disappointing and think you are better off sticking to the individual hummus, tzatziki and muhammara dishes.

Was super excited to try this place as I saw great reviews of the food. Food was delicious and the restaurant was cute, but service was so slow. I was a server/bartender for 8 years and usually have a lot of empathy for that stuff. Sometimes we have bad days, sometimes we're slammed, I get it. However, we were one of 3 tables in the restaurant (small ones) and I have never received such slow service. Our server walked past us multiple times, and we had to flag her down for every ask: drinks, apps, entrees, dessert, and lastly the check. The food was definitely on the expensive side which I wouldn't have minded paying for if the service reflected that price. Honestly wouldn't come back unless I was planning on dining for hours. If you're going to have high-end prices, you need to have service that reflects that
