Some of the best cakes and desserts in the mission. I like to get the Tres Leches and the guava cake. Sometimes we do the chocolate or choco tres leches. Stop by for a slice or get a whole cake. They're also popular for their soft rolls. Oh yea, and be nice. The workers are super conscientious and even replaced the fruit topping on my last cake for some freshly cut strawberries and kiwis. They want you to be happy. So be nice & don't come in here tryna rush them because *you* made the decision to double park. Be nice & don't come in here arguing about how much things cost because you're a dollar short. People be wildin'

I have been to a lot of Chinese Bakeries all over by the city of the bay which includes Chinatown This was my very 1st time going inside to this Dragon City Bakery, & What I bought was a Chocolate Brownie which tasted really Good in the beginning I didn't know what to buy until when I saw the 可口的Kěkǒu de Brownies So From there I have decided to buy myself a chocolate Brownie!!! If your a fan of Chocolate Brownie... Go to the Dragon City Bakery which is in the The Mission Street Area!!!!!

Always friendly and fast service. Fresh bread runs out quickly, especially the pineapple buns.

Beautiful. Elegant. My wedding cake looks and tastes like everything I dreamt of since I was a little girl. The pastry chef Henry is absolutely the best!!!!

The Best Chinese Cake I've had in such a long time! I grew up in Chinatown, Los Angeles, and I grew up eating Chinese cakes all my life! Dragon City Bakery Cake was the best ever, custom made the way I wanted! Half banana and half strawberry filling, topped with fresh fruit and outside layered with fresh almonds! Half the price of other more expensive bakeries! My partner and I, literally, gorged the entire 8 inches cake in two days! Yes, it was that scrumptious!Strongly recommend this Bakery to those who appreciate excellent cakes!

The coffee is good, the pastries are made fresh daily, and the place is clean once you get inside. What more could you ask for in a cheap bakery? For those on any sort of diet, be advised that everything here has either flour or sugar, most often both. The only protein I could find in the entire place was these baked rolls that had a hot dog protruding through the center. The hot dog was one of those cheapo bland tasting ones. But the roll was fresh.The coffee here is self-serve and made incrementally pot-by-pot throughout the day as it is used up by customers. The small coffee is very small, maybe just 8oz. You'll find that a normal-sized coffee is somewhere in the range of their medium or large.

Living temporarily right about this bakery at the El Captain, I quite enjoyed going and getting a fresh pastry every morning as I walked my dog. Everything they have is super affordable usually about 2-3$. I would usually have a fruit tart with whip.

You're the next contestant on, the price is right! The mini eclairs come at the low price of two for $1.20. I bought a bag full and it was the first tray cleared at the holiday potluck at my office. I didn't have time to take a picture of them on the platter. I didn't even get to try one myself. But you can bet I'm going back to the Dragon City Bakery sometime soon.

Was so rude on the phone and in person. It was Christmas, we went in for food, ON THE DOOR it says they take card. After she packed up our order she then said they only take cash and refused to wait for us to walk to an ATM (a one minute walk). Will not be coming back here, please train your staff to not be rude. Was so angry that we took time on Christmas to come to them.

I ordered and paid a week in advance for Christmas 140 units of French rolls and they gave me a sealed box with completely different rolls that they show in display.It was stale, maybe from the day before and taste different and all sizes and deformed.I WILL NEVER ORDER IN ADVANCE.IF (and is a really big if) I ORDER AGAIN I WILL ASK TO SEE WHAT THEY PUT IN THE BOX.
