Decent local dim sum place. My mom likes to stop by on weekends sometimes to pick up some dim sum for breakfast.The place is no frills - no where to sit, you order at the counter and you pay there too after they pick out your order. All of the signs are a bit funny to read.I do have to say, between this place and the other dim sum place a block down, this place has bigger and tastier dim sum. (We did a taste test one weekend where we bought the same items from both places.) Good siu mai.Street parking only, and cash is king always at Chinese places.

This place is shady as hell. The worst part is they act nice in front of you, but over charges you. Every single time I come here and buy the same items, it's different price. One time it was over $5 over charge after I checked the prices online. They count on people not checking the price and in a rush. God knows how many people they tricked. This is immoral and unethical. These shady places to not deserve to be in business. Preying on unsuspecting customers that just want some food is ridiculous. Do not set foot in this shady place.

I always come here for their corn dumplings! It's so tasty that they sell out early. I make sure I get at least three orders because after eating one, you want another one. Their pineapple mochis are also delicious if you like fresh mochis since it has fresh pineapples in it. Casual togo dim sum and they also have rice plates.

I Have Visited This Place A Couple Of Times Now And I Always Order Their Steamed Pork Dumplings, Steamed Shrimp Dumplings, Deep Fried Shrimp Dumplings, That Are So Tasty And Also There Big Steamed Pork Buns That Has Mushroom, Hardboiled Egg And MeatBalls And Steamed BBQ Pork Buns. As I'am Looking Forward To Try Some More Of There Menus. The Staff Are Friendly And Gives You The Details Of The Menu. The Location Is So Accessible For Commute A Safe And Friendly Ambiance Inside The Store.

This is your typical dim sum takeout place. Would say this place is old school family recipes as they have a variety of products I have not seen in years that most places do not carry. I did not expect to see Bai Tang Gao 白糖糕, Put Chai Gao 缽仔糕 or two types of youtiao. This alone is worth the trip. I had their shrimp dumpling which seems be to a popular item. Good chew and shrimp flavor is pretty good. Their siu mai was good as well. Better than some of sit down dim sum restaurants. I would pass on the plain churn fun, it was a bit bland given how much color it had.

I was expecting this place just to offer dim sum. I was surprised on the portions of plates for dining in. The Kung Pao chicken was good and the plate was big. Worth a try if you are around the area.

This neighborhood dim sum takeout is a gem. They have my favorite salty fried bread at a very good price! Dim sum dishes are so good quality at a very good price.Parking can be challenging during busy weekends and weekdays. One can only find street parking. Go early. I believe they open at 8am in the morning.Whenever I am in the neighborhood, will patron it.

This used to be Hoy Sun dim sum/restaurant. I miss Hoy Sun. If you compare the food from back then to now, the ingredients and flavors now seem skimped. Tonight, I decided to get some food from the hot trays in front of the restaurant. Chow mein $7 an order (they also sell a smaller box for $5), pork chop $7 an order and a sticky rice with chicken wrapped in lotus leaf $3.85. If you go a few blocks down, the prices are lower. The food here is OK. Not great.

Staff will get your order wrong and when you ask for an exchange, they will not do anything to rectify it. Food is ok but not worth the trouble. Consider other dim sum places.

I would give 5 stars but I deduct one because the steam rice roll with 2 sauces was really dry. We asked for more sauce. I suggest to give and make a soysauce sauce to go with it. It is like eating hard and dry rolled rice noodles.Service was efficient and friendly. Ambiance pleasant. There was a fan overhead and 2 or more portable AC running. It was lunch time and business just started. We were the first table so room not hot yet.
