Went to the SF for the China Town Festival and NBA All Star events. Stopped here for a quick bite. Had the Shrimp and Pork Sui Mui. Come 3 in a box. Guy at counter was welcoming. The menu was very clear and easy to read. Good quick bite. Plan to go back to try more items on the menu. Easy walk from the Montgomery Street BART station.

I gave this spot two chances and was very disappointed both times. Walking around Chinatown, this spot catches your eye as the outside seems fairly more established than other spots, it's big and open, and seems more tourist friendly. You order at the counter here, sit down at one of their many tables, and they bring out the food for you.The first time I went here, it was crowded and there was barely any seats. I figured it must've been a pretty decent spot for so many people to come. So, my friends and I ordered a couple dumplings to share. Although they weren't the best, they were something to eat (because we were starving). Until I bit into one that was ICE cold--like, still was solid ice in the middle. It was disgusting. The second time I went here, I came with my partner and the place was fairly empty as it was a weekday (like there were only 3-4 tables out of their 15+). We waited at the counter to order for about 5 minutes before anyone came up. And, somehow the food coming out seemed even slower than last time (when it was super busy). This time, the quality seemed even worse. The taste wasn't bad, but it didn't look very appealing. In addition, they forgot one of the items we ordered. Overall, they've messed up so many times that I don't think I would ever try it again.

Came in on Sunday at lunch so a little busy but filled up quick after I got here. Food I got a couple dim sum favorites. Pork shu mai and shrimp dumplings. Took a little while after I ordered but not too bad. The service was pretty quick. Nothing spectacular but no frills. Just getting stuff done Looked like one cook, one servAmbiance felt like a cafeteria or a quick shuffle in and eat and out. I think this place would have been better if they just pushed around traditional dim sum Cart to choose and eat. Probably make more and sell more but who knows. Cool wall mural and bao pop art.

Convenient location just a bit before you hit China Town in the Bay Area! Great menu and the food came out sequentially rather than bombarding all at once.

I want so badly to like/enjoy this place since I work so close but 20+ mins for one order while no one is here is a little ridiculous. (See photo for order. Yes, it was ONLY shrimp dumplings. Edit: Shrimp tastes absolutely frozen and the dumpling are cold. I actually threw it out. The times on the door on inaccurate and I can never really tell when the place is open. There are plenty of other places on Chinatown. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

They took a very long time to give me a quick bun order. Not a good place if you're in a hurry.

Very easy to order, the spicy wontons were juicy, amazing and flavorful. Also had the popcorn chicken which was equally yummy. I ordered the BBQ steamed buns but found them to be too doughy tasting. Food was fairly priced.

Stopped by to grab some xiao long bao for dinner. I got two orders (3 pcs $6 for one order) and it was ready in about 15 minutes. The skin was a little thicker than I would've liked, and by the time I brought it home, the soup from sone of them had seeped out which was a bummer. The overall taste was very good - meaty, perfectly salted and was a nice portion for the price.

Review based on my dumplings, staff friendliness, and potential. I stopped here on my way to the Westfield mall. I was super hungry and needed a snack. I ordered the shrimp dumplings which were $5.95. The dumplings were delicious, elegant, and sumptuous. The staff was friendly. The ambience was lack luster (I was there at 12 pm. It may be better in the evenings) and a pigeon walked in, strutted around, then relaxed while I was waiting for my food which made me question their cleanliness in general.

Convenient and inexpensive dim sum place in Chinatown. Not the best but not bad. I tried the pork shiu mai, BBQ pork bun, and some garlic noodles (forgot what they were called). Service was mediocre but the food was adequate. For that, three stars.
