I've been to Deli Board twice now with my girlfriend, and both times were a hit. There's something about a warm, stacked sandwich paired with the SF breeze and cold air that just makes the experience even better. On our most recent visit, I got the Allison sandwich, and she got the Leroy Brown. I tried both, and honestly, the Allison is far superior. The house sauce and pickles on the side take it to another level, and they absolutely stuff the sandwich with pastrami, which I love. If you're ever here, I highly recommend getting the Allison--you won't regret it.The only downsides are that the location is a bit tricky since it's in a busy area with only street parking, and even that was hard to find. If you can, take public transportation and walk to avoid the hassle. Also, the sandwiches are on the pricier side, but considering the quality and portions, it's worth it.Overall, Deli Board is a go-to for a solid sandwich in SF, and I'd definitely come back again.

Deli Board is absolutely worth every dollar. It's a bit pricier than your average sandwich shop, but the sandwiches here are anything but average. I ordered the Paulette, a delicious combination of chicken salad, bacon, pepperoncino blend, and brown mustard/board sauce on Dutch crunch. I appreciated that they were generous with their meat portions. My partner got the 49er, and although he usually isn't a fan of pastrami, he couldn't stop raving about his order. We also got an order of waffle fries, which came in a generous portion, along with Mick sauce--a tasty honey mustard aioli. The shop is small but filled with quirky knick-knacks, giving it an East Coast feel mixed with San Francisco vibes. They also sell their homemade hot sauce, which seemed to be a popular choice. If you're driving, keep an eye out--there's no obvious sign advertising this spot. There's only one small outdoor table, which was occupied the entire time I waited in line and for my order. Many people seemed to take their sandwiches to a nearby park to enjoy. Like many areas in San Francisco, you might see a few homeless individuals nearby, but they were just minding their own business

This was one of the highest recommended sandwich spots in SF so I'm glad we finally got to try it! We got the 555 and the Leroy Brown, as well as waffle fries. The 555 was really good, as was the Leroy Brown! The pastrami was really tasty, and I loved the gooey cheese on the Leroy Brown. Also loved the peperoncini mix on both sandwiches. Overall these were just some really good sandwiches! The price is definitely pretty high which is a common criticism, and I'd agree. With that said, it was super filling and tasty so I'd still come back for sure.

If it's your first time and you are looking for this place. Drive slow and keep your eyes open, there isn't a huge sign calling out. They have prefixed sandwiches and the brisket is the way to go. They make a house sauce that reminds me of the bougie hipster cousin of ranch. Portion is huge and the price is on the higher side but you'll see why when you get your food.

Great sandwiches, friendly staff, but on the pricier side and in a less-than-ideal spot for eating takeout.Dropped by on a Saturday afternoon and the line was pretty long, though the wait wasn't as bad as I expected. I'd say it took about 15 minutes to get to the front.I got the Armando ($21) and an order of their fries, which are curly on the current menu (and $11) but were waffle fries when I went a couple months back. The food came out pretty quickly given all the people waiting, but this place is to-go only, with one tiny table for two out front. We were in a group of three and went to a park across the street and a bit down the block. As expected, there were a number of homeless asleep on the limited amount of benches, as well as dog owners letting their off-leash dogs run right up to our food, doing nothing to keep them away even as we were clearly shooing them off of us. The sidewalks in the area smell pretty heavily of urine and we walked past what was clearly a pile of human excrement to and from the car. While these issues aren't the fault of Deli Board, not having any seating means having to take the sandwich somewhere nearby to eat. They don't hold up well to extended travel. But the conditions in the park definitely worked against my appetite. The sandwich was huge and I took half of it home, which made the $21 price tag more reasonable. It was stuffed with turkey and the board sauce was delicious, but the waffle fries and mick sauce were both underwhelming and one-note. Even if I lived much closer than I do, I'm not sure I'd make the trek over here very often.

This review is about my 2 visits here. And I'll start off by saying that for me, this was an easy 5/5. My friend DMd me a post about this place on IG it it looked so good we just had to make a trip to SF for this. That first time we went I ordered one of their weekly specials, "Spesh," which was pastrami, brisket, corned beef, white american cheese, pickles and Board sauce on a garlic french roll. Their sandwiches are expensive, but they are LOADED. For the average person, you will NOT leave hungry. The combination of the 3 meats you might expect to be overwhelming, but with the cheese, board sauce and pickles, everything is somehow in balanced harmony. The waffle fries were good as well. They maintained their crisp on our walk back to my car. We would have eaten there but they literally just have 1 table right outside and it's by reservation only. My buddy ordered the Allison. While his sandwich was pretty good, I thought mine was a bit better. As for visit 2: this time I went with my cousin. We did the same thing, ordered and headed straight to my car. I ordered the "Gracious" and he ordered the "Zitta" and once again I'd say mine was a bit better. The gracious had: pastrami, roast beef, cheddar cheese, pepperoncini, coleslaw, thousand Island, brown mustard on a French roll. While the Gracious was good, I must say my first sandwich, "Spesh" was just a bit better.

From the reviews on Yelp and TikTok, I had to make a stop here before heading back home. Everyone raved about the pastrami and corn beef sandwiches, which are a must-try! The service was fantastic from the friendly staff in the front to their helpful suggestions. I had my heart set on this sandwich just 15 minutes before closing, and there was no line. The place had a unique and cool aesthetic that I loved. Thanks, sF, for introducing me to this great sandwich spot. I'll definitely be back!

Very flavorful sandwiches! Got the 49er since it had everything i liked, and actually enjoyed it a lot. It was pretty pricey as expected (~$25), but i think portions were decent and flavor was very good. interior waiting area was pretty interesting as well, with the art.

PICKLES!! I'm a huge pickle-lover and will always base my sandwich reviews based on the pickle they provide - 9/10 pickle. It was perfect amount of pickled, crunchy, and a large serving of pickle. Besides that, the sandwich itself was also super delicious, packed with lots of meat, toppings, and more pickles!! It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth - half a sandwich filled me up so it's basically two portions. Also, when we visited, we were randomly gifted Deli Board hoodies. A super nice gesture from a friendly business!
