The BEST momos! I crave it every time the weather gets cold. The soup is very spicy (be warned!) but warms you up very quickly and is so comforting. Please reopen so we can stop by again!

This place is a must-go for someone looking for flavor and spice. At roughly $20, you can get a plate of rice, naan, salad, channa, daal, momo sauce PLUS an entree. I tried the cremini mushroom curry (mushroom tarkari) with added spice level -- the heat, depth flavor, and quantity blew me away. I enjoyed the uniqueness of options for vegetarians -- eggplant, black eyed peas and bamboo shoot curry, lentils and I will definitely be back to try it all. The ambiance is casual and somewhat intimate with tables close to each other, and with the chef/owner walking around and greeting patrons it adds to the charm of the restaurant.

My go to spot for takeout when I want something warm, cozy, and flavorful. I usually get the jhol momo which comes in a spicy brothy liquid. This is actually decently spicy so if you're not used to it just be ware. I love that it is actually spicy enough for normal south Asian/south East Asian standards. The owners are also very nice!

Come for the momo's, stay for the garlic naan. Really though everything on the menu is a hit. We've been coming here for several years and have tried most of the menu without disappointment. Came again last Friday and had the pharsi (butternut squash) curry and the sizzling chicken. Both were great and appreciated the combo option. The staff are really friendly sometimes they give little freebies like extra naan or free glass of wine. Highly recommended trying this place out.

This place will have every taste bud celebrating with absolute joy. The curry's offered in this small restaurant pack a lot of flavor. You can tell that the chef has a lot of love and a lot of pride in their craft. The curries are all beautifully fragrant, wonderfully savory and have a lot of technique that goes into each and every dish. We ordered vegetable momos (fabulous!) 3 curries (2 veg, 1 chicken) and this was plenty of food for our party of 3. We did end up ordering an extra order of butter naan. I wish I could have this daily (don't worry about the carb or calorie count, you'll thank me for this). The service was outstanding, I noticed that the whole staff is happy to see you and serve you throughout your meal. If you're new to this cuisine this is a very good place to start your journey. Do yourself the favor and come here! It's a small place but an absolute gem. I am very happy to see this place thriving. Def making it apart of my must haves when I visit the beautiful city of San Francisco.

We came here to try the Salmon Curry, vegetarian Momos, and the Palak Paneer. The Naan and Rice is complimentary with every dish! The Momos: I see why everyone raves about them. They have layers of spices in each bite, and the curry sauce they come with has a little kick. They are so delicious. The spice does not overwhelm all the other flavors in the Momo. Salmon Curry: Oh I loved this dish. You can really taste the salmon amidst the curry spices, and the texture was *chef's kiss! There was enough that two people had a bit of leftovers too. Palak Paneer: I've read hit of miss reviews about this dish. Some people said it was too thin/liquid of a sauce. I've had Palak Paneer at numerous places and every single place does it a little differently. It's true that Palak Paneer at Cuisine of Nepal had a thinner curry but it's still delicious. The cheese cubes are quite large and flavorful. The sauce was mild in spice. For desert we ordered Lal Mohan, yum!! A very sweet taste with a pudding-like texture. Reminded me very much of a doughnut hole but soaked in honey. In this case it was saffron. The ambience: Cuisine of Nepal feels very European in terms of its inner layout. My wife and I sat at a two person table in a long row of two person tables down a narrow hall. We got there for an early dinner (around 5:30) and the place had only two other guests. By the time 6:30 rolled around I felt like I was at an intimate dinner party with long rows of people facing each other. It became very busy so I'd suggest coming earlier to get a seat.

GoFundMe for Cuisine of Nepal! The cities negligence caused the restaurant to be flooded and I would like to see the community come together to help the restaurant owner Prem out! His food is amazing it would be a shame if this restaurant had to shutter like many others in San Francisco

My favorite place to get Nepali food. They have the best Chwela and Momo. Waiting patiently for their reopening! Also, my dad's favorite place to hangout when he was visiting from Nepal.
