Food: If you're looking for a delicious lobster roll this is your place! The lobster roll itself is great, with soft bread and a good amount of lobster for the perfect ratio. The only downsides were that the bread could have been buttered a bit less and the cole slaw was mediocre.Ambience: The restaurant is clean with lots of seating. The boat decor keeps to the theme as well. Service: Service is relatively fast and definitely reasonable for a fast casual spot.Price: The price is quite high for a small portion, but that's to be expected for a lobster roll in San Francisco. You definitely get the quality you're paying for at least, as you get large chunks of sweet lobster meat.

The order: SF special with garlic butter lobster roll and a bowl of New England chowderThe chowder was not hot so we brought it back to ask them to heat it and instead they gave us a serving "fresh from the pot". I'm not sure where our first serving came from.... but the 2nd bowl was only a sliver warmer. The flavor of the soup was just okay. Tater tots were the hottest item we got. The lobster roll was decent. I would get that again.

Food, service, and ambiance all fell short of my expectations. The garlic butter lobster roll was good, but the filets in the fish & chips were stingy small. No restroom available to customers, and to wash your hands, you have to ask to go behind the counter to use the staff sink. Chairs were hard. Cashier needed everything repeated twice. The whole place was very cold in late January (we never took our jackets off). Not the pier seafood experience we hoped for, but not a complete disaster - just can't see myself recommending it.

The lobster rolls are the greatest. I'm originally from New England and grew up eating fried belly clams. So once I found out the pier 41 store had them we just had to make the trip across the bay. BIG disappointment. The serving was ALL batter and could not taste the clams. More clam taste in a $6.99 box of frozen clam strips at the market. Well at least my wife had a great lobster rolls. Me? I had under cooked fries along with fried batter. Where were the clams?

When visiting San Fran, this place was very convenient since it's on the pier in the Fisherman's Wharf area. We ordered the Connecticut Roll, Fish & Chips, and the Crab Roll. The server was pretty fast. We sat outside on the pier since it was so nice - hearing music and the water was nice. I would say the food was pretty good but it's just a little pricey. The fish tasted fresh and was yummy.

It was okay... We got the Lobster Bisque in a bread bowl. The soup was creamy and well seasoned. They gave 4 pieces of lobster with it. The bread bowl was a disappointment though! Very stale bread... I'd recommend getting the soup without it. I'll try the lobster grilled cheese next time!Customer service was great! A lot of seats inside with good air conditioning. No bathroom for customers though :(

It's all about simplicity and letting the fresh lobster shine.Maine Lobster Roll: A classic take on the lobster roll, served chilled with a touch of mayonnaise. This roll highlights the tender and creamy texture of the lobster.Lobster Tacos: These tacos are a festive twist on traditional seafood fare, featuring tender chunks of lobster nestled in soft tortillas, topped with a fresh cilantro and lime slaw, pico de gallo.Fried Clams with Fries: The clams are coated in a light batter that crisps up beautifully, offering a crunchy texture, served with fries. I normally don't write bad reviews because I'm all for supporting small business owners. My boyfriend and I did a clam chowder tour and wanted to taste different chowders and rate the best around pier 39. We passed by CML as we saw they were seen on shark tank. The clam chowder was honestly inedible.... It didn't even taste like clam chowder and all we tasted was sharp cheddar cheese. The cashier was nice enough to let us exchange for the lobster bisque cuz we explained it was inedible to us. The lobster bisque was honestly worst..... it wasn't creamy, and it didn't taste like what we expected. Maybe we just have higher expectations but it was very bland for a lobster bisque. It tasted like a watered down tomato soup. We ended up tossing the soup as we didn't want to get sick eating it. I do appreciate the cashiers effort in letting us exchange it but we definitely need expected better clam chowder and lobster bisque for $8 a cup.

This review is for their food truck spot at pier 41. I was greeted immediately and it was super easy to place my order. They accepted Apple Pay which was nice and convenient. My sandwich was ready within a few minutes. It was delicious and the texture was just right. There have been other locations I've tried where I wasn't crazy about the lobster but this location got it right. It was damn good and definitely hit the spot for my lobster craving.
