Corona Heights Market and Deli

This place is located what is known as the center of the planet San Francisco. The streets around the Corona Heights Market are named after planets which ring a bell like Saturn. Other names you will find are Uranus. Corona Heights Market has a sandwich named the planet Mars ( which is also the name of the street across the street) . This is a place to grab some loose ends or go for a last minute liquor run. A good place to land. Great neighborhood market. Many high quality products with variety of organic and local stuff. Milk, cheese, eggs, pasta and so on are all Whole Foods grade. The sandwiches are great. lots of options. The highlight is the homemade food. Tabouleh to kill for. Mujaddara. Baklava. Hummus. The works. The family who runs the place is awesome. They're creating a real community spot.

Great customer service! We ordered spaghetti and meatballs which were delicious. They have lots of healthy salad options. I want to come back and try the pesto salad and the lentils salad. They had dolmas and hummus. There are several healthy food and snack options. We also, ordered sandwiches which were a really good size and they have lots of sandwich options. So glad I found this place. We will definitely be back. If you are in the area stop by this place.

14 years later... Mary and her mom are back. Love the sandwiches. Excited to have a local sandwich/deli in the neighborhood. Love the drink and snack collection. Welcome back!

I love this place! So much variety and the quality of the food is amazing! Not to mention the service. This is going to be my new spot in the Bay Area.

I found out about the reopening of this little market/deli a few days ago, and I've been twice already. So clearly I like it. :)I had a delicious Italian sub. It's not on the menu, but they'll make any kind of custom sandwich for you. The sandwiches are large for one person -- I could only eat half of mine, so I recommend finding someone to share with.I've also had their pistachio baklava, dolmas and homemade hummus. All are good.It's a cute shop with great service.

My sister and son and I walked a block down 17th Street from our house on Uranus Terrace to check out the opening of the new/old Corona Heights Market & Deli.-We were greeted by sister & brother team of Mike & Mary and their adorable mom, the cook!-It was meant to be. We were having a family gathering the next day and I was trying to figure out what to serve.- They were so great helping me pick the menu for 9 adults and 6 kids.-Outstanding dishes were Hummus, Mujadara, a rice or bulgar & lentil dish with carmalized onions -we got one of each, which were served with Tzakziki. Plus, Tabouli made special for my gluten free daughter with quinoa instead of bulgar. Baba Ganoush, dolmas, Garlic Bread & Italian Meat Balls, all homemade.Followed by Baklava and another delightful dessert'-Can't wait to go back and try some of their Deli Sandwiches!!Thank you SO much for the wonderful meal and the fast service!!I highly recommend!!Patty Corwin, Twin Peaks

Excellent Momma's Meatball Sandwich with meatballs made by the mother of the man who makes the sandwich. In addition to being spot on accurate, it's also very well made with just the right amount of gooey provolone and marinara sauce on crunchy on the outside yet soft and fresh sourdough bread. Option to go Dutch Crunch if preferred.If you're not in the mood for a sandwich but want fresh deli items, they also have tabbouleh, tortellini pasta salad, the meatballs a la carte, and other items. Well stocked market with dry/nonperishable goods as well. Check it out if you're in the neighborhood!

My new favorite sandwich spot but also so much more! Great assortment of all of your everyday needs and fresh produce. Really nice freshly made sides in their deli section as well.
