Great place for a grab and go or quick sandwich. I really liked the chicken licken sandwich. Friendly staff and they made the order pretty fast, unlike some other nearby sandwich shops. The online menu is not up to date on prices.

Very nice staff that helps you! Service Grade: A+They had a nice selection of breads and options for your sandwich. I opted to create my own that starts at $8.99! I gave this place a 4 because the flavor was there and a good portion of meat. A tasty sandwich for $12 after tax is pretty darn good! I would give it a 4.4 if I could. I was hoping for a cole slaw or something to add to my sandwich, but im shooting for the stars. Sandwich options Grade: A-I ordered a hot pastrami with all the basics and added bacon, pesto and pepperoncini to it. The sourdough roll was a good size and the chew to it did not disappoint. Grade: A-They had many chip options and a handful of drinks. (I did come on a busy Saturday) One gentleman who worked there was restocking everything which I appreciated. Other Options Grade: A-/B+My experience overall was great. The timeliness of my order was decent as they were pretty busy. I would come here again if I wanted a sandwich near "The Ave"

I'm always looking for a thanksgiving sandwich with all the fixings (like stuffing) instead of just a turkey cranberry sandwich so CJ's caught my attention. And indeed, it didn't disappoint! I got it on Dutch crunch and the sandwich came out slightly warm and toasted. The stuffing had great flavor that came through despite being covered by a ton of other toppings. I could've used more cranberry sauce to give it that sweet component but overall 4/5 for a solid thanksgiving sandwich. My friend also got the chicken lickin sandwich and that was just ok. We both preferred the thanksgiving. We arrived around 12:30 and there were plenty of people waiting for the orders but everything came out quick. I'd come back to try some other sandwiches.

I got the BALT, which was the best sandwich I have ever had. The service was amazing and the staff were super friendly. The environment was nice, it looked like your average deli but did not have much space for sitting down. I wish it stayed open for longer.

cute shop in Burlingame! Small with a few seatings but the prices are amazing! While little luccas is still a go to place - i was looking for something less gigantic and it would also be nice to try something new.Found this place but there werent updated menu prices, i even checked out their website and im like...oh man...its going to be like hiked upGot here and to my surprise, the prices were the same as their website, you really cant get anything less than 15$ these days so this was a joy.I really wanted a nice toasted sandwich, so i opted for a pressed sandwich and got myself a safe choice of the BR Chicken - which is chicken, racon, ranch with pepperoncini and swiss on dutch crunch. I added red onions at no extra cost! Was the sandwich the size of a firstborn - no but it was a good size for lunch without food coma (the size of my forearm)And the bread....PERFECTLY crunched, you can definitely do the ASMR with it. It was hot, it was melty, it was pressed! The portion of the ingredients were balanced, not really too much of one or the other and the chicken was sliced pieces so its not one whole breast. The ranch was not super creamy thick so it didnt overpower the cheese. I enjoyed it very much. I do wish they gave me a bit more pepperoncini and onions but thats a preference.2 sandwiches - less than 30$will definitely come back!

I used to work on the ave, and after hearing the hype all my coworkers said about this place I had to try it out. Man it did not dissolve one bit!! They are super sweet and super fast with their orders. You can wait inside and or eat at the tables they have outside. I've never had a perfect toasted sandwich outside of this place. It's pretty affordable and really good quality, I love coming here to get my fix!My order: Meatball Express on Dutch Crunch -- This was recommended by my coworker at the time, and she changed my mind about a meatball sub. They toast the sandwich to the point that it is perfectly crispy on the outside. Their meatballs are so perfect with a hint of spice.

Tucked away off Burlingame ave, this is a great affordable and filling meal. The sandwich can surely be split between two people and is the perfect amount of full to still get a boba or drink afterwards. Prices are reasonable and nothing outrageous. They offer create your own or set menu offerings. I opted for create your own because I was so indecisive, and its only $7.99, a real deal. They have limited seating inside and outside but there's plenty of public benches you can eat your sandwich in. Service is fast and staff is friendly. Would recommend for lunch or a quick bite.

In the last two or three weeks I've been to four different establishments on the Burlingame Avenue corridor. Delfinos, Wahlburger, Panda, and Corneta. All provided great service and good food. I stood in CJs today with an otherwise empty lobby. Two workers didn't even acknowledge me as I remained standing like I was invisible. When they continue to ignore me I considered it so rude that I stepped out momentarily, but then walked back in thinking it was a glitch. The same workers again ignored me and a third person, stepped out of the back and didn't say a word to me either. So I left and spent the $50 somewhere else. We have always went to CJ's however, I'm going to start going try Ike's now.
