Cinderella Bakery & Cafe is a charming spot for Russian pastries and baked goods. We stopped by and picked up a Poppyseed Roll, Mushroom Baked Piroshki, and Napoleon Cake, and overall, it was a great experience. * Poppyseed Roll: Soft, slightly sweet, and generously filled with poppy seeds. The texture was just right--not too dry, not too dense. If you love poppyseed pastries, this one is a must-try. * Mushroom Baked Piroshki: Flaky and buttery crust with a savory, well-seasoned mushroom filling. It was warm and fresh, making it a satisfying snack. * Napoleon Cake: Perfectly layered, crispy, and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. It had a nice balance of textures and wasn't overwhelmingly rich. The bakery has a cozy atmosphere with outdoor seating, making it a nice place to enjoy a pastry and coffee. The selection of baked goods is extensive, so there's always something new to try. The service was efficient, though it can get busy at peak hours.Would definitely return to explore more of their menu, especially their piroshkis and desserts!

We took our family to Cinderella Bakery & Cafe to celebrate Father's Day, and it was such a wonderful experience. It was our first time trying both the borscht and the blinchiki, and my dad absolutely loved them! The borscht was delightfully vinegary, hearty, and filling--just perfect. We ordered three borscht, two beef stroganoff, two piroshki, one honey cake, and four blinchiki. Everything was delicious! The beef stroganoff was a bit heavier than expected, with a rich, almost chili-like consistency, but still very flavorful. The piroshki were warm and comforting, and the blinchiki were a delightful treat especially with the spreads. The honey cake was a perfect sweet finish, and was a fan favorite by all of us especially my mother who prefers kess sweet desserts. What really stood out was how homey and welcoming the whole experience felt. It was like being treated to a neighborhood grandma's cooking--warm, familiar, and made with care. Sitting outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, enjoying our meal while people-watching, made for such a pleasant and relaxing lunch. What we ordered for 5 people:*3 borsche*2 beef stroganoff*2 beef piroshki*1 honey cake*1 napoleon cake*2 orders of blinchiki (comes with 2)Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious, authentic Russian comfort food in a cozy setting.

Yum!! This really is a a great spot if you're craving pierogis. This place is traditional Russian food items so everything is called by the actual name. Blinchiki with sweet cheese was the most memorable to me - delicious! The borsch soup also was so flavorful. Really everything we ordered was so tasty. It is a busy spot that seems to always have a line, but I think it is worth it.

It's a good community for sure, but I didn't click with this place. The coffee is on the bitter side, even mocha, which is supposed to be sweet, is so bitter. And the chi latte lacks of the chi flavor. My friend even didn't finds. The pastry is good, on the other hand. The people here are nice and quick. The place is cute. It's not my favorite place, but people seem to like it.

Stumbled upon this cute lil Russian bakery with lots of baked goods (sweet and savory). We got lucky as there was no wait and got a kale tomato and cheese croissant (best decision ever). The kale was crispy and small in size so easy to eat with just the right amount of cheese and tomato. The pastry was baked to perfection (crispy and buttery). The service was quick and we got a warmed up croissant in no time. It is a small bakery with only outdoor seating so a great place to come on a sunny day.

What a fabled, storied, and legendary bakery and cafe - a story as old as time that spans generations! My grandparents came here as a treat many many decades ago, and I myself have never sat down here until now. I have had their baked goods sold at grocery stores many times as a treat for my parents too. But finally, we had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy the evening here at Cinderella Bakery and Cafe. The fresh baked bread that went with the soups was phenomenal! Chewy, soft and perfect for pairing with the soups. Of course, I had to get the beef pies, the piroshkis, the Napolean, and the honey cake! I would love to purchase the fresh bread right there in the future. It is totally different fresh and totally worth it. Service was wonderful too! There was a long line, so plan ahead or order takeout as many do.

First time trying Russian baked goods, and it did not disappoint one bit! Prices were great, and everything was perfectly filling! Desserts and savory baked goods were both equally delicious. I would definitely recommend any of the piroshkis and the borsch, as well as any of the desserts (especially the honey cake as it's not too sweet and just right)! Please take the time to check this spot out if you're craving baked goods or want to finally try out some Russian food like I was. Lady at the front desk was a joy as well, and I can guarantee you'll be satisfied with its lovely decor and sitting area outside.

Stopped for lunch before wandering Golden Gate Park. The fried piroshki with beef was the best. We also got a bowl of pelmeni in broth. Those were very delicious. Really flavorful. The broth was excellent.

I've been coming here frequently lately, and this place never disappoints. They offer great coffee, pastries, sit-down meals, and to-go items. This place feels like a visit to your grandma's house, where she cooks your favorite childhood dishes. For my fellow Eastern Europeans, there are many familiar items, and for those new to the cuisine, there's so much to explore. I'd highly recommend trying the piroshky--both the meat and vegetarian options. My favorites are the mushroom and the green onion with egg. Among the entrées, you can't miss the borscht, and if you're a fan of hearty, meaty dishes, go for the solianka (though be aware it has pickles for a sour kick). And of course, don't skip the pierogies and dumplings!
