I got a 2 plate combination. they don't let you get half and half of fried rice and chow mein, I chose chow mein, the last packed it fairly decent amount of noodles thankfully. and I got broccoli beef, she at first stuffed it with all broccoli and like 1-2 pieces of beef but thankfully looked at it and fairly added a couple small pieces of meat. I also got the orange chicken. the food was decently warm as it was under the heat lamp but not bad. the orange chicken out layer was a bit soggy but honestly not bad. the broccoli beef was good, my favorite part was the chow mein portion, it was was quite flavorful. The plate was filled decently and fairly for about $14. all and all the food wasn't bad and I had left overs for a little snack later. compared to places like Panda Express, the food was better on the amount of food served for the price. it wasn't hot hot fresh but still tasted good. I gave it 3 starts because of it, I would've given it 3.5 starts but yelp doesn't let you, but overall it was good enough to want to go again due to the fair portion size and have it "to go" as the restaurant doesn't really look upkept in the lobby, and as it's located on Mission st. and is very touristy i'd want to take it to go personally. The service was fair and she was a nice woman in the front.

Wife had leftovers from the previous night. So I've decided to "brown bag" my lunch to my site in the Mission. Every now and then, you need to bring your own meal from home to work. You can't spend money every single day to go out and eat...unless my co-worker pays for my meal. I have meat and vegetables for lunch, but no rice. I need some starch for lunch. So I landed to this small "Hole in the wall" Chinese deli to get something to accommodate my leftovers. The small, but dirty deli has a 1-3 item lunch combo, ranging from $4-$6.00. They also sell single items too. And just by coincidence, one of the cooks just made and brought out a fresh batch of Fried Rice. I took a box of the fresh fried rice for $2.75, which contained rice, peas, carrots, bits of scramble eggs and Barbecue pork. With the lunch combo seeming to be popular, presumably this place goes through a lot of fried rice, and it's always fresh. Considering not many Asians dining here, the friendly ladies were not shy to pack my fried rice into the white box. Maybe my uniform has something to do with the nice treatment. This place is "cash only." I would highly avoid the deli's lavatory, because it's dirty, repugnantly hideous and nasty. There no paper towels and the walls are covered with tons of graffiti. Just get your food and take it "to go".

My friend introduced me to this place and I'm glad that she did. This place has decent food that I like. My favorite is the salt and pepper shrimp. I also tried the curry chicken which was pretty good but the sweet and sour chicken could be improved. They give a large portion too. Nice service.

Confession: Sometimes I like to eat cheap Chinese food. I think 1 item or 2 item combos are fun. You'll find these places in SF. Don't expect too much from fast Chinese food. Today I walked by this place after going to Vive Church. I decided to get orange chicken and it came with lo mein and fried rice. It was edible and better than what I was going to make for myself. Don't expect too much, but you will get an edible Chinese food meal.

Eat here only in case of emergency. The chow mein noodles are typical of these fast food joints: noodles, chicken, cabbage, carrots, and lots of oil. And then after you eat them, you're like "oh my god, what have I done?""Regrets, I've had a few..."

I ate here, I hated it, and it was all my fault. I read the reviews, all of which basically said not to eat here. Regardless, I decided to give them a shot. I thought, "what the heck, i might be pleasantly surprised."Well, I wasn't pleasantly surprised. In fact, I was unpleasant for the rest of the day because I ate this awful crap. For all you yelpers, please don't go here. Try the filipino place down the street, way better.I should note that I did learn a valuable lesson that day: always listen to fellow yelpers ... we know what's up :)

It's not that the food's so bad (it's not great by any stretch), my gripe oddly enough is the portions. The women behind the counter just will not put enough of whatever you order on the plate. My god, both those women pick through that meat as though she were panning for gold before finally begrudging to put a measly few pieces on my plate amidst the pile of crappy rice or oily noodles. If those chinzy women would give up some of the damn food--overpriced, too. $4.54 with tax for rice or noodles and one other item. That said, it's also a grubby dump. Instead of this hole, walk down to Wah Kee (Mission btw 17th & 18th). Food's far better and the friendly woman behind the counter will ensure "everything special for you".
