I've been to City Cafe a few times now and it's pretty convenient. Staff are nice and service is surprisingly fast even though they get busy. I've tried their milk tea, musubi, chicken rice bowl, and popcorn chicken. I'd say the popcorn chicken followed by the rice bowl had the most value. (Note: they give you a lot of rice)

No complaints. Two woman crew and they get the food cooked quickly. I hope they are open for the summer session.

Best part about this place has to be the prices! Comparable to when I was in college several years ago. Teriyaki chicken rice bowl ($7) was a huge portion. It's simple but fills you up. The order came out really fast. They add a small fee for credit cards.

Hmmm... I love that this place exist on campus but I wish they put more care and effort into this place because I believe this place has potential. It depends on what drink you order, some are good and some are just plain'ole awful. The mango and the peach milk tea were awful to me and hard to drink. However, the avocado supreme, banana supreme, mango supreme, litchi milk tea, jasmine milk tea, and almond milk tea were pretty good. The food... let me just say I ordered 3 times from here and I'm just not satisfied. It's mediocre at best. Fairly clean, customer service is subpar. There is a computer screen you can order from which is cool. It takes cards only.

Was here waiting for a friend and decided to try their ice tea. They had a lot of great options in their tea selection. It is not Boba Guys but this place is a legit option. The only thing which was a down side was no almond milk for their coffees. The popcorn chicken was a good snack. Next time I will try their other drink selections.

I ordered the Mediterranean vegetarian (approx. $6) which is a hummus sandwich with roasted red peppers and some other veggies, I am picky about my hummus and this was decent, homemade tasting. The serving size was fairly large. One less star only because I wish this was closer to the visual art building area on the other side of campus and because service is on the slow side.gluten notes: They now offer gluten-free bread for sandwiches, the only place on CCSF campus or nearby that offers this. I'd rather go CCSF City Cafe than Chasing Lions Cafe because of the lack gluten-free options at Chasing Lions Cafe. I am particularly sensitive to gluten and I was worried about cross contamination, but I was also starving and willing to take the risk. I am happy to say I did not get sick and it was pretty good and inexpensive.

I work on campus and thought I'd try out this cafe owned by Quicklys. I ordered buffalo wings and paid and promptly saw the woman pull those large bags of frozen buffalo wings from Costco that my dad buys and heat it in the microwave. The bag from costco is $17.50 for a bulk bag of like 60. I paid $6.50 for 5 frozen wings from Costco! What a rip off.

14 MINUTES BEFORE MY NEXT CLASS, HURRY!!Every time I come here, The only thing I purchase is their sandwiches (served after 10:30AM). They also offer other foods and hot/cold beverages too but I like the mobility of sammiches. The sandwiches are good but most of the time, for the amount you pay ($4-6), are rather small. BTW There's usually a LONG line 10 past the hour so it can take a little while until you can actually place your order. The staff is friendly but sometimes it'll take a good amount of your break time to receive your food. Grilled Chicken Rustica: [http://s3-media2.px.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/IlBgIvESr_Qj-wIDFl-KhA/l.jpg]

Bruh... I ordered popcorn chicken in here and I saw the lady at back (who prepares food orders) took some ALREADY COOKED POPCORN CHICKEN out of their oven toaster... and I even saw her opened a big rice cooker which has a lot of ALREADY COOKED POPCORN CHICKEN as well... Oh they also got some on a big stainless bowl..... No wonder why their popcorn chicken is soggy... they already cooked everything and store it on the oven toaster, rice cooker, and a big stainless bowl...

Has pretty much anything you want. You name it and if they have it, then it is available. Came here a few times before and after class. Great place to relax or study while eating. Also a place to chit chat with friends and classmates. Items range from coffee, soda, vitamin water, clear water, potato chips, candy, cup o' noodle and nachos. Good for breakfast, lunch and snack!Friendly staff members, good food and good service!
