Located inside of Chug Pub in the Sunset, this spot serves up a variety of Mexican food, sandwiches, and wings, with Mexican food being the most prevalent on the menu. We were at Chug Pub to watch a football game and decided that the asada fries were the perfect gametime bar snack. I wasn't even planning on having more than a couple bites, but they were so good that I kept going back for more. Fries were perfectly crispy, and asada full of flavor. Saw lots of people come in just for food and a bunch of delivery drivers picking up as well, so would definitely count this place in for their other items as well. Excited to try something else next time...or get those fries again because yum!

Huge mission style burrito and bean options on the table.Place is half sports bar/restaurant.There is plenty of TV's around and a pool table.Plenty of tables to eat and water to get from the bar.Place got music but games are on mute with subtitles on.Service is quick and didn't miss on my order.Burrito here is huge! Chips are crispy, made fresh and salsa thrown in is a perfect match.Lime and radish, is a veg freshener!Blown away they griddle the burrito together as well, made it crunch texture.Sure place not to miss.I would go back and recommend to someone..

i ordered a regular carnitas burrito for $13 before tax via Yelp/Grubhub. It was a late sunday breakfast and i went to pick it up, and the nice lady who made my burrito told me it's better to order directly from Casa Barajas because Yelp overcharges! She was nice and the burrito was not watery (like chipotle burritos) which was huge for me. Also this restaurant is based inside Chug Pub, which is on the corner of Lincoln and 20th. The bar was empty of course but it looks fun at night when i pass by it. Will come back!

Look, I'm a burrito girl. Mexican food is my love language, and Casa has it in SPADES! We found this place on Yelp cause I'd been jonesin' for a California burrito for about 4 years lol. The guy who took our order was phenomenal. He explained the menu, made the modifications my bf requested, and recommended drinks. Our total was about $30 or so, and our burritos were HUGE (ended up taking half of mine back to the hotel). It's connected to a dive bar, and you get the feeling that at night it's poppin'. Will definitely be back!

I dream of the "Top Shelf" carnitas taco and when I will have another one. Originally, I ordered a crispy taco then decided to go back for something more. They have a few salsa options and I suggest trying all of them. I wouldn't be able to choose between them. Go there, grab a drink from next door!

I doordashed a super burrito, chips & salsa, and a horchata last Saturday night. The only thing they got right was the burrito but it was dry af. They didnt even give me my chips. Instead of a horchata they gave me a bottle of jaritos. Straight scamming sc#mbags. Don't order from here for your late night burrito fix

One of the best carne asada's I've had in San Francisco (includes the Mission). I like mine to taste like it's been grilled over an actual flame, and few places can get that down right. Probably because most just use a gas stove. The flavors are phenomenal. The salsas are actually spicy, the guacamole has just the right amount of onion. They follow instructions flawlessly. 2 things to note: - Super burrito size was not "mission style," it was closer to a bean&cheese burrito size. It was enough to fill me up, but just keep that in mind. Looks like the reviews are inconsistent on it, and sometimes they're bigger. - skip the churros. The caramel sauce is amazing, but the churros were just okay

Picked up some crispy beef and chicken tacos and a fish taco today on my way back from ocean beach. The food did not disappoint. The crispy tacos were absolutely delicious and I loved the fish taco as well. Food was fresh, tasty, seasoned perfectly.Thank you Carmen for chatting with me and recommending the beef tacos! Can't wait to come back and try more!

LatinX series: "You can run, you can hide, but you can't escape my love..." - Enrique Aunque corras, te escondas, no puedes escapar.. my love... Hoy! Seriously how many times have I passed by Casa Barajas and kept on walking. More than a handful that's for sure! A nondescript building in an odd location on Lincoln & 20th Ave. it kind of blends in with it's surroundings. Busy Irving street a block away. I enter to a throwback bar with wooden floors, arcade games, and 80's-90's pop music playing - yes, that cool! When I walked in I was the only one there on a Thursday afternoon. Ese greeted as I approached the bar. I already knew I wanted a Burrito after five straight days of Super Tacos lol! No, I promise I'm not a freak lol, just inspired by LatinX month! Feeling it!The menu is basic Mex on mission street. Yet, when I woke up this morning all I could think about is a Burrito! I order the Carnitas Burrito and Horchata! I had the entire place to myself so I grabbed a table near the windows while I wait for my LatinX food! The music playing was off the hook and made my wait enjoyable! As a few people came trickling in along with a couple takeouts! I was told it would be a 15 minutes wait, however 5 minutes later my Carnitas Burrito with a handful of homemade Tortilla Chips is brought to me. Ohh nice crisp wrap and looking on point! I dig in and notice it's everything I wanted in life. Everything fresh and flavorful! Mmm! I opted out of the Super Burrito option after a several days of Super Tacos across the Bay! The Burrito, tho a tad smaller than in the Barrio, was worth every bit of under $10! The Horchata threw me off the first couple sips as I expected it to be mixed well, but it was not mixed well lol. So the obvious Pre-made batch was refrigerated in plastic cups. After stirring it well it was good enough. In the end, I had a nice dining-in lunch experience at Casa Barajas! Ese who greeted me was pleasant and so happened to be the owner as well! His choice of 80's - 90's pop music worked well with the throwback bar vibe. The food delicious! Just note if you do get the Horchata expect to stir it a dozen times before any sips lol! I can't wait to return with mi Amigas! Te Amo!
