Typically I order takeout from here because its just so quick and easy and still tastes delicious at home.I'm really a fan of their sauce! we get the super ultimate sauce and its perfectly garlicy, tangy, and lemony. Usually I just get the mussels and shrimp but recently we got the snow crab and its a great change from the usual! Their add-ons like sausage, potato, and corn are good too!In fact we keep the sauce for the next day where I can make some more seafood on my own and level it up!

Solid cajun restaurant, nothing crazy. Sauce was bit too sweet for my taste but if you prefer that, then this may be up your alley. Flavors were generally there. Went for a late lunch and there was no wait which was perfect.Need to ask for salt pepper and limes. Prices are better with the combos than buying the individual but they add up pretty quickly. Spent about 205$ for 4 people (combos + 2 drinks + 2 rices). Combo A/B, forgot the sauce name but the one that included everything, medium spice. Crab was pretty sweet but crawfish was frozen given the time of year. Shrimps were jumbo and meaty. Rice is ~3$. The sausage was cut pretty thin. The smoothie we got was fluffy ice and syrup.

Been waiting to try this place as I keep seeing a lot of foodie videos hyping this place up. So I finally got to try it for a late lunch last week.Arrived around 4pm and was pretty much empty so we got seated right away. We ordered garlic noodles and the seafood combo #5 (1lb of shrimp, 1lb of snow crabs and 2 lobster tails). We got it with the Ultimate Sauce which is a combination of their Cajun sauce, garlic butter and lemon pepper sauce. The food came out right away and the combo was very filing. But the sauce was ok to me, wish it was more flavorful. Heads up, they have two locations, one in San Bruno and the other in San Mateo. Apparently, their San Mateo location offers AYCE during the weekdays from 11am-4pm for like $40. Maybe next time, I'll try their AYCE option but with a different sauce.

I was in the area and remembered seeing this place on instagram. I really appreciated the services here and the fact that they give you ALL the things you need to get crackin'! The food was just ok, sauce was a little cold and lacked a bit on flavor. I'd give it another try though!

Kept hearing from social media that this place is good. My boyfriend and I went and we were seated immediately. We ordered garlic noodles, garlic bread, lemon pepper shrimp, and our seafood boil. Garlic noodles had too much butter though, it was almost to the top, so we stopped eating it. My seafood boil had snow crab and sausages and my boyfriends had snow carb, corn and potatoes. We both enjoyed our foodies and dipped out garlic bread into our seafood boil. The flavor was great, glad we stopped here!

Love that their sauce was super saucy!!! The crawfish was big and they provided good service. I only wish their spicy was spicy. But other than that, good quality and flavor.

I enjoyed the clams and the mild sauce. Mild sauce had a spicy kick at the end but did not overpower the garlic flavor. As for the shrimp.. It was average. One bag of shrimp was overcooked to where it was mush. The other bag of shrimp was undercooked. However, I did appreciate they deveined the headless shrimp. The garlic noodles were also average. You can barely taste the garlic. Plus is that the portion was huge. I would return just for the clams.

I booked a birthday reservation for my daughter's 16th here and when we arrived, we got seated right away! The restaurant was very clean and so were their bathroom. Staff were tremendously nice, helpful, accommodating and patient. Overall, you cannot get seafood boil for this price anywhere else, especially in the Bay Area. And the huge parking lot is a PLUS! The restaurant is located in a plaza so theres plenty of parking! I feel this place is definitely slept on, nevertheless, we will be back!SIDENOTE: their heat level for spice is definitely toned down a little bit. So if you like spicy food like myself, definitely go for the spicy or extra! According to my daughter mild wasn't spicy at all to her.

It's official, Cajun Bowl is now on the dinner rotation for my girlfriend and I. When it was raining last week, we wanted something warm and filling so we decided to grab a pound of shrimp, some sausage, and corn in Cajun bowl's super ultimate sauce with the on-fire spice level. We typically go 2lbs of shrimp which we thought was too much, but 1lb was almost enough, so I think next time, go 2lbs and have some leftovers. It's always good to have more than not enough lol. The one new thing we tried was the Cajun fried rice which we got at the spiciest level. Spicy fried rice is hard to find, and this one is really good and actually spicy. This is a must order item for us now. We got it for takeout, and it took less than 10 minutes for the order to be ready. They package everything neatly and give you the bibs and gloves to use at home. If you have leftovers, ask for extra pairs of gloves. For me this is one of the best takeout options because the food stays super hot even when you take it home and doesn't need to be reheated or lose any of its quality.

4.5/5We chose the ultimate sauce (mix of garlic butter and Cajun sauce), medium spicy, for combo #2--shrimp, crawfish and snow crab. For sides we picked potatoes, corn and sausage. It was PLENTY of food for two. Crab crackers, seafood scissors, bibs and one-size-fit-all disposable gloves were provided. The sauce was very good! However garlic was a very prominent flavor in the ultimate sauce, just a heads up for non-fans. We'll probably do straight Cajun sauce next time. For spice lovers, I would go up a notch from what you normally order. Their medium spicy 3/5 seemed relatively mild to me, maybe because it was mixed with garlic butter. The bowl came with so much sauce, it looked like a soup (in a good way). We had plenty to dip the seafood gems into. The potatoes were perfectly cooked-just soft enough to pierce with a fork. The sausage was ok. My husband and I are seafood boil noobies, so we struggled a bit with the snow crab clusters, but we managed! We had a great experience with the restaurant staff. When they took our orders, they repeated everything to make sure they got them right. They were quietly attentive, checked on us a few times and brought extra napkins before we asked. The restaurant was relatively quiet on a Saturday at 1pm. No wait at all. Clean dining area with lots of natural light during the day. They can easily seat large groups of 8 or bigger by combining tables. Overall it's a good place to try a seafood boil! I'll have to try other sauces next time.
