Caffé Mezzaluna

First meal of the year and it didn't disappoint. This cute looking cafe is the perfect spot for brunch and pastries. Friendly staff. Lots of parking space as well. Tried and loved: - fresh squeezed orange juice: at $8 for OJ, I was expecting something spectacular and that is exactly what I received. - margarita pizza: was consumed by my partner and was "very satisfying" - savory crêpe with egg and Swiss cheese: their technique was spot on, but it would have been elevated with more seasoning and perhaps some herbs. To be fair, it is supposed to come with ham which as a vegetarian I asked without because this European can't resist a crepe. - Hazelnut cake: delicious, just the right level of sweetness, creamy. Definitely recommend! This was a great first introduction. Looking forward to more visits.

Everything we got here was so good! Super simple breakfast yet well executed. Cooked and seasoned well, came out quick and service was friendly.

Food and staff it's amazing Travel all the way from Redwood City to enjoy food and atmosphere!

Wow this place is great. The pastries are amazing and they have a full breakfast and lunch menu. Their service is quick and I love how you can just order at the counter and they give you a number. The prices are normal and not outrageous. And there's lots of parking. And when you are done eating you can go to the shops in the mall! They only have one bathroom but it's a small spot. Definitely need to try all their pastries.

I would normally have given this place 5 stars. We eat here 4-5 times a month. Up until recently it has always been exceptional. The last couple of visits have been really subpar. The help has been slow and disinterested verging on rude. I noticed the manager had not been around and am wondering if his absence is the reason for the deterioration in service?

A great cafe that we happened to see after dinner the night before. We had dinner at Mezza Luna the night before and drove around exploring the harbor area when we saw the cafe, assuming they were related and they are. We decided to head there for a late breakfast/early lunch before leaving town. They were very attentive and greeted us upon entering. They have a large menu of breakfast items, sandwiches and pastries. We were surprised at the variety. I had a breakfast bagel and white mocha. Both were excellent. My wife had an omelette that she really enjoyed. The kids loved the pizza. Overall it was a great meal. We went back and we're going to grab a gelato or pastry to take home. But when we walked in the place was jumpin'. We opted to head back home, as we had a drive ahead of us. But we'll definitely be back!

I came here with a group for breakfast, and the gentleman was very nice and quick with service. He looked like he was doing a million things at once and seemed like a great multi-Tasker. With my dairy allergy, I was able to get the fritatta with veggies and a side of fruit for a quick, low calorie protein breakfast. It did come with a side salad, which I thought was slightly odd. But don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of salads. It's not a breakfast item for me personally. **shrugs**Plenty of seating inside and outside, which all areas were really clean. It's even great for a place to post up with your laptop and get some work done remotely. Wished they had some allergy friendly pastries, and at least none of the labels indicated that. I did forget to get a receipt and went back up to the counter, in which they were able to help print out my receipt (I felt so bad since there was a line of people behind me). So, extra stars for going above and beyond!

Visting half moon bay and wanted to try to Caffè mezzaluma(mean half moon in italian) the cappuccino was full of flavor and the canoli was to die for. Do me a favor after you have a good dinner at the pier and if you are a coffe lover then stop by here you won't regret it
