My daughter was at Dance Mission with her dance troupe so I hunkered down here for a few hours to read a book. I had an iced tea which tasted exotic and herbal with a small plate of veggie dolmas. I had a window seat in one of their many old wooden chairs and relaxed as music played, ranging from Middle Eastern to Gipsy Kings. The gentleman running the cafe are friendly, calling me "dear." I never felt the need to rush out and I look forward to returning and trying different menu items.

Not a huge selection of tea or pastries but eh blueberry scone was amazing. Service was quick. A little cluttered, but I would go again. The staff was knowledgeable and they have loose leaf tea .

Such a cute cafe right by the 24th St Bart station. When we went the restaurant was nearly empty, and they have lots of seating options inside and outside. The table we ended up sitting at was actually an old manual sewing machine (with the foot pedal still intact)! I had a fruit smoothie, which was delicious and refreshing.

I've gone to so many coffee shops in the last year, I lose track of where I've gone due to the saturation, but when something unique comes my way I want to be sure to celebrate it as loudly as possible!Cafe la Boheme has one of the friendliest staffs and most welcoming seating areas I've come across.Located in the mission, this can be the perfect stop for a beer or an essential pick up for a coffee. They have plenty of snacks and menu options.I highly recommend the Cardamom ice tea and the Turkish coffee! This is definitely going to be a part of my weekly rotation! With great vibes, a kind staff, and amazing location, how could it not be??

Never been disappointed by this place. Never ever ever. I really enjoy the space's ambience and the music. Great location, busy area. Great prices, like they still cater to old Mission folks. Much appreciated! Lots of seating, plenty of electric outlets for plugging in to do work and a menu with everything from salads to sandwiches, bagels and pastries, smoothies, coffee and tons of loose leaf teas make it so you could comfortably spend a day here working from "home." Why leave?!My only gripe about this spot is the way the man be yellin at his wife, who also works the counter sometimes and is super sweet. I understand culture and context n relationship issues are not my business but it's extremely uncomfortable to witness as a restaurant patron. Not ok. Knockin off a star for the negativity. Hoping it changes

I came to this place as I was passing by. There were a few patrons so I decided it should be okay.Keep in mind there is street parking that you just pay for by phone. This cafe isn't in the best of neighborhoods. This is a quiet cafe with a few people studying/working. The customer service was bad, worse than expected from a small business. The man did not acknowledge my presence for a few minutes. When he did , he asked "what did you want?". He was annoyed when I had a question about a specialty latte. I got an almond milk cappuccino for 5.50. I saw him use Kirkland brand almond milk as he made the drink. The espresso tasted decent, not very strong. Overall, not impressed and disappointed with the service.

This is usually a pit stop for when I am shopping in the area. It's pretty laid back inside . There are decent drink and food options. A good place to meet up with people or just enjoy a coffee.

When I moved to the neighborhood in 1995 I was both vegan and not making enough money to go out much. I came to consider Cafe La Boheme a home space, with the affordable vegan food, plentiful seating, chill vibe, and manager Awad's consistent friendliness. I no longer live in SF but I've dropped by whenever I'm in the neighborhood over the years and-- while the neighborhood has changed-- La Boheme still has good food for good prices, plentiful seating, a chill vibe, and the manager's consistent friendliness. Although the bulletin board no longer has the weird art event fliers and local political handmade signs -- advertising BART fare protests & etc -- everything is a professionally designed & printed poster -- it's still my favorite Mission cafe. I'm so glad it has survived.

This is my favorite study spot, noise level low and middle eastern food choices ( tea, food, and coffee) traditional , excellent quality, and reasonably priced. I also chose to support locally owned snd operated businesses that are being lost to gentrification. This owner operated cafe is a an anchor to the community and has donated time, space and money to non- profits and activism for decades!
