Was suggested to try out this spot, so glad I did. Hands down, the crispy duck sammy hit so hard. The tenderness of meat was yummy. The bread was fresh and crunchy but soft enough to devour. Good size sammy for lunch unless you like sharing it with another. Overall the combo of slaw and duck, ughhh say less. I took order to go but there is a good amount of seating indoors. Menu has such a variety, will come back to try more. Service was prompt and didn't have to wait too long for order.

Ordered the shaken beef rice plate and was very surprised that for $21.85 on Grubhub how little you get. I understand food costs have gone up but it was very questionable. I used to order from here a lot during the beginning of COVID and I know the food is tasty but definitely skip the shaken beef rice plate.

The crispy duck banh mi is delicious! My brother kept telling me to go to this place to try that and I totally get why now. It was so delicious and the duck was cooked so well. I crave it all the time! The service was great - when we ordered they were very efficient and nice! The restaurant has plenty of seats as well. This is for sure one of my favorite spots in downtown SSF!

I tried the crispy duck sandwich and the jackfruit shake. The shake had a sufficient amount of jackfruit in it. I love how it's well blended because I don't like the pieces. My 3 year old liked it too! The sandwich had enough of the crispy duck and the sauce and veggies made it all well fit together. Service is nice and great as well! Plenty of space to sit while you wait for your order to go!

My go-to spot for garlic noodles, banh mi and vermicelli bowls. Their food and pho are so tasty! Service is decent, as it takes time to create the perfection that comes out of their kitchen. So lucky I live close by!

I came here to order some sandwiches for a friend and I to eat as we planned to hang out at Orange Park. It's super casual, so great for picking up something really quick! This places fantastic Vietnamese sandwiches - probably one of my all time top spots for Vietnamese sandwiches! I love Vietnamese sandwiches. The bread is not too hard, yet still crispy. And I think this places really stands out in their ingredients for the sandwich filling. The way they do it, first of all, it has great flavor, and secondly, they do it in a way where the filling doesn't fall out as i eat. The bread almost maintains a shape of being dug in to better support the ingredients. Another thing about their bread is that it's not vegan friendly, which is no issue for me, but I know some people have dietary restrictions. The service was really great too! I always appreciate when the workers remember faces and orders. The lady who took orders was also responsible for handing out the orders, and she was passing out our orders to each person without needing to call and ask for our order numbers. It's not a huge deal if a service worker needs to confirm, I just feel that much valued as a person with this treatment, as opposed to being just a number .

This is the go to spot when I want a refreshing bowl of vermicelli noodles. I only order take out and parking can be a little tough since it's street parking or pay in the lot next door. I usually get the 5-spice chicken or the grilled pork vermicelli bowl and the ingredients are always so fresh. I would say it's even shareable between 2 people if you don't want to be too full.

Went for LunchFood - 4/5. The meat on the banh mi was tender and uniformly cut. Every piece was similar in size and thickness, letting every bite have all the flavors. Vegetables were crunchy with a nice mixture of sweet and sour and the bun was soft. While I enjoyed the visual of the open sandwich look, it was very cumbersome to eat. The vegetables overflowed getting all over the plate and it ended up being very messy. Crunchy nem rolls were a fun texture experience. The savory meat, chewy wrap, crispy roll, soft noodles, and crunchy vegetables made for a pleasant chewing experience but flavor wise, I didn't taste much. Garlic noodles had plenty of garlic and a good bite. Lemongrass steak had a good aroma but could've used more sear and wok hei to intensify the meat flavor.Service - 3/5. Ordering with the cashier was fine but the server really lacked awareness. She didn't bring the proper amount of utensils, avoided contact as much as possible and never cleaned up the table. We made it very clear that we are done and even stacked the plates to put into a corner but it was ignored. Not really sure why she chose to be so aloof as the restaurant was not busy.Value - 4/5. Pricing is fair with most banh mi and appetizers being in the low 10s and garlic noodles being in the high 10s. Portion sizes were good and the food was fine. Service made me feel slightly miffed since payment is done in the beginning, but not to the point of affecting my choice to dine here again.Parking - Street/Municipal Garage (Metered)

Not sure what happened here but the bun mi sandwiches do not taste as good as before! They also up charged everything so most of their items like the regular combo banh mi, Buddha tofu banh mi, and the imperial rolls all cost $12.50. I understand when a recession happens and things get pricier. However, when the food quality goes down, customer service is not great, and the portions get a lot smaller but the items get more pricey, it is hard to justify why I would continue to support that kind of business when there are so many better banh mi sandwiches in the Bay Area for cheaper. Parking here is hard too as it is mainly metered parking and in a busy downtown area of SSF. Restaurant is big but very dead and quiet. I definitely prefer the Richmond location in SF as everything over there including the customer services seems better and a bit more lively. Workers here seem to wear their emotions that they do not want to be there and are not happy. Maybe it is an off day but the quality of food definitely went down. Even for the Buddha tofu banh mi, there is barely any tofu and lemon grass sauce. Tofu, in comparison, to protein meat, is a lot cheaper. Instead of tofu pieces, they stuffed the sandwich with lots of pickled carrots. Not worth $12.50 for sure. Probably will not be back for a while.
