Took Bart because it was the only feasible choice. As you walk out of Powell station you'll see this place. Decided to get a coffee. Credit card minimum is 8 , either order large coffee or buy some food, a bit inconvenient but oh well. Coffee and service were quite good . Hard to sit down with panhandling at bar by station . I do recommend the place, i recommend buying the combo to avoid the extra fee of under 8 dollars, take it to go preferably. 4.5/5

I did not eat here but I've probably passed it at least a hundred times. It's always clean and cute and smells good. I'm usually in a hurry when I pass by because it's right outside Powell (my favorite) station and tbh I'd feel guilty buying food from there with so many unsheltered around. Basically seeing and knowing how many right next to it are hungry. Otherwise it's in a prime location for travelers, tourists, and mall shoppers.

I like this spot. Nothing fancy of course but the food is very well done and seems good quality and quantity. I came here twice for a egg and bacon sandwich, and I will come back again when I'm in the area.

Cable Car Coffee is by the Muni at Powell Market. It's been here a while and it's funny and serves breakfast sandwiches and smoothies..etc..I decided to get something and it's murky and strange..fun San Francisco!

this place is special. I was attracted by the look of it but in all honesty didn't expect much. got a hot link with everything on it - absolutely sensational. came back two days later and got a pastrami and cheese sandwich, I'm floored in an entirely different way. This place absolutely rules, I really can't recommend it enough. a treasure.

Surprisingly tasty and affordable. Got a 16oz coffee with a egg & cheese bagel sandwich (+ avocado and tomato) for $13. The sandwich was REALLY good. Light and fluffy eggs, cheesy, well held-together with the bagel. It was a little messy, but very tasty. The coffee was a little bitter, but $3 is a good deal. Definitely worth a stop on the North side of Market st by the Powell St station entrance.

Exceptionally nice service with a smile that's rare. The latte I had was nice and smooth. The ham, egg, and cheese bagel has a home style feel to it that I needed today when visiting the city. Thanks!

This is a cute coffee/sandwich spot in the Benjamin H. Swig Pavilion (SF Visitor Center), a small lower level plaza in Union Square along Market Street. They have a huge variety of menu items and it was perfect for what we were looking for, basically coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The croissant sandwich with egg, cheese, and sausage was soft, warm, cooked perfectly, and so satisfying in the morning. And washed down with an iced mocha coffee drink not too sweet just perfect, I was happy!!! There's a bit of spaced-out tables and seating out front, but we took our goodies to go. Friendly service, cute cable car shaped storefront. What a great find near our hotel to start off our day (Super Bowl Sunday)!

10/10 recommend. Didn't have any expectations buying from them, but their bagel was delicious! Nice crispy bacon and they didn't skimp on ingredients. I enjoyed every bite. I've always just passed by them without a second thought. Will come back again.
