"RT Rotisserie has me hooked. I've lost count, but this might've been my 7th (8th?) chicken rice bowl--I genuinely can't get enough. Obsessed is an understatement. And somehow, even though it's always solid via takeout, dining in just takes it to a whole new level. The chimichurri sauce especially--it hits different fresh at the table, bright and punchy in all the right ways.Casual spot, chill vibes--order at the counter, find your own seat, nothing fussy. My friend grabbed a side of fries, and honestly, those were pretty great too. Bonus: their ice cream is surprisingly good, so save a little room if you can.TL;DR: Chicken rice bowls are a must (duh), dine-in if you want the full flavor experience, and don't sleep on the fries or ice cream."
"If there's one thing I know, it's that San Jose in the state of California has thee best pho - without a doubt. Knowing that the Vietnamese community is so strong here - Their soup has be cooking none stop for that deep broth that a lot of other places strive for but within a shorter cooking time. This place, the ambiance is golden. Beautifully picturesque, clean, spacious, and organized - we absolutely knew we were in for a whole 'nother experience that what we've been privy to. When we first got there, the staff was super nice and was able to seat us as soon as we walked in the door. The servers were especially patient with us as we needed some time to look over the menu (we did not know about the hype) and was able to order the San Jose Bowl with additional bone marrow and ribs, Cowboy Pho with side of boneless ribs, and a few drinks. I did not know that the additional ribs would be so huge! I thought that they brought us both orders of ribs and mistakenly forgot about the boneless ribs but when they came back with the boneless ribs I was shocked at how much food I had ordered! The bone marrow. WOW. That gave the soup another level of texture! Let's not forget about the broth, so deep and flavorful. Don't even dare drench that bowl of soup with sauces until you taste the soup. I can't stop thinking about this soup. It was rememberable!"

"I ordered delivery from The Thonglor on a recent trip to San Francisco and it did not disappoint... I had a green curry dish with tofu + veggies and jasmine rice.Delivery was fast and efficient and they met me in the lobby of my hotel.I would have liked a bit more eggplant in the dish, but it was delicious, affordable, and more than enough food for me.I would absolutely order again and also hope to dine in in the future."
"Overall , I really enjoyed this restaurant. They have sweet and friendly service. Very attentive and helpful. When asking to take my soup to go, they made sure to give me 2 containers so my soup wouldn't soak up all the broth. I got the number 3 . I really enjoyed the seafood soup with egg noodles! It was savory and satisfying. I enjoyed it reheated the next day as well . For me , the fried shrimp appetizer was pretty bland.Overall, I would highly recommend a visit for the seafood soup and I am excited to try more dishes here"
"Consistently excellent. Fresh food, great portions and priced right. We love ordering take away since the ambiance inside is a bit lacking. It more than makes up for it in taste. Our go-to orders are fried rice, chicken and broccoli, cheese wontons, kung pao and chow mein. YUMKeep supporting this small neighborhood business! Your tummy will be happier for it!"
"I came across Luke's Lobster on Yelp when checking out spots to enjoy while on my recent visit to SanFran. I'm not usually a lobster roll kinda girl, but it's only been because I hadn't had 'the one' yet. I didn't love the cold concept and the warm version I had wasn't 'it'. But when I read reviews for Luke's, I knew it was worth checking it out.My hotel was located in Union Square which isn't super far from this location so I figured it'd make a nice dinner in my hotel and a great way for me to get my steps in. When I visited on an early Friday evening, there was one guy sitting and enjoying his food and two team members in the back. Pretty quiet for a Friday but no complaints from me! Despite reviewing the menu dozens of times before I went in, I still didn't know what I wanted, lol. The staff was so patient and kind, I'm sure they were wishing that I'd hurry up and order! I finally decided to go with the combo including a small lobster roll, a bowl of clam chowder and a drink. I had my heart set on the lobster bisque but the gentleman who rang me up promised me that it'd be some of the best clam chowder that I've ever had. Sold. The price felt like a down payment on a home, but eggs are like $25 these days so my girl math made it even. I was tempted to stay and enjoy the peace of the restaurant but decided to walk back to my hotel.I was so happy to get back to my hotel and realize that my chowder was still warm - yay! Let me say. The guy at Luke's was not lying, it was some of the best clam chowder that I've ever had. If not #1, then #2. It was so flavorful, not too thick or thin, it was filled with clams and potatoes. Wow. I need it shipped to me by the barrel. And the roll! I was so upset when I realized that I neglected to ask for one of their special butters but whew, it was awesome without it. I barely got good pics because I was so hungry. The bread was so buttery and soft. They were incredibly generous with the lobster, like, was there a sale on lobster meat? How can they just pack it on like that? lol Whatever, I didn't have any of these questions at the time because I was too busy stuffing my face with lobster roll. Seriously worth every single dime. I wish I would have brought some chowder back with me to Atlanta!"
"I never go here in person so i can't comment of their ambience or service but the food is fantastic and soooooo affordable I order this at least once a week because it's such a healthy and delicious dish and I can't get enough of it."
"I'm not usually big on Chinese food because of the salt and oil. I have to say that not one dish we ordered was overly salty and had little to no oil. The sauce was silky and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. Delicious"
"This review is for catering. I got garlic noodles, five spice chicken, imperial rolls, summer rolls and papaya salad. It was all delicious and hot and fresh exactly at the time ordered. The full tray of garlic noodles and chicken was such a deal. I fed 50 people for $500 and had loads of leftovers. Everyone was so happy."
"So much fun! We came in on a Friday night to celebrate a friend's birthday, and there was a DJ playing music and karaoke. The food and drinks were delicious and service was amazing! They even gave us a round of shots on the house! Will definitely be back soon!"
"Both of us got the signature Beef Mifen. The broth and flavor profile was quite mid.Not sure how others are giving it rave reviews.Maybe it helps that we're asians ourselves as we have a wider range of dishes we've experienced. This is me literally trying to rationalize/understand the high reviews this place received. If it was this alone, i wouldve given this place a 3, but the extra star deduction comes from the fact that the server was standing right next to me when i was paying at the POS and just kept staring at the screen. This is the ONLY reason why i lowered my original tip. After he saw this, his kind demeanor went from kind/positive to well, just the opposite. Cmon my guy, back tf up. Tipping culture just makes ppl dumb."
"The restaurant is very big. Lots of seating. The dolsot bibimbap to me lacked flavor despite adding gochujang. The rice however was perfect with the nice crispy rice on the bottom. Dolsot Bimbimbap with beer was almost $30.00. We'll probably not go here frequently due to the prices."

RT Rotisserie exceeded my expectations. We've been here a few times previously for their chicken. The chimichurri sauce is nothing less than awesome. This time we had their salad $10.50, rice bowl w/fried chicken $15.75, fries $6.50, cauliflower $9.50, fat rice $5.25, brussel sprouts $6.50 and a whole chicken $24. Everything was fine. The standout dish was the brussel sprouts. It thought they fried it but it wasn't. It was roasted. Service was excellent.

We came by during a busy time of the evening. There's usually a person waiting at the door who calls our names from the sign in checklist they have on the counter to the right of the entrance. Parking is shared and depends on how busy other stores are in the same plaza. We parked directly in front of their beautiful Parklet patio and it has good outdoor lighting. It's also the same with the interior with the decorative lighting. We ordered the Smoke Brisket pho and the baby back ribs rice plate. We got our dishes within 5 mins and they were delicious! I didn't know mixing smoke brisket into pho is a different take on pho that I've never knew. I'm coming back here to make it as my new regular pho location to visit!

Thonglor has Thai food that comforts the soul. Every time I have been while on the smaller side the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and the food has consistently been great. The last time I went we decided to order the eggplant veggie stir-fry. The eggplant veggie stirfry was tasty and packed with notes of basil - yum! Can't wait to go back and highly recommend stopping by if you are around Union square!

Cold night, had a taste for Mapo Tofu and other Yelpers were right that this Sunset District spot, Szechuan Cuisine, does Mapo Tofu so, so well.I found myself trying to deconstruct the dish: Green Sichuan peppercorns, a dollop of black bean sauce, a scant bit of cumin? It kept me guessing.I could've gone up in heat level from the medium I ordered. I wanted a mouth-numbing mala feel which I'm sure they'd accommodate. Yeah man, I can take your heat, bring it! As good as the Mapo Tofu was, the Dan-Dan noodles disappointed: The sauce didn't coat the noodles like other Yelpers' photos of the dish and the flavor lacked depth. But just like that, the pork chili wontons pulled me back in, amazing. Hot in both temperature and spiciness, their juiciness dusted with dry chili powder had my eyes fly open while reaching for the serving spoon to grab two more.Service was friendly and sweet. They promptly refilled water glasses and conversed with my son in Mandarin. Note to those sensitive, they do use MSG and I drank more water to offset a headache I felt beginning to lurk behind my eyes. (Worth it, that's why they make Exedrin)

I was hoping to eat there, but it's take our only. The woman who helped me was so nice, wonderful customer service. The food was amazing, cooked hot and fresh. Pretty good for a quick Korean lunch in this area. Love the galbi lunch for myself. When I used to come with friends, they like to order one of the Haemul sundubu-jjigae 해물 순두부찌개 (spicy seafood soft tofu stew soup) and have it with rice. We usually share our picks and that makes for a pretty satisfying meal. In the TL close to City Hall, Asian Art Museum, and the Main Library.

I haven't ordered the food here yet BUT I have stopped in for the boba many times. They have such a unique boba tea menu from mango pomelo sago to tiramisu lattes along with regular boba tea options as well. I'm way more impressed with their boba tea menu and quality than Boba Guys right across the street. There is also a convenient little kiosk at the front where you can input your order which is nice if you're an introvert, are indecisive, or have anxiety ordering things (lol). My only complaint is that I've tried ordering the boba online for pick up a couple of times and the system hasn't worked for me. I'll input my order, get ready for check out, and as soon as I input my card and press finish it says "oops there is an issue". I tried a few different cards (and know my credit cards are fine) and it still does this. Not sure if that's an issue on my end with internet, etc. but it's happened a couple of times. So I'll mostly just order in person and it's fine. The restaurant side has a mom and pop family feel to it. I'll have to try the food sometime soon!

"Omg this place was incredible!!! The noodles, the broth, the meat--all delicious. Well-priced and a really cute atmosphere for a tinier spot. Workers were so nice, and as I was a visitor, I would definitely stop here again if I visit the area. Highly recommend"
"Great Phō!Went in for vermicelli dish (my go to) but ended up getting phō instead as I was feeling a bit under the weather and it was quite flavorful. Prices are reasonable and service was great!!"
"I am so happy to write this review and say thanks to everyone at oodle for making the experience a memorable one that makes me want to return and eat this delicious food. I've already started thinking about what I haven't tried yet, but I want to add to the next order. The owner was very friendly and able to explain to me why his place was so unique compared to others I've been to. One of the things is the focus on true flavors and not having your mouth overpowered with herbs and spices so you can enjoy the noodles and the sauces without it burying the Wonderful flavors that come together here.Every table that I saw around me had a huge bowl of soup on it, and mine was no exception. Plus, I ordered some sides. I wanted to try everything. I was impressed by the texture, presentation, flavors, complexity, and being able to try something new that I haven't tried before. I believe my wife and I had the Union style rice rolls the deep fried silky, tofu, and the chicken rice noodle soup. Everything was incredibly wonderful and I can't wait to try the spicy next time. We also tried the hot ginger milk tea and I had the 80% sweet and she had the regular and we loved it."
"The definition of a 'hidden gem', Lou's is tucked away in a small alcove that's easy to miss. In the middle of the Financial District, it's the perfect place to grab a lunch - just make sure you come before noon to avoid the rush. Due to the small staff, it can take a bit of time to get your food. The sandwiches themselves are fantastic, with a wide range of options from classics like the Roma Club and Tuna Melt to the more adventurous Hot Link and Loquito sandwiches, you can't go wrong. Make sure to get everything on it, including the Lou's special sauce, which is what elevates the sandwiches above your standard fare by adding a savory/sweet/spicy kick to every bite. With each sandwich being around $13, it's also a great deal for the size you get, especially in SF. If you're looking for the next lunch spot to impress your friends and coworkers, this is it."

"I came across the spot on yelp because we were craving clay pot rice and stopped by on a Sunday morning. To my surprise, my party were the only people in the store for a while. The restaurant seems to be a family owned business as I only saw one lady working and one man cooking in the back.We ordered two different clay pot rice, which the waiter said are the most popular orders here. The first one was a combo option that had chicken, yellow eel, and duck. The second one was a sausage and pork. Personally, I thought that the clay pot itself was quite bland in flavor , there was not much flavoring in the rice itself, and I thought that the proteins were not the highest quality as if it had been sitting around for a little while. I do appreciate that they serve the dish in a sizzling, hot bowl however I was expecting there to be much more crunchy crispy rice at the bottom. Unfortunately, both of my bowls only had a couple pieces of crispy rice, even though we let it sit in this sizzling pot for a while before Eating. The dish is also served with a side soup which seem to be a broth with bean curd skin and carrots, I really enjoyed this. It was simple but a good side to have with the rice. Overall, it was a decent place to satisfy my cravings, but with so many other options in San Francisco, I hesitate whether I would return."
"So after long walks around clement and we parked our car in front of this place and I crave for pho, we went inside and greeted immediately with lady and we seated, place looks very eathy not fancy but like you came to Vietnam restaurant. I ordered hot tea which I am happy with it, we ordered number 52 I'm not a fan of it the pickles young papaya and Carrots so chunky feel like pickles soup. Number 26 Pho has a good flavor and sliced steak, I can't imagine two of us eating it till almost gone, I was about to bring home little broth left but my friend said no no. We sat near kitchen and cashier register so you can hear those employee chat in Vietnam language."
"I ordered a rice bowl. It was tasty. The restaurant was empty and when I walked in to pick up the food no was there to greet me. I had wait like 3 minutes until someone came out from the kitchen area to get me order. The restaurant was cute."
"Trying Porridge & Things in Millbrae for the first time was a delightful experience. Located just 7 minutes from SFO, the temperature here is noticeably cooler than the East Bay, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a hot meal. The porridge, served in a large clay pot, was piping hot and packed with fresh scallops, dried scallops, and diced beef. The flavors were fantastic, and it came with a variety of condiments like green onions, black olives, and dried pickled vegetables to enhance the taste. We also tried their stir-fried beef noodles, half chickens, and pan-fried chive dumplings. Each dish was delicious and added to the overall enjoyable dining experience. Service is quick, noted that street parking is not easy."
"The food here is delicious! Its honestly better than Tangbar in stonestown because its a little cheaper and they have more soup options! The service was great because they were very nice and answered our questions the best they could. The ambiance is quiet and clean because not many people know about this place. The outside could look dim and empty but i assure you its not as bad as what you think! i have been going here for years and I hope they still stay open since this is a staple place for some good noodle soup. I really like the idea of customizing whats in my bowl because I can be picky. Also another thing i like about this place is that they have a sauce bar!!! I really enjoy making all my sauces to use as a dip. I can't say enough to please give this place a try and tell others as well!!"
"Food (5/5)XLB were terrific. Highly recommend the hot & spicy if you can handle it, the spice level is medium. The soup inside had a lot of flavor and I loved the ratio of dumpling, pork, and soup.String beans were also amazing! The pan fried pork buns were delicious, similar flavor to the XLB but with an interesting crispy texture on top. The ginger & scallion noodles were fine, would skip them next time.Service (5/5)Waited around 15 minutes for a table. Service was fast and attentive, you order via a QR code on your phone then pay with a standard check at the end. Not my favorite experience but it was quick and worked.Ambiance (4/5)The restaurant is medium sized and has a good amount of seating. It was on the louder side but the music was pleasant and vibes are good. You can see some of the cooks making the XLB depending on where you're seated. Will be coming back to have more dumplings, string beans, and try some other dishes."
"Friendly staff and clean! But let's talk about the real star here: the dumplings. The menu offers a great variety, and every single dumpling I tried was perfection. Got the steamed mushroom and fish & zucchini and egg dumplings, and the chive pancake was deliciously shaped like a hot pocket. My order arrived quickly and steaming hot.I'm surprised this place doesn't have more ratings!"
"I order Papa's kitchen at least once a week shamelessly I really adore this place and their food is sooo delicious and comforting. My favorites to order are the house wonton soup and dry fried garlic spareribs!"
"Lately, it's been cold and rainy which calls for Chinese comfort food...but healthy Chinese comfort food that's stewed and steamed. I mean, I would eat HK baked pork chops smothered with creamy tomato sauce and melty cheese on the regular but acid reflex is no joke the older you get. The Soup opened in the summer 2022 with takeout, delivery, and indoor dining available.M E N U Small menu with about 20 items. "My wife and I frequent this place whenever a craving hits us for a nice, piping hot bowl of Pho or a Crispy Ban Mi. The restaurant itself is always clean and well kept. This place is run by a wife and husband couple, and they're extremely pleasant and genuinely nice people. Their staff are efficient and fast when it comes to making the food. I've tried about half of what's on their menu so far, but my favorite dish by far has to be their combo Ban Mi. The bread is flaky and crispy on the outside while being soft and cloud-like on the inside. The pate is so good I always ask for extra. It must be said that they really load up the sandwiches with a ton of meat, making it an even more worthwhile choice. On a cold day, nothing beats their rare beef Pho. I always get the small size and they really hook it up with a generous amount of noodles and meat. The broth is always that perfect balance of savory and sweet. Lastly, I'd recommend their Five Star Rice plate, simply because it has a little bit of every kind of protein in it: shrimp, chicken, pork, egg, and a mound of rice. Do not sleep on this place! If you like good Vietnamese food, then you gotta try Pho Cafe."
"Yummmmmm. After our usual grocery shopping trip for vegetables on Clement, my spouse and I decided that it was time for dinner and since it was very cold, we thought soup would be the best option. We came upon M Pot while walking back to our car and decided to stop by for dinner. The restaurant is small but has a lot of seating. The service is quick and the person who helped us get settled was very nice. They have a variety of options for veggies, meats, seafood and noodles. I got a mix of veggies, some fish ball with roe, tofu and yam noodles. The minimum weight is about .80lb and for that amount of weight, it is a pretty good amount of items in the bowl of soup. There are 5 broths to choose from: beef bone, tomato, laksa, yom tum and pork and you pick which level of spice you want. I opted for the medium while my spouse got the extra spicy- he was very brave but also, the heat was evident based on the sweat on his forehead. We both got the classic beef bone broth and picked the items we wanted. The food was great and just what we needed on this chilly evening! They have a sauce station which had a few options but were very complementary to the soup. We will need to come back to try the other soup bases!"
"Excellent chowder! I'm surprised it took me this long to find out about this place. Their Boston clam chowder is super tasty, creamy, full of clam and bacon. Definitely lick-the-spoon-worthy; sop up any remnants in the bowl using their soft, buttery, doughy sourdough bread.Their bread bowl is huge and further seasoned with old bay (?) and butter, which really kicks up the clam chowder bread bowl ($16) to another level. More than enough for a meal for 1 person. The CT style lobster roll ($25) was meh, I'll pass for next time and stick with the namesake chowder. Too much celery, not pure lobster and butter per the usual CT lobster roll. (Unless they got my phone order wrong--they spoke English but not 100% fluently.)If you like Boudin's chowder, Boudin's is like canned soup compared to Scott's. Definitely worth going out of your way on a chilly foggy SF day."
"This place produces excellent Banh Mi, Egg Rolls, and Pho. The people are professional and pleasant!"
"I just chronicled my utensil-free experience with this operation under the entry for their joint salad partner, Saucy Greens (review: https://bit.ly/3ZyV3AR). In brief, the shop at the corner of Leavenworth and Union is a bustling spot for delivery services and local residents. I came here to try a salad bowl, but I was also drawn to the menu of this business because c'mon, soup and salad...That's an inevitable combo. Truth be told, I was probably enamored more with Soupchu's menu than Saucy Greens'. I decided on the comfy-cozy $10.50 Chicken Bone Broth Soup which was chock full of couscous, carrot, celery, lemon, fresh dill, and shards of fresh chicken breast (photo: https://bit.ly/3YIpMKr). Sure, it was deliciously homestyle and plentiful in portion. It went well with the Vibrant Salad I got from Saucy Greens. However, the absence of a spoon made it a challenge. The problem was that they forgot my utensils despite my asking them. I had rolled downhill to Francisco Park and basically had no energy to go back up. Once I pleaded for a spoon at a cafe on Polk, I finally found a place to eat my soup. "4.5 STARSThe most unphotogenic dishes can be the most damn delicious ones.Tweezied food with flowers and gold flakes have their place but when I want humble, comfort food, gimme me the chow hall looking HK Baked Pork Chop. And gimme, Menudo full of tripe and pata. It's Monday and I had a mad craving for Menudo which is usually a weekend thing so the next closest thing...Mondongo!At first, I was kinda iffy on Honduras Kitchen because there's only 2 reviews. And, supposedly...they've been open for 7 years?!There's SO many mom and pop owned, Central American restaurants in The Mission, Bernal, Excelsior, and Crocker Amazon that doesn't get much love on Yelp which is sad. Honduras Kitchen def needs some love because the Mondongo is BOMB!I was working from home and couldn't get out so I ordered delivery via UberEats. My food arrived piping hot in about 40 minutes. My only feedback is to bag the soup container since there was leakage.F O O D* Regular Baleadas w/ refried beans, sour cream, cheese ($3.50)I didn't get to try it because it was missing from my order.* Cholutecana Baleadas w/ refried beans, sour cream, cheese, scrambled eggs, avocado ($4 each)The first time I tried Baleadas, I fell in love with this Honduran street food. Think, a huge soft breakfast taco made with a thick, handmade flour tortilla. They hella pack their baleadas with mashed beans, eggs, and avocado (a bit underripe) so one is enough for a meal. While good, I prefer the Baleadas at El Honduras in The Mission....their flour tortilla has more of that satisfying chew.* Mondongo: Tripe Soup w/ rice, handmade tortillas ($13): https://bit.ly/3EZ17bMI've tried Mondongo several times and it never quite hit like Menudo for me...until now.The Mondongo was chockfull of tender honeycomb tripe and meltingly soft pig's knuckles. It was too hot to handle but there was lots of collagen-rich goodness on the other side of bone in my pic. The broth was hella good...what makes it a little different than the others I've tried is the nutty creaminess from the coconut milk. There was also two pieces of sweet corn, carrots, and chayote (like a cross between a cucumber and squash). The rice was perfectly cooked, slick and chewy, not mushy. Handmade corn tortillas were thick, chewy, and pliable. Not only was this meal cheap and damn delicious....it lasted me 3.5 meals. Ok, so technically, it's not cheap after the service fees and tip but that's on me and the price of convenience.Overall, I'm glad I gave Honduras Kitchen a try because I've found my fav Mondongo in the city!"
