"I went here for Valentine's day. I highly recommend the spring garlic pappardelle pasta!! I never knew spring garlic could have so much flavor and complement the pasta and the tender wagyu meat. The pizza was amazing as well, but I didn't enjoy the Funghi pizza as much. The clash of flavours was overwhelming. I opted for a lighter dessert option after indulging in carbs, as the desserts at this establishment are exceptional. The gelato and sorbet will definitely help with that, and it is delicious! Great spot for date night!"
"CyBelle's, however you pronounce it, has the best vegan pizza in San Francisco. I don't know whether its their own recipe or a product they found, but the vegan cheese is way above what fake cheeses normally provide. They also make their own vegan pepperoni, and they also offer a vegan cashew pesto sauce which is delicious. We usually get half pepperoni & half Chicken-On-The-Green, made with vegan chicken, natch. They apparently have a bunch of other vegan items like sandwiches, mac n "cheese", etc; but I am still so thrilled to have a proper pizza again after so many years that that's all I order. It's not 100% vegan, don't worry meat-heads. I'm sure their non-vegan food is as top notch as their vegan options. You can tell that they take pride in their food. Please check them out, and be aware that the restaurant is usually not so crowded that you can't get a table any night, though I hope that changes because I want CyBelles to be around at least until I die."

"I came here with around a dozen people on a Friday afternoon, and there was plenty of seating available in the back area of the rustic-decorated restaurant. We ordered a few large pizzas including the Hot N' Honey and A Loading Dock, and we also had a person Hot N' Honey pizza for our group. The workers were very helpful in getting us seated and being out the plates and utensils before our pizza was served. Our group quickly finished all pizzas available on the table. We all stated that the Hot N' Honey pizza was the best pizza there and that we would have all been satisfied had we ordered only Hot N' Honey pizzas for the whole table. While their other pizzas were also satisfying, I would love to come back for the Hot N' Honey pizza specifically at Long Bridge Pizza every time."
"I came around 10am on a Monday morning and most of the bakery items were still available. It's a mostly self service bakery, you get to pick and bag your own items. I tried the chocolate croissant, walnut sourdough, this caramelized onion sourdough roll(?), chocolate chip cookie, and a sourdough round. Their sourdough bread is very good, not overly sour like some sourdoughs I've had. The cookie was pretty good, though very sweet. The chocolate croissant seemed a little bit stale when I got it unfortunately, though we did go to the bakery at a later time. Overall I really do like this bakery for their sourdough, and they even sell pizzas which I would like to try my next visit."
"I had dinner here with a couple of friends and it was my first time. We ordered the San Daniele pizza, paccheri, and the spaghetti di mare. The pasta dishes we ordered were perfectly al dente. The paccheri was a bit salty. The San Daniele pizza was cooked perfectly and was well balanced. The service here was friendly and attentive. The interior has a sophisticated feel with the slightly dim lighting."
"We attended a friend's birthday party here tonight with about seven other families and I was really surprised at how fantastic it was. They reserved a large area of the restaurant just for our group and set the pizzas and salads out buffet style on the bar area for us to self-serve. The kids enjoyed the arcade area while the adults got to chat. It was our first time at Zorba's and the pizza and wings were really delicious. The party platter of wings was humongous and there was a ton of pizza leftover. They also let the host bring in their own ice cream cake. I would have never thought of this for a kids birthday location (kid was turning 11) but after tonight I would definitely recommend it."
"Thursday 5:30pmI so love this place. It's a friendly and tad fancy small space inside the storefront of Metro Hotel. Perfect vibe for date night or catching up with some friends. (not too many!) Sweet patio with lounge area & clear dining bubble tent.I recommend any of their wood-fired pizzas with a side salad for sharing. More people, add any of their Italian dishes.Got a thing for the Moto, that's my pizza of choice for takeout. I mean it's everything a pizza should be: tomato, Calabrian chilies, mushrooms, red onion, sweet Italian sausage & mozzarella. The only thing I would add is a few anchovies. Solid choice. Destination worthy.Support Local!"
"We happened upon Atlas while on a date in the area, and we both agreed this is probably the best pizza we've ever had!We ordered the Italian garlic combo pizza, noori chicken wings, and potato wedges. The pizza was chock-full of toppings, incredibly flavorful, and the crust had the perfect crunch--so delicious! The wedges and wings were fantastic, well-seasoned, and crispy!Service was outstanding! We initially sat inside, but since it was such a beautiful day, we decided to move to the patio. I didn't catch her name, but the young lady was incredibly helpful in assisting us with the move and was very attentive throughout.Parking was a bit tricky (street parking), but we managed to find a spot near the front. Definitely coming back!"
"I've enjoyed dinner at Vega many times, often bringing a friend or family member to spread the joy. The food is wonderful (my favorite tiramisu in the city) and the service is outstanding (Peter knows the BEST wine/food combos). Romantic low light ambiance. A dependable restaurant for a lovely experience."
"How have I never reviewed this place?LOVEGreat burger and fries in a classic San Francisco hole-in-the-wall. So good.Open late.LIKECounter seating, elbow to elbow with friendly strangers, watching the cook grill up orders."
"At the time of this writing, there are four places to get a slice of pizza in the Castro, plus two other places that only offer whole pies. I've tried them all (cheese and veggie slices), and since Escape From New York sold their Castro location to another pizza place, Marcello's is my favorite. Not to slag off the other choices, but overall Marcello's slices have the thin crust I like and the tastiest sauce, and lots of specialty combos to choose from (I like the Greek combo veggie special). Not quite *Great* but I have no complaints about the product. One suggestion (and I hope the management reads this). I realize this is 2025 and everyone conducts business on their friggin' phone, but it would be nice to have a COMPLETE menu in the shop either on paper or on the big board behind the counter so when you want to order a whole pie or something that's not on the partial menu that's shown up there on the board, you can do so on the premises without having to look up the menu on your phone. I almost ordered from home for pickup, but even the online menu only shows prices for small size pies, and not prices for medium, large or family size pies. The friendly counter person told me to look up what I wanted on my phone, and even after doing so they had to look up the different prices based on size of pizza. It's way more cost-effective to get a large or family size pizza and share it or have some left over the next day, so I got a large pie and it was big enough to give away three slices to some hungry homeless people on the street and take the rest home for myself. So yeah, please just print up some nice big menus on card stock and laminate them so a customer can walk in and figure out what to order without fiddling with their phone and then having to ask the clerk for more detailed pricing info on the checkout terminal.Love your pizza, thanks a bunch..."
"We came rather late but there was no wait or line. We were seated right away. I had the pomagranate fizz non-alcoholic drink and hubs had the henhouse beer. He never drinks or likes beer but said it was surprisingly good! My drink was refreshing and delish! We had the back ribs pizza and the cheese was super good. My other half said it tasted like feta (slightly gamey) but I tasted none of that. I really enjoyed the fresh cheese and it reminded of queso fresco. We also got a Margherita with Italian fennel sausage to go for the kiddos and that was also tasty! Love the thin crust. Reminds me of new York"

We were in the neighborhood looking for a bite to eat and came across Pausa. I'm so thankful that we found this cute spot with amazing ambiance. We've been back a few times now and always look forward to our next visit. If you can score a reservation, awesome. If not, there are usually seats at the bar. Either way, you won't be disappointed. Some of our fave dishes are their seasonal salads, butchers/cheese boards, and the margherita pizza. The pizza has been the highlight for us and we get it every single time. For awhile they had a mushroom side which I absolutely loved. Their menu rotates so it's hard to fall in love with something before it goes away! Haha. They have a full bar and their bartenders make excellent drinks. Street parking only.

It's a crime that I haven't given Cybelle's a review until now because this is THE SPOT for my vegan fix in the city. Not originally a vegan establishment, but I believe we have the owner's vegan daughter to thank for the designated vegan menu and designated vegan fryer AND the continuous addition of creative new vegan specials! Don't sleep on the vegan wings. Also. Beignets.

One of my favorite pizza spots in SF. Walked in on a weekend afternoon to order to go. Not too busy with dine in but a steady stream of delivery orders. ordered two small pizzas which took about 20 min. Loading dock, which is always a go to for me. Tomato sauce, mozzarella, soppressata, sausage, mushroom, garlic, thyme, parmesan. Soppressata is always great on pizza. This pizza gives me classic pizza vibes but leveled up. A must get. Meatball, which was a first time order for me. Tomato sauce, house made meatballs, provolone, ricotta, roasted garlic, calabrian chili paste, parmesan. Savory with a little bit of heat from the calabrian chili paste. Flavors combined really well but I don't think this is one for me only because I don't really do spicy. If you like a little heat though, this is for you.

I stopped by once a week for almost a year while working in the area. The bread is delicious! I tried different kinds of bread, focaccia, pizza and pastries. The staff were always friendly and welcoming.

I was looking for a place that serves pasta in a parmesan cheese wheel. Found it and had the place bookmarked for a future visit. Finally had a chance to visit recently. We shared several dishes so we can try a bunch of their offerings.Their beet salad was tender and tasty. Served with roasted hazelnuts, some kind of mild cheese crumbled and butter lettuce leaves. Tasty and pretty light. The grilled octopus was the highlight of my meal there. Lightly grilled and oh so tender. The pasta in the cheese wheel was prepared table-side and with a well-practiced flourish. It was creamy (as expected) and worth the wait. The Panna cotta was a lot creamier than was expected. The pieces of fruits were at the height of freshness and just the right amount of ripeness and sweetness to round out the meal.Looking forward to coming back soon!

Such a lovely cozy Italian spot! They have a small but delicious menu with antipasti, pastas, and pies. We tried the burrata/persimmon/arugula appetizer, lemon spaghetti, and moto pizza. I liked them all, but the appetizer was the most unique! I'd get the hot honey pizza next time. The menu changes with the seasons as some of the dishes are seasonal. The server was also so funny and nice.

"I'm always trying to find good food deals in SF, and Fiorella has one of my favorite ones! On the last Monday of every month, they have certain pastas, pizzas, and wine for $10, and lower priced appetizers. I had to book my reservation 2 months in advance though, but luckily there are 2 other locations in SF (Polk and Sunset) you can try to reserve too! We picked the Neopolitan Pizza (and added the pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage toppings) and the Lumache Fra Diavolo pasta. I loved the spice with the pasta, and the sauce was so creamy and flavorful. We also ordered the meatballs which were some of the best meatballs I've had in SF. The $10 house red wine was great, and they definitely gave us more than 1 glass worth (felt like 2 glasses with the carafe they gave) which is a steal! One thing to note was that their back patio seating only allowed service dogs, which is the first time I've been in a restaurant in SF where they didn't allow dogs to sit outside or on the patio. Other than that, I had such a great experience here! I do think it's a little overpriced to come here on a normal night, so I highly recommend trying to get a reservation on the last Monday of the month, so much more worth it."
"Went here for dinner with my friends recently and all the pizzas were so yummy! They were pretty busy on a Thursday night as well but the food came out pretty fast. There was a bunch of options to choose from but we ordered the burrata, Ccalabrese + honey, and funghi pizzas. Definitely devoured those slices of pizza. I recommend coming here if you're craving some wood fired oven pizza with a good ambiance."
"Went here for a date night and it did not disappoint! It was my first time here, but I had previewed the menu beforehand and, as an Italian food junkie, I had high expectations!! It truly did not disappoint!! When we first arrived, we were immediately greeted and seated. Unfortunately, I do not recall the names of the people that helped us, but every interaction we had was beyond pleasant. Everyone was so attentive, helpful, and willing to give recommendations. We never had to ask for more water or cheese, etc because the service was that great. My date and I shared our meals and since I'm a vegetarian, we went with the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and a medium pizza! There were plenty of veg options (at LEAST 6 different veg pastas, not to mention tons of salads, pizza, calzones) The ravioli was divine! One of the best raviolis I've had and the sauce was equally delicious. The pizza (veg side) was Margherita and didn't have sauce which was my first time having a pizza like that but it was so good! The crust was rich in flavor so I didn't feel like I was missing anything! Already planning on coming back here asap!!"
"Came here on a Thursday evening for dinner and I'm glad we came early (~5:15) because it started to get packed shortly after! We ordered the crispy cauliflower and the New Haven style baby clam pizza. The crispy cauliflower was delicious and I was surprised that I haven't had cauliflower served this way before. It had a nice caramelization and slightly crunchy texture that was light and not heavy at all. It reminded me of maple glazed brussel sprouts which I'm a big fan of. I'm usually not a white sauce pizza kind of person but I was very intrigued by the clam pizza. It was good and I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of baby clams and how they did not give off an overly seafoody or fishy flavor. After a couple slices though, it did become a little one note for me and I think I might have preferred it without the mozzarella.Service was super friendly and food came out in a decent amount of time, with the pizza piping hot from the wood-fired oven.I'll be back to try their other pizzas soon!"
"We've been back several times and in the past found the host to be rather unpleasant although we enjoyed the food. The place isn't large but nicely organized with good amount of tables. This time the host and guy behind the bar were all friendly and cheery. We ordered a fungi pizza, Caesar salad, and lasagna bolognese. We liked them all but especially the pizza and salad!"
"My favorite pizza anywhere. Back in my college days I worked nearby so I started coming back then. Nowadays whenever my family takes a trip to the city we have to come back. The Detroit style is a nice addition, but I think the cornmeal crust is the best. My wife loves the fettuccine carbonara. This time we were advised to try the dessert pizza, and it was fantastic! Can't wait to come back."
"Happy birthday Alex! We came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Strangely we were the only party here this whole time. Our food came pretty quickly after we ordered. So hard to choose! Everything on the menu looks delicious. +1 service was great! Came to refill our waters regularly +1 food came out quick! +1 good portion sizes! Only keeping it a 4 stars because the appetizers I was not too impressed. Calamari was cold and too salty, poke was not bad but the chips to poke ratio was quite stingy lol Allen and I got the paella and lobster pasta, and both were so filling. Lunch has lunch combos too. Overall, I would come here again for a fancy occasion. I can see the vibes being nice at night time!"
"Gold Mirror Italian Restaurant Came here for a fantastic medical dinner and got to try their wonderful selections of food! Started off with the house made ravioli with mushroom cream sauce, then indulged in some yummy pesto pasta. I was already feeling a bit full from the family styled appetizers but for my entree I chose the filet mignon, medium rare, with bone marrow reduction. I was surprised I was even able to finish my steak, but I'm glad I did. It always tastes best when it's right out the kitchen. But my favorite was definitely the pesto pasta, it was made just right and the sauce hit the spot! The staff was amazing and did a wonderful job. The food was great, and close to where I live. Hope to be back soon!"
"Absolutely delicious Italian food!! Super lively and fun, with colorful decor and loud music. Barbara is not the place you want to be for a quiet dinner with deep conversation, but if you're looking for dinner and yap, Barbara is it! Servers were very friendly (but seemed stressed so I hope they get more staff soon). I came in with very low expectations about the food but was blown away. To be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of Italian-American cuisine. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but most Italian places I've been to have served me the blandest, most boring pizza and pasta. My friends wanted Italian so we came here since it was close to where we were hanging out in the city, and I'm so glad we did because if we didn't, I would still be a non-believer in pasta. Their tagliatelle salmone & zucchine (smoke salmon, zucchini, tomato cream sauce) is literally the best pasta I've ever had. It was sooooo flavorful -- noodles were perfectly chewy and the saltiness of the salmon paired so well with the milder tomato cream. Like I said, I didn't even like pasta before I tried this. Ugh, amazing, still think about this dish all the time.We split these appetizers:- Lentil soup which was the soup of the day: surprisingly very large portion sizes. I was expecting this tiny bowl of soup but you could honestly order this as an entree and be full. Good, but nothing noteworthy.- Brussels chips: couldn't get enough. I inhaled the whole bowl. Crispy and charred, which is how I like it.- Bruschetta: great starter, enough for large parties to share. - Caprese: standard tomato with mozzarella and EVO. My friends got the following entrees and they all raved about them:- Tagliatelle bolognese (parmesan, ground beef, tomato sauce)- Linguine al frutti di mare (calamari, clams, mussels, prawns in red sauce)- San Francisco pinsa/pizza (tomato sauce, spicy salami, Italian sausage, mozzarella, red onion). We weren't entirely sure what made this 'San Francisco' but it was great. We did come on an understandably busy Saturday night but it seems like they're slightly understaffed. The bathroom was a little dirty... Service was great but our server seemed stressed and the staff were running around trying to get to all the tables.Would def come again, especially for that salmon pasta. I just hope they get enough staff!"
"Really good NY style pizza. The restaurant even emulates the feeling of being in a NYC pizza shop. We ordered garlic knots, salsiccia pizza, margherita pizza, and pepperoni pizza for takeout and it was ready at the expected pickup time. The garlic knots were a crowd favorite! And the side of marinara that it came with was tasty. Wish we ordered more of these because they disappeared quick! I only got to try the Salsiccia, but the toppings went well together. Although the jalapeños weren't spicy, it did pair well with the sausages. My friends enjoyed the margherita pizza given that the tomato sauce is really good. The pizzas were incredibly thin and had the perfect crust. Not sure if the pizzas were extremely cheesy or our pies weren't cut all the way through, but we did have to separate the slices with a cutter at home."
"A longstanding gem in the West Portal neighborhood for grab-and-go authentic Italian fare, Little Original Joe's is a lively corner shop to stop in for deli, pizza, pasta and even soft serve. Many order on their website then come and pick-up. Otherwise, order at the cashier and the friendly staff will bag your goodies when ready. We ordered a slice of pizza, spicy vodka pasta, and a chicken parm sandwich. The latter was more carbs than protein, but their pizzas and pasta are da bomb!Few Al fresco tables outside, don't expect to find a seat, especially on weekends."
"Nice neighborhood Italian restaurant! We booked a reservation a few days before and were seated promptly when we arrived. Parking is a bit of a nightmare (surprise surprise!), so try to arrive a bit early to account for that.We started off with 3 appetizers. The Farro salad was really refreshing, the Arancini were tasty and filled with melty cheese and a creamy sauce, and the meatballs were so smooth and flavorful--one of the best meatballs I've had!The Funghi pie and the NYC pepperoni pizza were not bad, nothing super memorable, though. My only gripe with the pepperoni pizza is that the dispersement of the pepperoni was not well executed. You can see in the picture that most of the pepperoni got placed on 1/2 the pizza which meant some people did not get much pepperoni on their slice :( And sadly... I was that person who only got 2 pieces of pepperoni *crying face*We also ordered 2 pastas: the Bolognese and the Vodka Diavolo. My mom really enjoyed the Bolognese and the rest of us really enjoyed the Vodka Diavolo! And lastly, we ordered the Tiramisu and Ricotta cake. Just a warning, the Tiramisu lady fingers were hard--we weren't expecting to feel resistance when cutting it with our spoons! But when we asked the waitress she explained that it was supposed to be flaky and not super soft. So that was nice to know.Overall, it was a nice dining experience with attentive and kind serving staff, and good food!"
"Wonderful Pizza, best crust I've ever ate. Owner is very personable. Family ran. We also tried the deep Fried pub pickles w/Ranch The ranch is made in house and the pickles were great as wellGreat tasty Experience. They do deliver have pickup or eat in. They also have a Patio. Give it a try you won't be disappointed."
"THE 4 COMMANDMENTSGet the Chicken Indian Pizza.Get the green chutney.Pour it all over the pizza.Remember this meal for life."
"My favorite place to have dinner with Dad when I visit him in Millbrae. I love everything about the experience from start to finish, from the time we are seated, served a basket of bread, and order a glass of red wine, until Dad finishes with a bowl of vanilla ice cream, and I with a cup of decaf. The food is hearty and delicious, the service is friendly and prompt, and the ambience is so very old school San Francisco, with juke boxes on some of the tables and Tony Bennett singing I Left My Heart in San Francisco at least once per visit."
"Craving some amazing pizza? Look no further than Golden Boy! I'm a huge fan, and this new takeout location makes it even easier to get my fix. Everything is made fresh and cooked to order, so you know it's going to be good. Golden Boy Pizza is a must-try in the Bay Area."
"It is a truth universally acknowledged--well, at least in the culinary crevices of my mind--that pizza in urban locales teeming with tourists often lacks distinction, much like a summer fog rolling in without a breeze. But alas, a peculiar media article concerning this establishment reached my eyes, beckoning me to venture forth with great skepticism and a healthy appetite.Upon arrival, I found a trove of slices priced under $7, each boasting the promise of individuality. Yet the marvel truly lies in their happy hour--a time between 4 and 6 o'clock when one may procure two slices for a mere $6 or one slice for $3 fifty (a frugal man's paradise, though with a limit of two slices per soul). Now, I confess: on my third visit, I arrived at the witching hour of 5:45 PM, greeted by a line so long it might rival a Sunday sermon queue in more devout corners of the country. Logistical doubt clouded my mind, but lo, a benevolent pizza maker emerged to define the official end of the happy hour line. That act of courtesy was enough to lift my spirits and give me faith in humanity--at least in the pizza-making sector. The slices themselves? Oh, a delight to both the palate and the soul! You may opt for a thin crust light as a morning breeze, or indulge in a Detroit-style cheesy crust that embraces decadence. Vegan slices, seasonal creations (pears on pizza, imagine that!), and fresh basil await the discerning diner, with a flourish of shredded cheese to crown your masterpiece should you so choose. And word reaches me of their expansion to Chinatown--a venture I wish them well in, for such gastronomic generosity deserves success. Moreover, their budget-friendly offerings are a balm for the neighborhood, where even a $3.50 hour slice can feel like a small act of grace. In summation, if you are of the opinion that pizza ought to be more than sustenance--that it should sing a hymn of flavor and invention--then you must make haste to this Tenderloin treasure. Your stomach, your wallet, and perhaps even your sense of wonder shall thank you."
"Why is this place not busier?!South Beach Cafe feels like a hidden gem. On our walk to watch the Giants at Oracle Park, we had some time to kill and were in the mood for coffee. South Beach Cafe is conveniently located on the long walk from the BART station to Oracle Park. Upon entering, there were only a couple of patrons eating & drinking. Otherwise, it was very lowkey and quiet. The lady (I wish I got her name) immediately greeted us and helped us with our order. I love the ambiance. It's quiet, cool and chill. She made our order right away; we literally had two specialty drinks whipped up in like a minute. There's only one size, which I'd consider a medium. What really shocked me was the pricing. Everything is so expensive these days. It was under $10 for two specialty drinks! Wow, I expected to spend closer to $20 when entering. I don't know how they're doing it with such low pricing but we need to support cafe's like this who have not increased their pricing.I highly recommend South Beach Cafe. If you enjoy walking the boulevard, you can quickly grab drinks and continue on your nice walk I plan on coming back and eating next time."
"Norcina in San Francisco is such a cute spot! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal. I had their pizza, and it was absolutely delicious--crispy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven. The staff was friendly, and the service was great too. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to for more tasty pizza and a cozy vibe!"
"Open late and halal?! Amazing! On a trip to SF with a big group and we ended up ordering takeout from Milan Pizza two nights in a row. The pizzas were topped heavily and the wings were delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Parking is hard and there's not a lot of seating so I would say it's more of a pick up and go type of spot."
"This pizza was great! I got a 4 cheese medium pizza to share with my parents and it was very very cheesy. The service was nice, the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The menu was very pretty and they had lots of options. If you're vegetarian, they also have a margharita pizza and a veggie pizza, which I would like to try in the future. I can see why this place is well known. Their pizza is very good and you can tell that they make it with love. I hope to come back here again when I'm back in SF and want a nice pizza. They sell slices as well and they have a good amount of seating inside. I definitely recommend it to any pizza lovers."
"Pizza is always extremely delicious and the owners are the nicest people ever. My go to comfort food. I love it."
"Come for the great beer selection and stay for the crispy cheese on the pesto chicken sandwich. Also solid beet salad."
