"Fruit tart cake was beautiful and a party hit. Ordered online the day before for a friend's birthday. It was ready on time and the bakery had a friendly small business vibe I appreciated.Usually am on the other side of town but good excuse to visit Stones town and old stomping grounds by SF State!"
"Super cute bakery that does individual cakes in super cute packaging. The employee is very sweet and helpful! Logistics:-street parking-3 small tables-accepts cash and card"
"Wow! Such a great spot.I brought my partner here for a treat on his 30th birthday and we were both blown away. For starters, It's beautiful inside. But most importantly the cakes were heavenly. The tea service was complimentary which was icing on the cake (pun very much intended). We will absolutely be back and telling our friends."
"This is such a cute dessert spot with delicious crepe cakes! I've been meaning to try the crepe cakes here, so I'm glad I found out there's a newish location in the Sunset (which is a way nicer walk than the original spot in the Tenderloin). I tried the pandan and passfruit crepe cakes, and they were both delicious. These cakes were a bit pricey (~$13/slice), but then again that's comparable to other crepe cake spots. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating in the back if you're coming here with friends. Service was friendly as well."
"3.5 STARSFriend: "What's that?"Me: "A 2D croissant."Friend: "Looks like someone sat on it. Hope they didn't fart on it."Me: *SNIFF TEST*Spending hours painstakingly creating beautifully laminated layers only to *SMASH* it seems sacrilegious to a French croissant. But, this became a viral trend in Korea last year which has now come to The Bay. Introducing the 2D Korean-inspired: Croissant Nurungi aka Flat Croissant....They're available at Alexander's Pâtisserie (Cupertino & Mountain View). 4 flavors: Plain, strawberry, mango, and chocolate ($6-$6.50 each). * Plain ($6) // 3 stars * Strawberry ($6.50) // 4 stars : http://tinyurl.com/mr28h3n3Gimmicky? Fo'Sho...imo. Low key reminds me of palmiers (cookies), the 2D croissants were crunchy and flaky with a buttery, slightly caramelized sweetness. Not as sugary as palmiers. After several bites, the plain one became monotonous. The strawberry chocolate + dehydrated strawberries was much better. The creamy pleasant tartness perfectly complemented the butteriness.Pairs well with tea + coffee. Overall, the 2D croissants were fine and I may get one again when I'm craving a bougie palmier but def seems like another social media novelty trend. Gotta try things for yourself tho. Rounding down because of my other experiences at this pâtisserie. I'm a fan of their steakhouse but I find their desserts look better than they taste (for my taste preferences). Also, on one visit, the macarons and truffles I purchased were stale.OTHER NOTES:* Hidden behind Pacific Catch's storefront.* Much smaller than their MV location with a limited selection. * Hot tea + coffee available. No matcha tho which is disappointing considering their brand has Japanese influences. * Tock: Cake Pre-Orders + Afternoon Tea Rezzies * Afternoon Tea ($65 pp) in partnership with Claude Le Tohic and SF's ONE65 is available on the patio. Includes fresh seasonal assortment of pastries, macarons, sandwiches, chocolates, tea, and coffee.* Outdoor patio seating only (dog-friendly)."
"If you're in the mood for a decent tasting croissant or french-style pastry or sandwich, and you're near FiDi, SoMa, or the Embarcadero, this spot has fairly solid offerings. I was in the area and turned back after passing the window when I saw their croissants on display. Picked up a plain croissant and pineapple custard/brulee croissant pastry to try. Both had the right amount of crispiness/flakiness and airiness to their bite. The pineapple custard was tasty with a nice char on top to bring out the caramelized sugar and pineapple flavor. Croissants and pastries run about $5 to $7. They also seem to have sandwiches ranging from $9 (for their breakfast sammie) to about $16 for more filling and savory choices. They also have a few tables inside to seat about 8 people, within their narrow store that has entrances from both Market St and the other end of the store on Sutter St."

Look no further! Support your local bakery and visit Ambrosia. There is plenty of metered parking outside on Ocean Ave. Inside, there are tables and chairs for indoor dining and the ambiance is quite cozy. They have tea, coffee, cakes, baked goods like pastries, tarts, muffins, little cookies, etc. I called them to see if they do gender reveal cakes and they said yes. I requested a strawberry shortcake and that they change the inside filling to the color of the baby reveal. I went in person and showed them my blood test results and I paid for the cake then and there as well. On the day of pick up, the cake was ready on time as promised and I loved the added sprinkles! The cake tasted delicious and it was everything we wanted in a cake for our baby's gender reveal. The staff were kind and friendly. I'd order another cake from them for another occasion. Their holiday yule logs look yummy!!

Quick Summary:- There are some tables and chairs inside- Adorable looking cakesThis cafe has been on my radar for months, and I finally got to try it there. The food experience soared over my expectations. Inside the pink cafe, it is a quaint cafe with 3-4 chairs lined up along the walls. We were fortunate to get a seat and relax while eating our desserts because when we were finishing up, a crowd of customers flocked in one after another. Some arrived to pick up their orders and some claimed the seats, filling them all up.We ordered two drinks and a dessert on the first visit: the daydream, the snowy cloud, and the honey citron tea. The weather was on a cooler side, but we took a walk around the neighborhood, so this drink was perfect to cool us down. I have to admin, I was slightly wary of how intense the color was in their drinks and their desserts. From past experiences of my childhood, candy with intensely bright colors like this one didn't have the best flavors. Those skeptical thoughts were flown out the window after I took a sip of the drink. First, it was absolutely refreshing! This drink had yakult, too. I was alsos impressed with how soft and gentle the slushy was. We were sipping it but we never got brain freeze. This ice was also very easy to eat with a spoon too. None of the bites had a crunchy ice texture, it was fluffy soft.In addition of the cloud, it reminded me of cheese foam in some of the tea drinks. It blended well with the slushy.Another surprise was the snowy cloud (I decided to order this one over the other drinks because it looked like the perfect aesthetic match with the Daydreaming drink). Behind the display case, it looked like it was a mousse or a crème bavaroise. After seeing in on the table and tapped a fork against it, it was neither because it bounced. The flavor is a mix of yogurt and lychee with lychee fruit pieces hidden in the center. This was also very refreshing and healed our fatigue from the walk. The honey citron drink was served hot, and to my surprise this had the sweetest note out of the dishes we ordered. This cafe has so many surprises! Expectations are broken and a positive surprise is revealed. On a final note, the staff were very thoughtful as we took our time choosing our orders and peeked out from the counter from time to time to ask how we were doing. Definitely a "let's come back here again" to try the other adorable looking dishes and drinks.

The flavors are all incredibly interesting. The crepe cake slices and boxed cakes flavors seem to rotate daily due to limited case space but can just be ordered walking in, while the small round cakes can only be pre-ordered, I think. It looks like the earliest pick up time you can choose on the website is 4 PM (though you can request a specific time separately after placing the order) and when I asked in person, the employee told me they can probably do 1-2 pm at the earliest since they make it fresh that day.The sea salt cheese molten cake is pretty salty (way more than a cheesecake, but not like an aged cheddar or anything) and pretty much collapses upon being cut into. I'm not sure I like this one that much but it was still tasty. The salted yolk and pork sung crepe cake is a must try even if you grew up eating pork floss buns imo. The salty and sweet tastes with the creamy but also rough "floss" texture go really well together.I had to run errands for an hour the day I bought the tiramisu and creme brulee crepe cake slices and noticed the creme brulee seemed to have melted a bit while the tiramisu held its shape, but from other pictures on here I guess it's supposed to look that way. The texture of the creme brulee was quite a bit softer than the tiramisu one though.

Beautiful new cafe in the city! Love the minimal and calm atmosphere with plenty of seating inside and outside. A plus for being dog friendly on their outdoor patio, which has several tables and benches.Service was extremely friendly and the drinks/food came out in a timely and they even gave my dog a cookie! We felt very comfortable and accommodated which I really appreciated.I got the hojicha latte with oat milk and it was DELICIOUS. Perfect amount of tea flavor (I like it strong) with the right amount of sweetness to balance. I was pleasantly surprised since I usually need to ask for more hojicha powder at other places sometimes. I also tried the iced matcha with oat milk which was not bad as well. I'm also into stronger matcha flavors so this is probably a personal preference, but I preferred the hojicha more. The crème brûlée toast was also really good and I highly recommend. It took about an extra 5 min wait which is not bad at all. The toast was not too sweet, had a good crunch, and was creamy. I should've got two!!Excited to come back and try their other goodies and drinks. What a nice addition to the sunset area!

A flat croissant place in the Bay Area? Never would I have thought that that would be a thing. After seeing this place on social media, I just knew I needed to give this place a shot. Aesthetically, they're beautiful for flat pieces of croissant bread. It's like super crispy, flaky, and it literally tastes like a crunchy croissant. With the addition of the fruity flavors and chocolate flavor, the croissants literally taste like a pocky stick which I actually thought was delightfully good and whimsical. The mango and strawberry croissants ones were definitely some of my favorites. The fruitiness definitely cuts into the butteriness of the croissant, and it was slightly tart which I also liked! The chocolate hazelnut and matcha croissant were alright. But that's just me being biased. As much as I thought that this was a cool experience, it's also pretty gimmicky as well. I would definitely choose a regular croissant over this any day. But at the end of the day, if you wanna try a unique croissant place, Alexander's Patisserie should definitely be added to your list.

If you're missing Parisian pastries, this is the fix you need! I love a fresh, warm, and simple croissant and this bakery not only gives you that but dresses them up with uniqueness! From their mini garlic ones to their strawberry filled croissants!Plenty of other delicious pastries to satisfy your cravings as well. Helpful that it's located smack dab on Market so you can pop in to and from the office or before/after hopping on public transportation.

I don't normally sit at cafes or bakeries, but today was an exception, having on waiting for my siblings decision on Mom's birthday cake. I normally like visiting or running my errands here in San Carlos, but parking is a hit or miss if you want to stop by Paris. I probably circled once and found parking like two blocks away, no biggie. I got here a little before 230 p.m. and there was a huge line, which dispersed in a matter of minutes. I ordered a slice of blueberry chiffon cake. It was light and flavorful. I also ordered a cup of green tea and appreciated how the tea bag itself was a satchel. Decent selection of pastries, donuts and soft cakes!I've been to a few Paris Baguette locations and I think this one in San Carlos is the biggest one, having separate seatings for reserved tables and a separate dining area for study groups, etc. What's nice is there is outdoor seating in front of the store, covered by the building's overhang, right in front tof the sidewalk. Unlike most locations, this one has glass walls that you can see who is baking in the back. It's my first time here, but due to my impression today, I would definitely come back and recommend everyone to scope this location out.

"Best chocolate croissant and mocha I have ever had. So good I even called the store after (I got it togo) to let them know how amazing it was."
"This is my favorite bakery for breakfast. The location is perfect for work. I always order the hash brown bread because its delicious! They prepare the bakery before customers arrive in the morning. The service is good and fast. I also like to order the matcha latte, which they make for me. I met one of the cashier who can sign language a little. I am deaf and I can sign language. He could understand what I sign. There's a mural of San Francisco on the wall inside. I wish I could smell the breads from Paris Baguette, that would be amazing!"
"What a cute and beautiful shop! I love the enticing food/dessert displays and the nature-inspired interior. The manager is friendly and professional, and helped me figure out which flavors of Jar Cake to get - we prefer less sweet, so I got the Tiramisu and Ruby Chocolate. Both were delicious! I'm looking forward to trying the Pistachio next time. I often look for good food/dessert to bring as gifts, and their cute cardboard box that fits 2 jars will be perfect for my future lucky recipient. (I opted for a bag for my own purchase today.)I came by on a weekday after lunch, so I didn't get to try the savory food but they all looked delectable! The variety rotates. The packaging is neat, and Best Buy dates are clearly marked. There's plenty of street parking near and around California Ave. I will definitely return when I need goodies to-go!"
"Stopped by Paris Baguette for a small dessert after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. Conveniently just a few feet away, this place came in clutch without having to do too much. The store was still pretty busy on New Years Eve. Students studying, catch up sessions, and families enjoying an evening dessert filled the establishment. Luckily for us, the selection of baked goods still had a few options. The pastry case didn't lack items and my daughter absolutely needed to get her tiny hands on a macaron. 5/5 stars for the patient staff who didn't huff and puff over my indecisive toddler. Purchases tasted good as well."
"The pastries are really good and it's a great spot for a nice coffee shop read. I really like the orange chocolate almond croissant. They have a back patio which is the best over the summer. Highly recommend. Nice and local . Only downside is they don't have WiFi but if you bring your hotspot you should be good."
"Best donuts I've had in SF so far! I love how there's plenty of options to choose from! My favorite will always be the vanilla bean! Can't wait to try the rest of their menu!"
"I always try to get the kouign-amann, but this mission feels more like a dream than reality! Because the pastries here are flakey, fluffy, and rich, so even when I end up ordering something else, I'm never disappointed. Lately, the seasonal almond croissant has been my go-to, and it's been absolutely satisfying every time.Whether for breakfast or an afternoon treat, this spot hits it right for a light meal. There's usually a line, but the service is inviting, making the wait for a table feel worth it! Classic favorite bakery!"
