"Redemption Song---Bob MarleyLast time me and my beloved went to Golden Era we didn't have a good experience. I had previously gone there heaps over the years. It was time to give Golden Era a second chance after they dropped the ball on service previously maybe two years since we went there.They were on their A game. Service was on point. Atmosphere was just fine. We both loved seeing so many folks enjoying all vegan meals. Ahimsa.We ordered the Mushu Rolls as a starter. Four of them and recommended for tasty goodness rolled up in a parantha with avocado and vegan mayo with veggies.For our main we split the Spicy Sweet Potato Curry subbing tofu for the faux meat. Sweet curry with a bit of heat. Tasty and ample portions. We had this with brown rice.We were going to get another dish yet this was plenty for us.We saved room for dessert getting a coconut banana dessert that hit the spot in healthy goodness. Friendly service. All vegan goodness. Ample portions. Golden Era returns to our favorite spots to frequent in San Francisco once again. We walked past the place on our way to the restaurant, and we came on our way back to the ferry.The ambiance is nice, but the seating is limited indoors and there is a bit more outdoors. The service was good, and my friend and I were able to try a few flavors!I got the Cookie Monster ice cream flavor (single scoop in a cup). I would give this a 10/10 because I was surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did. The color is a bit offsetting at first but the taste is wonderful :)I also tried my friend's strawberry ice cream, and it was very refreshing and creamy with a nice strawberry flavor :)"

The batter was crunchy and the flamin hot Cheetos gave it extra texture. Chicken itself was well flavored and tender.I also ordered the heavy roasted oolong. It was alright. Next time I'd try something with flavor or a milk tea.Super friendly service, the girl at the register was really nice. She asked if I wanted the cream cheese sauce with the popcorn chicken and if I wanted any toppings or customizations to my drink. I also appreciated that they told me the popcorn chicken would take 10-15 minutes. Will come back to try other snacks and drinks!"

This place only has seating for about 8 people so if you see it empty, take advantage and spend some time here! The owners and servers are so nice! They even brought out free tapioca boba and Jamaica boba for us to to try and everything we tried/are was amazing.If you are reading this and there is a line, please don't stand in the doorway and keep making the doorbell go off. "This is my favorite coffee shop in SF. I can only drink decaf coffee and I have tried about 30 different decaf beans and Up For Dayz are the best. They don't have the strange metallic / bitter taste other decafs have. They taste just as delicious as the regular! I buy them to make at home but I love them in the cafe also. I also love Rhonda's favorite and AB&+J. The staff is extremely friendly and I love popping in to say hi. Highly recommend! Walk by all the other cafes in the mission and come here!"

I decided it was time, and went with the recommendation from my server: Pork Belly. I am SO GLAD I did. When it came, I added a large squirt of Sriracha on each half, and began mowing. Crispy/buttery hollowed out bun, of course. The flavors inside: mint, carrot, and a sweet/salty hint of fish sauce, were ON POINT. The pork belly itself: super tender/crisp and melt-in-your-mouth good. I could barely put the sandwich down long enough to take a sip of my Vietnamese coffee, which was also dee-lish.As we were paying, the incredibly affable cashier (also our server,) recommended getting the combination Banh Mi next time, which is exactly what I'll do.LOVE this place and hope it sticks around for years!"

They melted against the roof of your mouth like tiny grains of butter. We still ate it all because it didn't detract from the flavor but be aware of this if you serve the last of the ice cream (another customer after us was told there was no more ice cream.I wish I could contact the owners but don't see any contact information on their website. The mangoes here are slightly sour, and definitely not the best quality, but it paired somewhat well with the sweetness of the coconut juice. However, I wasn't the biggest fan mango puree in this since that mixed with the coconut juice tasted a little weird and almost too acidic. They do only take venmo or cash as a heads up. This place isn't fancy but it does the job as a decent spot to go after a dinner without forking out a ton of money, and it wasn't too crowded on the weekday when we went. If I'm in the area again, I'll probably go back to try some other desserts."

"I used to love coming here, but the quality of service has varied so much that I don't always have a positive experience here anymore, so I don't come here as often now or I just do takeout.Food: The food and drink offerings here are generally consistent and good - some of my go-to items are flat white, brekkie board, and athletes burrito. Both the dine-in and takeout (including ordering in -app) experiences are usually pretty seamless, though as expected there may be a longer wait time if they're busy.Service: As mentioned the service here hasn't been consistent. In a recent visit, I was excited to bring me mom here for brunch since she was visiting SF for the first time in years and has never tried Bluestone. We asked for a hardcopy menu for her because she was having a lot of difficulty reading the digital one via the QR code and the server kept saying no and that we had to order online. I understand that we have to order online (I was going to order for her on my phone), but that's not what the issue was and even after several tries he was not listening to what we were asking for and why. Finallyy another staff member listened to us and brought us a paper menu for her to read more easily. In another visit, I came with a friend for a drink deal which was not applied when we ordered on the QR code as she said it would, and so the deal wasn't honoured and we had to pay full price. What's the point of having the deals if they don't work? Ambiance: I usually try to avoid coming to Bluestone on weekends - on weekdays the ambiance is pretty chill and relaxed, and I've never had issues with getting a table to dine in."
