"The best restaurant for dim sum in the SF Bay Area! It's been my favorite for years and I return every time I visit. Their dim sum is high quality. Some of my favorites are the purple rice paper shrimp rolls, the salted egg custard lava steamed buns, and the Peking duck - it's literally the best around. The two locations in SF are very spacious. They have private rooms available for large parties and their venue is available for wedding banquets as well. Lots of tables and bright lighting, but don't be fooled, HL Peninsula is so popular that they are always busy, even on weekdays! Be prepared for a wait, especially on busier days like weekends and prime Chinese brunch hours."
"I grew up going to Wing Lee Bakery. As a child, my mom enrolled me into "Score" as an after school program a block away, and she would always take me to Wing Lee after it was done. It's been almost 30 years of coming here, and the food is still the same as I remember. The prices definitely is a bit higher, but paying about $4 for an order of 3 dim sum items is still more cost efficient than eating out. They recently reopened their indoor eating space, since it was closed due to COVID in the past few years. They have about 4 tables where you can sit to enjoy your food with soy sauce and hot sauce provided on the table. It's definitely nice as a grab and go.My favorites here are their steamed baos, pork siu mai, ha gow (shrimp dumpling), banana custard mochi (they don't always have this though), and their lotus wrapped sticky rice. They're cash only, and I recommend going early in the day because they get packed later in the mornings into the afternoon."
Filled with pork, shrimp, shiitake mushroom, tobiko. 4 per order

"Food is very meh, and the condiments on the table are not adequate or traditional. There is no Chinese chili oil paste on the table. Instead there is black pepper and siracha (feels cheapened and dumbed down. Might as well put ketchup on the side too). The wonton soup broth is bland and watery, which is a shame because the wontons and veg are good. The chicken fried rice is decent with a smoky flavor. The salt and pepper chicken wings are breaded and not traditional. This completely threw us off. They were not what we were expecting at all. Personally I wouldn't name them this, as it's misleading. While they are good in their own way, they are Americanized. The Xiao Long Bao are decent, but not worth the money. The garlic noodles with pork were really good. The noodles were springy and chewy. But they use American broccoli that's over steamed, why not use Chinese broccoli (especially in Chinatown). The Shrimp Har Gow was the biggest winner. Big and plump. Good consistency. The interior is fun and modern, but the food feels like the quality of a mall food court. Just tweak a few things here and there to make it more authentic and you'll be 5stars. So much potential!!"
"Value for food. Pork and shrimp siumai is great. I love the salt and pepper pork as well. The wait time is not so bad. The staff are courteous and speed of service is optimal."
"Good value and good service! There aren't too many dim sum places around the area so this becomes our go-to spot.Items we like:- duck rice crepe rolls (my favorite)- pan fried daikon cake with xo sauce- roast duckItems we would pass:- baked BBQ pork buns (overcooked - looked brown instead of golden, will try the steamed BBQ pork buns next time)"
"My friend and I came here for lunch yesterday for the very first time. We assumed that the Chinese food here would be good because of the huge crowd of Chinatown locals already seated at the tables. My friend ordered the Preserved Pork Stir Fried Cauliflower and I ordered the Taishan Steamed Rice which came with pork and Chinese Sausage. The waitress was very nice and the free pitcher of tea was very good. I guess that since this place first opened for business sometime late last week and they hadn't yet perfected a way of serving a large crowd of people, I had to wait a fairly long time for my order. I was surprised that my dish didn't have as much meat as pictured in their menu. Then again, maybe that was due to the fact that they had just opened for business a few days ago and hadn't had enough ingredients to cook with. Since I live fairly close by to this restaurant and like to support my local neighborhood businesses, I will give this restaurant another try in a few weeks to see if things improve."
"After a really bad experience at another restaurant in the Sunset we decided to give this one in Daly City a try. Located not far from Westlake Mall, it's located on top of a hill, alongside other businesses. The parking situation is a little complicated, still; however, there is plenty of parking space around the restaurant, just not immediately within the vicinity. This used to be a King Wah, which was a BIG staple of my childhood -- but I'm glad to see that it became a better version of that restaurant and renamed as well. This restaurant definitely had the capacity to seat big parties like our family function, which we had 11 people. Here's how our experience went at this restaurant -- keep in mind that I did put our experiences over the rest of the reviews that I saw online: Food: 8/10 I'd recommend getting the party combos for 11 people since it's actually more than enough to feed everybody. A little bit more on the expensive side, but a very smart financial decision when eating with so many people. We got the $498 combo which consisted of 10 to 11 different dishes -- one of them being BBQ Combo Platter, Bamboo Pith & Seafood Soup, and more. The BBQ platter left my taste palates wanting more honestly. The highlight would probably have to be the whole Peking duck that we got -- alongside the sea cucumber with mushrooms and pea sprouts. The texture was spongy and saucy and honestly, with the amount given to us, I can't complain about it. What blew me away was the dessert: not only was it red bean soup, but it was also typical dim sum items that we didn't really expect to be part of the menu. With a sponge cake and egg custard buns. Service: 9.5/10The service given to us was pretty superb -- it was very responsive and we really appreciate it a lot. Despite the fact that there were 11 people in our group, they did everything in their might to make sure that our experience was a good one, and that we had a spectacular time. The fact that we didn't have to wait for the big table meant a significant amount to us, and the professionalism that the waitresses and the owner treated us with respect, integrity, and made us also feel like family at home. Atmosphere: 7/10Given that this restaurant was on a hillside, I'm not gonna blame the restaurant, but it was a little tight in terms of space. It was hard to get in and get out from the tables, and while I had appreciated that the service was superb, the patrons around us were not as nice, and also lacked manners. We had told several tables several times to mind their own business, of which I had to talk to them in a very condescending manner. Overall, the community around Daly City is nice, but just be aware of people who will act like buttholes."
"Yum! Fantastic dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. Aside from your usual (but still yummy) favorites like Walnut Shrimp, they also offer dishes like Typhoon Shelter Baked Oysters and lots of Claypot dishes that will warm you up (so needed in these parts of the 'hood). Restaurant setup for your usual family and friends gatherings and/or take out and delivery. Located on Balboa Street and 45th Ave; just a few blocks away from Ocean Beach."
"Stopped by on a cold & rainy day and their food just hit the spot. Many of the Dim Sum places in the city had long wait times but we were able to stroll right in. I found the prices comparable to similar restaurants. Village Tea House had a very cozy feeling although I happened to be seated under a harsh spotlight, so that was a bit uncomfortable. As for service, everything was great. They did run out of Thai Iced Tea so that was a bummer. My kids did not enjoy the Rose Iced milk tea as it had a very "flowery" taste. Also, if you have mobility issues, you may want to avoid coming here because the restroom is on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs only. Overall, nice dining experience!"
"San Francisco has no shortage of dumpling spots, but Dumpling Home truly stands out! Everything I tried was fantastic.Pork Xiao Long Bao - The skins were delicate yet held the rich, flavorful broth perfectly. Each bite was juicy and packed with flavor.Dan Dan Noodles - Easily one of the best I've ever had! The sauce was incredibly creamy, nutty, and deeply flavorful, coating the perfectly chewy noodles beautifully.Juicy Pork Pan-Fried Baos - These were delicious -- crispy and golden on the bottom while staying soft and fluffy on top, bursting with savory, juicy pork inside.Seasoned Beef Pockets - The bread had the perfect crisp exterior with a slightly chewy bite, while the beef was well-seasoned with a subtle sweetness that tied everything together.Service was also quick, as our food came out soon after ordering! With so many dumpling spots in SF, it can be hard to choose, but Dumpling Home is absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back!"
"this place serves the most delicious fresh dim sum! my parents and i came on a sunday around 11:30 and waited about 20 minutes for a table. the interior is pretty nice and clean, but definitely bustling and a little crowded. service was pretty decent, as it seemed busy, and the price isn't bad! like others noted, the service fee is already included so be aware when you're tipping. we paid $81 for 3 people (we didn't finish everything either, so if you have a smaller appetite it won't be that expensive). parking can be tough so prepare to have a light walk from your car to the restaurant.we ordered several dishes and really enjoyed them. the chinese broccoli with oyster sauce were perfectly tender and savory, without being too salty. the shrimp har gow was really good, with tender, thin skin and plenty of shrimp (they did fall apart a little but still tasted good). the siu mai with roe came with a ton of meat/shrimp! the shrimp and chive rice roll was good as well. even better were the chicken feet, which were so tender they almost fall right off the bone in your mouth. my favorite item was the baked bbq pork bun - the most amazing crispy, buttery, yet incredibly fluffy bun paired with savory, juicy, mouthwatering bbq pork! i have no words for how delicious this bun was. i'd come here again purely for the bun - each bite was a mix of light sweetness and savoriness, juiciness and crunch. a must order if you come here! lastly, we had the egg yolk lava fried sesame balls. these were perfectly crispy and chewy, with the most delicious saucy egg yolk lava inside. it was a great way to end the meal. overall, this place has AMAZING dim sum. you do have to hustle a bit to wave a server down sometimes and might be overstimulated if you don't enjoy crowded/busy places, but the food will be fresh, authentic, and delicious. i would highly recommend coming here with a group so you can try lots of dishes! perfect for celebrations or large gatherings."
"Fresh, healthy, and quick. This is a no frills rice roll place in Chinatown, taking over the old Little Paris location. For a Chinatown establishment, there was ample seats within.Ordering was easy and they will call your number when it's ready. If ordering rice rolls, you will have a choice of adding 1 free vegetable to it (like corn, scallions, bean sprouts, etc). You get 3 rolls per order. The herbal soymilk is just normal hot soymilk with a jam/paste made with goji berries and jujubes added to it. It's hot, not too sweet and very enjoyable to drink. These rice rolls have a silky, delicate, and thin texture. It doesn't really have the glutinous "chew" that normal rice rolls have. They have a variety of condiments that you can dress your rolls with. They cost a bit more (still less than $10) than other places but it is made fresh in house upon order. Overall, it was good and I definitely would be back if I am looking for a quick, hot and delicious lunch."

Solid spot for dim sum, offering a great selection of fresh, flavorful dishes. The shrimp dumplings (har gow), pork buns, and siu mai were all top-notch, with thin, delicate wrappers and juicy fillings. The restaurant has a modern, upscale ambiance, but it can get crowded and noisy, especially on weekends. Service is efficient but can feel a bit rushed at times. Overall, if you're craving high-quality dim sum in the area, this place is worth a visit!!

Wing Lee is pretty solid. I can always count on the dim sum to be hot and fresh. Been going for years after work. My favorite pieces are the pork siu mai and sesame balls. I've tried neighboring dim sum spots and i feel this one is the best, esp with freshness.

Just stumbled across this hidden gem while walking through Chinatown. Was greeted by staff as soon as I walked in. Food was made to order and came out fresh! The roasted chicken with garlic noodles was super tasty. Onion pancakes were flaky and fried to perfection. Plus, we got a free drink with the lunch special ($13)! Definitely check them out if you're in the area.

Family of 6 visiting Muir Redwood Monument love this place. Dumpling is very fulfilling. Their Ha Gao dumpling got double shrimps. Fried rice, walnut shrimps, salt & pepper pork chop are all very yummy. Fried tofu is also crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Ordering is easy. They would give us this electronic thingy for us to order and send the order to the kitchen directly. Would recommend this place. Hands down best of the best for the $$$.

Expected dim sum with friendly customer service. Customer Service: The owner is super nice! We usually order to-go and he happily helps take your order. I really appreciate that. Parking: there's some street parking, but it can be rough. There is a parking lot nearby. During peak times or weekends, it can be hard to find parking. Pricing: Pricing is average/very reasonable for the area, but may seem slightly higher if you're used to dim sum in other areas (but hey, rent must be expensive). Food: Food is typical dim sum food. It's good and traditional rather than the super fresh or high-end dim sum places-more of a "get your dim sum fix place. It's not the healthiest and some dishes can be a bit bland; you might get tired of some of the more filling dishes. Atmosphere: The restaurant is nice and clean, but nothing fancy. It is a no frill place, but well-kept and not cluttered like some other places.

I have been coming to Ming Yuan periodically since 2012. I currently live a short 3min drive from this establishment. I have seen it undergo multiple renovations since. Within the restaurant appears much more modern with a warm-cozy feeling with the new white/grey tiled walls with yellow painted posts. I personally don't come here for the "dim sum" portion eg. your typical steamed dim sums dishes like ha gow, shiu mai, beef tripe, or beef balls etc. Not to say they are bad here, but they get redundant really fast. I came here with just my mom. Below is what we ordered. Crispy brown rice crepe: 5/5, I typically rotate with these or the beef crepes. These are a must try if you've never had before. Essentially its a deep fried dry bean curd skin roll w/ shrimp wrapped with your typical rice crepe. Unsure what makes the crepe purple, however the qq texture of the crepe paired with the crispiness of the deep fried bean curd roll compliment each other so well.Salt and pepper tofu cubes: 5/5, usually it comes freshly deep fried after you order. They've got great black pepper flavor. So refreshing. Rice noodle HK style with minced pork with preserved vegetables: 5/5, This is a MUST try at any Dim Sum establishment. I personally love the sour + savoriness from the preserved vegetables; theres so much depth in flavor coupled with the crispy rice noodle pieces. There are many ways to order this dish eg chasiu, seafood, chicken, etc, make sure you tell them you want minced pork (yok si) WITH preserved vegetables (suan cai)Salted egg yolk bun (Milky custard buns H08): 5/5, perfect dessert to finish the meal. The buns are so soft and pillowy. Make sure to eat these right away. I find the most joy eating these when I split them down the middle, exposing the runny lava goodness. Caution as it is often extremely hot. Must try. They also offer a wide range of teas. I personally like oolong or jasmine green tea. Fair warning, some of the waiters may be rude, but honestly that comes with any Chinese establishment; please don't take it personally.

"First time having dinner here. I remember this used to be the old Five Happiness Restaurant, another Chinese place. Food was delicious, as I had the Stew Pork Belly Pot with a bowl of rice. A bowl of soup was also served. When I paid my tab, I put down my debit card, but the server asked if I have cash. Why? I read here credit cards are accepted, right?! I hesitantly paid in cash! Ugh."
"such a cute family business - the owner is so sweet and welcoming :) haven't been back in a bit but want to go backI go with my vegan bf and we have two staples: taro buns, cold spinach salad, everything else we order varies but love these two so muchThey are very accommodating for his dietary needs and the food quality is amazing"
"The food was good. It is a bit on the pricey side. Just a bit. But the food was really good. Very authentic Chinese. The service was actually good and very fast. If you're looking for really good Chinese food this is the place but don't be surprised with the bill. It's worth it. If you want to impress you can with this place."
"Came here with some friends to have dimsum after attending a meeting. We ordered dimsum, of course, and had other items from the menu. The food was delicious and the service was good. When I saw the pictures from other people's post I thought the place was big, but it turns out it is quite small and a bit tight.Only giving 4 stars because it didn't give me that WOW factor. But I would still recommend this place if you're looking for dimsum in the area."
"Came by for lunch the other day and it was a tasty experience. Parking is available on the street or in nearby city owned garages and/or surface lots. Dining is available indoors exclusively.Upon arrival, the host brought us to our table and presented us with a tablet to submit our order. Bao seems to be a Cantonese dim sum spot with small plates that are made to order.Started off with the stir-fried pea shoots and they were excellent, albeit a touch oily. Flavor was on point. Portions were decent. The salt and pepper calamari was also tasty. Lightly fried although the calamari was slightly chewy. The spicy wontons were quite tasty. Freshly made wontons served with some hot sauce. The baked BBQ buns were also decent. The bbq pork was flavorful and plentiful. I loved how thin the bbq pork breading was.The shrimp toast was rather lacklustre as it may have been a frozen dough stick refried with some shrimp paste.~$40/head after tax and gratuity for lunch with plenty of leftovers."
"Omg! Omg! Omg! That's pretty much all I gatta say! Amazing food! 1st time here and I don't regret it at all. Super affordable and the service here is so good. Everyone is so polite. The ambiance is really chill and the food is so good. I would totally go for the wings!!! The wings with sauce. The beef soup YUM!!!"
"The dumplings here are solid and I'd come back only for the pan-fried pork bao, which is one of the best I've had. [Pan Fried Pork Bao]: Pork was soft and not gamey. Everything was perfect from the soup to the crispy bottom and chewy delicate top[Pork XLB]: Solid XLB with soft meat and delicious soup, covered by a thin skin. [Braised Beef Brisket Noodle]: This was our least favorite item because of the chewy beef pieces that you couldn't even chew through. Some pieces were soft and tender, but others were worse than jerky. The soup was thick with an odd smokey flavor and overcooked noodles. I'd stick to the dumplings only here. We felt very thirsty after the food and I felt odd after the beef brisket noodle. Service was alright."
"Great addition to the Richmond! Glad to see more dim sum restaurants opening up in the area. I enjoyed a nice meal with my son this morning. It wasn't crowded past 11am but quickly filled up towards the lunch hour. We ordered sea bass pumpkin dumplings, shrimp dumplings, purple yam buns, Portuguese egg tarts, shrimp rice crepes and sui mai. Good quality as most seafood restaurants. Some of the dessert items came out by cart while the cooked/steamed items were brought out on trays. Service was friendly and attentive. The place was clean. While the decor is simple, the high ceilings make the place more spacious feeling. Large and small tables available for all party sizes. Not feeling crowded or cramped inside. Lots of elderly Chinese patrons, so this place is definitely legit! Restrooms were clean as well. Reasonably priced. Parking can be tough but since we went early, I was able to find a space around the block in the residential side street. Would return again with more people and try other dim sum items."
"The food was delicious and the delivery was prompt and friendly. I would definitely order again!"
"This is my mom's go to dim sum restaurant in town. Even though dishes cost a little quality, and service just can't be beat. It's always busy, so we always get there right around opening. Huge space that can host banquets as well!"
"Went here to the famous Good Ming Kok bakery a few times and there is always a line. I always see people lining up here and had to check it out. With over 3k reviews, this place has to be good, right?! The fan of this place mainly love it. The place is small and only for pick up, no dine in or seating inside.. My faves here are the scallion bun which is big, super soft and buttery, and a steal for the portion. So delicious! I love bread! It's always best when you get it fresh. It almost never arrives home as I snack on it while going home. Their BBQ pork buns are good, too. We had their shrimp dumplings, baked pork bun, Shu main, egg tarts, scallion bun and more. With everything we bought, the price was very decent! It's best to go early but there is a wait in line. Going after lunch, there is only so much left and limited things to buy as they run out fast. I just wonder where they cook everything and I don't see a kitchen and this place is super tight inside even when customers line up ordering. All street parking so good luck finding one! I wish they were closer to our place or a second location with better parking. They don't speak very good English but as long as you point it out while saying it, you should be good but they are quick so make sure it's what you want. Oh and it's cash only!! Must try! Don't let the rating and line fool you. I think it's worth a try. I'm thinking of the scallion bun and I want some again! [5R,2025]"
"Context: I came here for lunch with my family and arrived around 10:55am on a Sunday.Seating: When we first arrived there were plenty of open tables and no line. That being said, the staff will ignore you unless you walk up to them and get their attention, so we had to flag down wait staff to get a table. The silver lining is that they did seat us without our entire party being here, which is really nice since most places require the entire party to be here before being seated.Ambiance: Starting around 11:15 (once the restaurant filled up), it had the normal busy and bustling ambiance of your typical dim sum restaurant (minus the carts).Ordering: Ordering is done by marking how many of each dish you wanted off a menu, which was convenient! That being said, it took a long time for everything to come out. We were there for 1.5 hours and dishes were still coming out. We wanted to cancel two of our items since they took too long to come out and we were full. The wait staff only canceled one of them and marked the other as served / received even though we didn't get it. We tried to get them to take it off our bill, but they gave us complimentary orders of sesame balls and char siu bao to make up for it since they said it would be complicated to revise the bill. To be fair our group did order a lot of items. Make sure to double check your bill, especially if you ordered a lot of items or requested to have items removed from your bill if you didn't receive them before getting full.Taro Dumpling - 1/5: It was still cold on the inside and tasted sour, which it shouldn't have. They did try to make it up to us by giving us a complimentary order of pineapple custard buns.Pineapple Custard Buns - 4/5: Taste is pretty good and the had a nice color, but the inside was still doughy.Spicy Pig Ear - 4/5: In this dish, the pig ear pieces are cut in strips rather than thin slices, so the crunchy pieces of cartilage are more noticeable. Overall, the taste is pretty good and has a nice numbing taste / feeling. I do wish the spice / chili was more fragrant though.Shrimp Rice Roll - 5/5: The pieces of shrimp were pretty big and the dish is pretty tasty! It was exactly what we were looking for!Dumpling Items (Siu Mai, Har Gao, Scallop Dumpling, Chiu Chow Dumpling) - 5/5: Absolutely MASSIVE dumplings and all around pretty tasty! Would highly recommend!Chicken Feet - 4/5: These chicken must have been dinosaurs with how big these feet were! The flavor was pretty decent, but the feet themselves were not as soft as we'd like them.Portuguese Egg Tart - 4/5: Flavor was on point, but these were so flaky that they basically disintegrated the moment you picked them up.Egg Yolk Lava Buns - 4/5: Pretty standard, the taste was pretty good, the bun itself was nice an soft.Pork Spare Ribs - 5/5: Fresh out the steamer when it got to our table, tender, and the right amount of spicy.Lobster Yi Mein - 4/5: Tasty lobster and noodles with the right amount of bite / chew! We wish there was more in the dish though.Sesame Balls - 5/5: Tasty, not over cooked, and not too oily!Jasmine Tea - 5/5: Fragrant / fresh tea leaves that didn't need to be replaced the whole time we were there! And we had the tea refilled more times than I can count!Service - 3/5: The wait staff were really diligent about refilling tea and resolved all of our comments about our orders, but it did take some back and forth / haggling. Not to mention needing to flag down staff to get seated at the beginning."
"The dim sum was good. Parking was kinda crowded here. We got a table in the side room which was nice because it was not as loud in the side room. You order off the paper menu, not the push carts here.I would come back again if in the area. It is your classic dim sum spot."
"This place is no frills and offers a variety of dim sum to go. My kind of place. Everything is pretty much $1/piece -- at least for the smaller items.F O O DChicken feet - This was tasty!! Some to go places serve it by the pound, but this one comes with 4 for $4 (I think).Char Siu Bao/Pork Bun - Steamed, fluffy bread with a decent amount of filling. The filling wasn't gelatinous, too fatty, or too sweet. It was also only $1. I'd definitely get these again.Har gow - This wasn't my favorite of the places I've tried. It's missing something for me. It's also $1/each piece, which is probably cheap by sit down standards but expensive for to go. Inflation...Egg custard circle thing (I don't actually know what it's called, but it was in the case and there's a red bean version) - not too sweet and had a good egg filling ratio. It's at the edge of Chinatown, but I'd come back!"
"Nice Cantonese restaurant serving dim sum, mid week lunch rice plates, and common Cantonese dishes like Lobster, Crab, Shrimp with Walnuts, Chow Fun and Chow Fan.We went on a quiet weekday and the front room was packed. The rear room is open on weekends for larger dim sum crowds or for banquets. Wheelchair access is available through the rear room as there are steps at the main entrance. We had:- Dim Sum (Siu Mai, Pork Riblets, Chicken Feet, and Salt & Pepper Eggplant). First time having Salt & Pepper Eggplant ever! So rare and we liked it! All of the dim sum came out hot from the kitchen.- Singapore Rice Noodles - Canton Restaurant makes a drier version with more curry spice than other restaurants. We like our Singapore noodles wetter but this was ok, just different.- Beef Stew and Tendons in a Clay Pot, moist beef stew with a good amount of soft tendons. Also has Foo Jook in the clay pot.Service was very good, tea constantly filled, servers fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and leftovers packed on your behalf. Many places just hand you a box...Overall, we'll go back. Parking lot is always a plus!"
"First want to mention that being in a city food court must have insane overhead. But putting iceberg lettuce in your wonton soup instead of bok choy is insulting, the utensils are the cheapest possible which aesthetically compromises a dining experience. Am getting the msg aftertaste now that I've finished."
"Brought my parents here for dimsum and they were big fans! I made a reservation on OpenTable which I highly recommend and we were able to get seated fairly quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. The service here is amazing and the food is really good as well. We got a lot of different items to try such as the baked char sui bao, chicken feet, truffle XLB, roasted pork belly, green beans, and various other items. The food here is a bit pricier than the average dimsum restaurant but the quality shows. Definitely a new go-to for family dimsum days!"
"We had our wedding reception banquet at Grand Harbor, and it was great. The food was really good and the restaurant was willing to accommodate substitutions. Steven, the manager, was great to work with and had good recommendations for vendors. Service during the reception was very accommodating, especially for our sweetheart table, and helped facilitate a fun, celebratory atmosphere. Thank you Grand Harbor for hosting our wedding reception!"
"We just moved to the neighborhood and let me tell you how excited I am to have a good dim sum spot near me!!We got a lot of different items to try and they were all a hit. Most notable were the congee and egg tart but everything else was really good too! So excited and can't wait to be back!"
"Review based on my dumplings, staff friendliness, and potential. I stopped here on my way to the Westfield mall. I was super hungry and needed a snack. I ordered the shrimp dumplings which were $5.95. The dumplings were delicious, elegant, and sumptuous. The staff was friendly. The ambience was lack luster (I was there at 12 pm. It may be better in the evenings) and a pigeon walked in, strutted around, then relaxed while I was waiting for my food which made me question their cleanliness in general."
"Food taste is the average Cantonese Dim Sum. Good portions and pricing. Nothing spectacular, just nice casual ambiance for eating. It took a bit to get the food out but that's just because we were the first ones in there, once we got the food the rest of service was good with frequent check-ins from the host. Good place to get straight-to-the-point dim sum on the block. Siu Mai was juicy and filling. Har Gow was also good but stickier than I'm used to."
"Good food that filled my belly while walking the neighborhood. CASH ONLY! Service was quick."
"Food (5/5)XLB were terrific. Highly recommend the hot & spicy if you can handle it, the spice level is medium. The soup inside had a lot of flavor and I loved the ratio of dumpling, pork, and soup.String beans were also amazing! The pan fried pork buns were delicious, similar flavor to the XLB but with an interesting crispy texture on top. The ginger & scallion noodles were fine, would skip them next time.Service (5/5)Waited around 15 minutes for a table. Service was fast and attentive, you order via a QR code on your phone then pay with a standard check at the end. Not my favorite experience but it was quick and worked.Ambiance (4/5)The restaurant is medium sized and has a good amount of seating. It was on the louder side but the music was pleasant and vibes are good. You can see some of the cooks making the XLB depending on where you're seated. Will be coming back to have more dumplings, string beans, and try some other dishes."
