"Sometimes I crave a good Eggs Benedict. The Crepe House on Polk serves it and many others. Indoor and Outdoor seating available. Just wanted to point out that sitting outside on Polk street can be adventurous sometimes.Located on Polk St. and Washington St.; across the street from UpforDayz."
"This is such a great spot to have a quick bite and get your morning coffee! I really enjoy their outdoor tables and the dining space here. I love grabbing a book to read sitting outside because they have lots of tables available. Their salmon crepe is my favorite here, and I love how soft their crepe batter is. The iced vanilla soy latte is my go-to here, and everything tastes delicious."

"Crepes right on the N line in Cole Valley near the Panhandle, Twin Peaks, Haight, and GGP/JFK Promenade? Yes please!Came here on a Saturday morning and it was packed. There were a lot of families and if I had to summarize the atmosphere in one word, it would be joyous. The windows are big and you can see so much happening outside (public transit, people walking, people running...), especially when the weather is good. I enjoyed my Hawaiian Crepe--I haven't seen that on many menus before."
"Wow. This spot has really exceeded my expectations. The fact that I almost didn't come because I was super full from dinner.. thank god I sucked it up and ended up going. There was a young gentleman running the whole shop from offering samples, serving, and running the cash register. He definitely deserves a lot of recognition. Despite how busy it was, he was super patient and friendly. We ended up choosing the passionfruit sorbet and the pistachio. Both really took me by surprise. It tasted exactly like what you would expect passionfruit and pistachio to taste like. Nothing artificial. The passionfruit was perfectly tart. You keep wanting more after every bite. I also sampled the cappuccino gelato and it was one of the best ones I've had. Nothing but positive things to say!! Highly recommend! 12.28.2024 | Saturday @ 7:45pm"
"Favorite of mine for brunch or lunch! The pet friendly patio is a plus and the food is consistently satisfying."
"Great place. Everything is fresh and delicious and the service is friendly. Worth the trek to 5th St for a great breakfast or lunch."
"This cafe is a great choice for me simply because of all of the options. If you feel like breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they got it covered. The breakfast options are great, comes in large portions, and is cooked well. There is a back patio to sit in, an inside area, and a few tables outside in front, so there is almost always a place to sit. It gets a little spotty when it comes to service. You take a number to your table and then they bring the food and drinks to you. With this style of service you can easily get forgotten. They may never come refill your water, and used tables can get left unwiped or uncleaned. There are bussing tubs out back, so sometimes customers will put their own dishes in those tubs. So essentially we bus our own tables, and have to ask for refills, or more napkins, or anything like that. They're not really smiley welcoming staff, which is kind of a bummer since it's essentially a brunch place (yes they service champagne). The prices are also high, so I would like to get more table service since we're paying high prices like a place that has waiters. They're dependable and the food is good. I even ordered a cappuccino and it was excellent. It does is purpose, but still has room for improvement."

Great place to have coffee or lunch. Had a café latte with oat milk. Very good ! Also, ordered pastries which were delicious too. What makes Douce France Cafe so special is the whole package. You have good food, inside or outside sitting areas, and boutique shopping afterwards. Service is good but it can get crowded most of the time. It is a popular local spot ! This is my wife and I's local go to for a morning breakfast and shopping. If you are thinking of lunch, they have a good array of options but more cafè style then restaurant style. Depending on the day and time you should be prepared to not find a table. Keep this in mind so when a table becomes available, you might want to have your friend or family member sit while you place the order. Outside of this, prices are reasonable and ambiance is like a local Paris cafè !

This is a nice place for a casual lunch, and frankly it's a little more accessible than Zazie down the street. You order at the counter and they serve you wherever you decide to sit; it's kind of an odd system considering how many laminated menus seem to be floating around everywhere, but not bad. They have a pretty large menu including vegan items, but I got the Bonjour Crepe (goat cheese, onion, egg, mushroom, chicken-apple sausage, and bell pepper) which comes with house potatoes and salad greens. It was very fresh and hearty, without being overly heavy. It's $20, but it's SF so...you know. I'd come here again for a nice lunch and a neighborhood stroll.

Best decision I made was passing on dessert at Wildseed and venturing right next door to Gio. The moment I sampled the black sesame gelato, I knew I'd found my ice cream soulmate. It was lusciously creamy, nutty, with a slight saltiness that was just perfect.$6 for a kids cup isn't cheap but they pack it full, and since gelato has less air than ice cream, it's worth it.

Had some good food at this cafe in Haight-Ashbury. It has breakfast if you want to go early, but there's also the lunch and dinner options. 1428 Haight is known for crepes. Of course these are the breakfast pastries and not the creepy people. There's also burgers and stuff. Came later at lunch so we chose something appropriate. It's got a few burgers. There's a few options for vegetarians. Fewer than you would expect for around here but still has something good. It's about $15 for a burger, so not cheap but these are big thankfully. I got the Fiesta Veggie Burger. This had a homemade veggie patty made with black beans, chickpeas, cilantro, and corn. This was topped with avocados, crispy onion strings, fire roasted chiles, and roasted tomatoes, as well as truffle aioli, which is the one thing I left off. Also it came with a side of fries. There were plenty of these and it was a filling ass meal. Good food. It's just there's no alcohol here which is the only bad thing except for the price. There's some things including burgers that are okay for vegans and vegetarians.

The breakfast burrito was very good. Great taste with spices and the black beans were a great side. My friend had the buttermilk pancakes which were made just right. Would for sure visit again while in San Francisco. The service was excellent.

Quality is not the same now as my review from 2011. I hear they changed owners since we moved from Pacifica. Certainly not worth the price--portions were half what they used to be and the crepe had a strange sauce (tomato-garlicky) that I didn't care for. That being said, I hope they do well; the restaurant business is tough but to be fair the food here is not what it used to be. Side note: Last fall, I was in London for a quick trip; on every block there was a Turkish breakfast place!--the food was cheap(er) AND plentiful, healthy and delicious. I am dreaming aloud now--what if this would become a trend in the Bay Area. Not every place needs to be a creperie.

"OMG - the quaintest and most amazing little crepe bs boba shop in mission! We tried the snores crepe, the Mexican crepe, and the heavenly crepe with strawberry! This place only has seating for about 8 people so if you see it empty, take advantage and spend some time here! The owners and servers are so nice! They even brought out free tapioca boba and Jamaica boba for us to to try and everything we tried/are was amazing. If you are reading this and there is a line, please don't stand in the doorway and keep making the doorbell go off. It's a bit of a mood kill. Haha!"
"I had Lunch here with my parents and had a bagel sandwich. The food took 29 minutes to get out but it tasted great. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and the ambience of the place was very nice. I may come back to this place at a later date. I give them 4 stars."
"Sit down business still hasn't quite picked up again at Bei Fang Style, but the lady who runs is still hustling to churn out some good Bei Fang (an area of Beijing) goodies. My favorites are still the small bites - I really enjoy the pan fried pork buns which are a good size, fluffy, with a juicy pork patty inside and the pot stickers which she only pan fries one side so you still get that soft supple dumpling exterior with the golden crispy bottom. I've also tried the marinated cold dishes with the spicy beef tendon being my favorite.Today we did try something new which was the grilled cold noodle. It was neither cold nor a noodle dish, at least not the presentation you expect! It looked like a sheet of cold noodle that was wrapped around a savory spicy sauce and cilantro like a crepe that was then dipped in egg and fried up. It was interesting! I don't think I'd reorder it but I'm glad I tried it!5 plates made a good lunch for 4. It came to just over $50 so it's still a good deal too!"
"This was my first experience trying rolled ice cream and I couldn't have been more pleased with it! The freshness and high quality of the ingredients was very noticeable. Dairy, especially ice cream, tends to leave me with an uncomfortable, full feeling, but to my pleasant surprise, that was not the case at all here- likely due to there being no unnecessary ingredients added! The owners were incredibly friendly, kind, welcoming, and willing to answer any questions you may have. The shop is small, but still a very pleasant environment if you'd like to eat inside. It's located in a quiet part of the city, but absolutely worth going out of your way if you're craving ice cream or milk tea!"
"We just discovered this. Line at Mitchell's (which we love) was about 40 minutes. Popped in here and no line with cute seating. Gelato was delicious, tasted freshly made, great flavors and people were super nice. We will be back."
"The guy behind the counter seems nice enough but the place where you eat the pizza (INSIDE the restaurant, to be clear) is truly filthy. I don't think it's ever been cleaned and I really hope that's not true of where they make the pizza too. Also, $5 per slice before asking for a tip for counter service is pretty ridiculous. But like OMG please clean your restaurant. It's truly disgusting. The GRIME!"
"I had a chance to try Chez Maman a while back - and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. This is an upscale restaurant known for French food - and the food here is awesome. The ambiance here is perfect for a dinner our with friends or with your partner and the service is great. For my food, I tried the beef burger which comes on a ciabatta role (a little different from normal places. Overall the burger was good and flavorful and enjoyed munching on the fries it came with.Had a good experience here and would go back!"
"Recently visited this place again, quality hasn't changed since I've visited a while back. Crepes are delicious, and they give a good amount of Toppings. They recently added a touch ordering system which makes it easier if you like to make choices on your own. Still recommend this place."
"Sophie's Crepes really hits the spot and satisfies my sweet tooth. The gelato is my favorite part, so I like that I can get it as a sundae. It was busy (as expected), so we used the online ordering method, but tbh I think ordering at the counter may be quicker. There wasn't really too much of a line inside compared to the amount of people waiting around outside for their order. Next time, I'll try ordering inside and see if that makes a difference, but the dessert is great either way. Was the perfect way to end my evening."
"We came to support a local shop for breakfast and ordered 4 breakfast tacos and 2 beverages for a total of $60 before tip. After tip that's over $70 for 4 tacos and drinks .. at a local diner???We actually caught the owner charging extra fees to our bill today without letting us know. It was just around $6 extra but still didn't feel right especially considering the coffee was watered down, the eggs were powdered and we had to bus our own tables. The menu says breakfast tacos are $6.50 and extra protein is $2.25 - we were charged $9.45 each taco with a standard protein and then $11.00 for breakfast tacos with steak- that's $4.50 extra for carne, which is almost the price of a whole carne taco on its own. I was served a watered down regular sized chagacino but charged for a large. These are minor upcharges but they were not communicated and therefore felt like a violation. Almost $70 (with tip) for 4 tacos and two drinks at a local diner is absurd. I will not be returning nor recommending."
