"Personally I have not gone to this place, but my coworker brought me some pastries and they are to die for, I have been in a strict diet but pastries are my weakness so I will consider it as my cheat day well only to make space for the pastries, since she could not made any decision going to Ada's she brought 3 different ones and I am glad she did, she got blueberry scone, cinnamon roll and blueberry muffin.Blueberry Scone: The moment it hit my mouth I was speechless Oh!! My!!! The last time I had something so amazing don't quite remember, but this one hit the spot and I slow down to leave the last piece for last.Blueberry nut muffin: Not as quite as the Scone but I am a pecan kind of person and I love muffins so this pastry was great not as amazing as the first one but tbh the scone takes 1st place. Cinnamon Roll: I am not a cinnamon kind of gal but this sure surprised me, the first bite was out of this world specially with the cream on the side, I always imagined it super sweet but no on the contrary it was easy to eat and no remorse while eating it. Now this was an exceptional experience with these 3 pastries but I need to visit this place in person so I can try other ones that I bet are as good as these ones. If this pastries are amazing I can just imagine eating them at the spot right from the oven and in a homie feeling, I will definitely try to visit this place very soon. But for now I will enjoy them, thank you for the hands that prepare them you guys are amazing"
"Very delicious soft serve! But there will be a wait~Uji time is very much known for matcha desserts. So the first visit I tried a matcha soft serve in taiyaki cone. It's a fish shaped egg waffle that is toasty crispy on the outside and spongy on the inside. I like to get red bean as filling. The soft serve is very good! Sweet but not too sweet. The second visit I tried the ube one. It's smooth but more icy than creamy. I actually prefer less creamy cuz it feels less heavy. The ube one is sweeter than matcha. But both are delicious! The shop is small so you would be eating in the hall way. But that's ok. You order on the screen and wait for your treats. Service is not super fast but taiyaki cone does take a while to be freshly made so a wait is expected."
House made hummus, thinly sliced avocado, bagel seeds and chili-lime seasoning. Served on toasted sourdough with a side of lemon. A house favorite!! Delicious!! Try it!!

"Delicious Ritual Coffees, and Matcha Lattes. Theire Avocado Toast is also ny favorite in town. Friendly and fast service!!"
"Good food, great prices, and cute interior! The wood and plants gave me Urth caffe vibes from LA."
"Love what they did with the space and menu! Not a great photo of the remodel (I'm shy to stand up and take more photos) but they have nice bench seating with OUTLETS below it! I grew up in the neighborhood and there's just never been a good place to do laptop work in this part of town, and barely any cafes to start with. Excited to come back soon! The people here are the sweetest ever and it has strong local vibes."
"A solid bite to eat! Service was quick and the food was cozy. The style of pan Asian fusion is always hard for me to love-love, but it was overall tasty. The curry udon with tofu was good and would get it again if I was in the mood."
"Sandwiches were great- my only my ask is to double check the order, we got two sandwiches w/o jalapeños and they somehow still added them in, that's all- please just check - especially for those of us with allergies. Otherwise super tasty sandwiches and amazing coffee!"
"If you live and/or work in the Mid-Market area, you probably noticed how much The Market has changed since the pandemic. I remember the day shutdowns were announced and getting caught in techbro mayhem. People were furiously grabbing whatever they could off the shelves...while the vegan area remained fully stocked. Lol!Once bustling, The Market (food hall) today is more of a ghost town but we gotta stay optimistic. We need MORE food options in the area and CTK is coming through with that!CTK Empanadas took over The Market Café location in The Market. Central location since it's to the left of the main entrance. They're a tri-city based business that sells their goods at Farmers Markets. I believe this is their first storefront. Delivery available. M E N UPeruvian-Argentinian Empanadas: Breakfast (pulled pork or chicken sausage), Beef, Chicken, Chicken Chorizo, Ham & Cheese, Mushroom, Sweet Corn + Cheese, Potato, Apple, Etc. They also have bagels, toast, and tamales. For drinks, there's coffee, soda, oj, and chicha morada (peruvian purple corn).F O O D* Breakfast Empanada - Chicken Sausage w/ eggs ($7) // 3.5 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/2ap77y85Compact empanada with a light, flaky crispy shell with well-spiced, savory chunks of ground chicken sausage and pieces of scrambled eggs. Wish it was warmed through. * Classic Beef Empanada w/ potatoes ($7) // 3.5 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/4drbvkjkThe pastry shell was too thin to support the filling so unfortunately, the empanada started to fall apart upon picking up. Generous filling of ground beef and potatoes. * Pork Tamale w/ salsa criollo ($6.25) // 4.5 Stars: https://tinyurl.com/4ktd768yBest value item, the tamale was delicious and satisfying with a firm, spongy texture. The masa had good corn flavor. Filled with spiced pulled pork. The creamy rocoto sauce and acidic red onions (salsa criollo) brought everything together. Also, includes a piece of buttered ciabatta. * Sauces:- Huacatay Sauce: Creamy and mild. I think more garlic and herbs would help to cut through the richness of the savory fillings. - Rocoto Sauce (extra spicy): I liked this one better, as it has more flavor but def could use more heat. IMO, it was barely spicy. S E R V I C EVery kind owner with prompt service. He was receptive to feedback. A M B I A N C EPlenty of seating around the market and food hall. Dog-friendly outdoor seating in the courtyard with a firepit. P A R K I N GThere's a parking garage half a block away on Jessie (alleyway). Overall, props to the owner of CTK Empanadas for taking a chance with The Market and I hope this is the start to more food vendors moving in. If you're looking for your empanada or tamale fix, give this new business in The Market a try!"
"The aesthetics of their desserts are second to none. The Ube Mille Crepe is not only delicious but it is also the prettiest shade of purple!! And whoever thought of adding the gold flakes on top is brilliant! The crisp on the Pandan Kaya Honey Toast was heavenly - so easy to bite into. It is filled with a delicious Pandan sauce that flows when you cut into the toast. I don't know how they managed to create this perfection because now it is on top of my list. My husband is super picky and he was so impressed by it which truly says something! Please come to east coast because I am honestly considering moving across the country for your desserts."
"Coming from a family who use to own a donut shop, I'm a bit picky on my donuts. They have to have the right texture, taste, and level of sweetness (which is not too sweet). I tried both a glazed donut and chocolate glazed from Royal Donut and they met my donut standards.Upon entering the donut shop, I was immediately greeted by the owner. He was very friendly and you can tell he came from a hard working background. During this visit, I also ordered a Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Thai Iced Tea. As the other reviews have said, the Vietnamese Iced Coffee is great. He even asks you how sweet you want it (which I rarely get asked!)I will be returning in the future for my donut cravings and Vietnamese Iced Coffee!"
"The coffee and bagels here are always fresh. You can tell by the texture and smell how great the bagels are, but they have such a great selection too. It's a lil quant place not really setup for sitting and dining."

If y'all don't know about Ada's, y'all should -- because they got one of the BEST coffees around town. They are locally sourced and get the most organic beans, and make the BEST pastries. And best of all, they are a 501(c)3 non-profit social enterprise running in the heart of Palo Alto. I work at Cubberley not far from Ada's, so I have been coming by often and supporting. A big shout out goes to Kathleen, the owner and founder of Ada's Cafe -- she's absolutely humble and very caring at every customer. She goes above and beyond in support of not only the neurodivergent community, but also for the communities in need in Palo Alto. I ordered a 16oz latte with whole milk on a Friday -- and they honestly served it with SO much love and so much belonging. It truly felt like I was at home, but 10x better. The beans had flavor, and the whole milk wasn't overly saturated. I also appreciated how much love and consideration they put in the croissant sandwich as well, because the ingredients were fresh and not too sweet or too salty at all. It is located next to the Palo Alto Library, and they do close early at 4pm. There is limited indoor seating, but there is a variety of things you can choose from. I would definitely recommend supporting a local business like Ada's and having your bestie brunch dates here too.

Uji Time Dessert is located on the lower floor of Japan Center West Mall. There is no seating inside, and when I visited, there was a long line to order from the kiosk. After placing an order, customers wait to have their number called. Therefore, there's not much of an ambiance to this place.I got the Taiyaki cone, which includes one flavor, one filling, and two toppings. For an additional dollar, you can get two flavors stacked. I really enjoyed the Nutella filling over red bean, which I opted for as a topping instead--otherwise, it would have been too much red bean. The ube ice cream had a strong purple yam flavor, which some say tastes artificial, but I liked it. It's one of the better ube ice creams I've had. The topping selection is great, with choices like honey, soy bean powder, chocolate wafers, and marshmallows.Orders come out quickly, but finding a place to eat can be tricky. Many people sit on the ledges and benches by the stairway, which gets especially crowded when it rains and people seek shelter.Overall, Uji Time Dessert is a solid spot for ice cream in San Francisco's Japantown, though the lack of seating can be an inconvenience.

4.5 stars rounded up. Zero& is one of the top boba places in the city for me. The boba are a good size and texture. The drinks taste good consistently. The flavors aren't super artificial tasting. Granted I don't drink caffeine so I can't speak to the quality of their milk teas. Their crème brûlée milk with boba is decadent. The taro ube drink is good, but I'd rather just have taro by itself. I wonder if there is a way to customize this? I like that there are caffeine-free and dairy-free options. I tried using their app a while back due to a promise of a free drink on my google pixel phone and it was crap. The app wasn't designed for google pixels I guess and the add item to order button was hidden, literally could not access it. My partner's oneplus phone had no problem lol. Go figure. There is only a little bit of seating near the window ledge as I remember it. It would be nice if they added more seating somehow. It's nice to be able to take a break from walking all over the city. Offering tourists a respite would be nice too. Unfortunately, they don't really have employees as cashiers anymore if you have questions. There's just a couple screens you order from. This place needs a deep clean! and a paint refresh! I don't know why the owners/designers would go would a stark white aesthetic if they aren't going to keep it clean.

Ordered the Avocado Toast with a side of bacon. Extra points for the tasty, not very toasted, but holds up to eating by hand.Looks like the entire menu is grab & go. The avocado toast was beautifully presented topped with a lovely purple nasturtium, sans the utilitarian foam container. Menu has an abundance of bagel combinations, as well as some fine coffee & tea. Inside is 4 cafe tables, facing the windows, marble tops, cherry red stylish chairs. Theres a long banquet bench hugging the picture windows. Found out the cafe rents space in the Infinity Hotel by Hilton. That explains the classy chairs & fire pit outside. There's seems to be a 50/50 mix of locals, & tourists from the many motels (really cool vintage neon signs) dotting Lombard St. This is not the famous twisty portion of the street, rather, on a busy, noisy throughway towards the Golden Gate Bridge. I'll be returning to Twisted St. cafe for sure.

FOOD their Szechuan chicken is yummy! Their ingredients tasted clean and fresh. I'd like to come back and try their other dishes. You order at the register then go sit down. INSIDE is bright and clean feeling. Parking can be tough as it is in San Francisco especially with the new pedestrian parking law where you can't park within 20 feet of a crosswalk. They're located at a corner too so parking right in front will be impossible with the new parking law.

Here visiting from Boston on the East coast. Looking for a low key breakfast take out spot, this is it.Bought a breakfast burrito made to order and a ham and cheese croissant. They also offer drip coffee and specialty as well as seasonal coffee drinks. The store itself also has some unique products and basic provisions.Staff was friendly and patient as I kept buying and finding things. If you are into unique potato chip flavors, they also have a fun lineup

"Duplicate review, see Social Eatery3 businesses in one with one owner. Grapeholic, Noodle Osophy, Rice Monster.Going to an event tonight but got here an hour early. So we came to this place to hang out and relax before the event.Quality/Quantity - Coconut Mango Latte - My coffee. This was good, but way too fancy for me. Oh, my daughter wrote in the comments section on the kiosk when ordering to add boba and they did!! The manager mentioned to her that this is not a normal/standard thing, but they still honored it. And he did not even charge us, thank you.Grape & Tea Jelly - Added boba for 65¢ more. My daughter liked her drink.Taro & Milk - Our guest enjoyed her drink.Crispy Chicken Nuggets - It was temperature hot as it came fresh out of the fryer. Free fruit, see pictures. We did not take it.Catering and pop-up events are also available, see website.Atmosphere - Cool, young, and hip vibe atmosphere; I fit right in, lol. Cool decor from the exterior to the interior, see pictures. Indoor or outdoor seating.Complimentary games available, my daughter chose two to play (not at the same time).Small parking lot, but not an issue for us.Open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm or 8:30pm.Service - This is how a business should be run!The manager greeted us as we entered and asked if we would dine-in or take-out.We shared that we just wanted drinks, so he directed us to the self service kiosk. Then my daughter and I ordered. Our guest, after seeing our drinks, wanted one also. But she struggled with the kiosk, and the manager saw this and came out to help her. What great service! My daughter then saw that if we posted on social media, we would get a complimentary crispy chicken nugget (or butterfly shrimp). Well, I was already posting my pictures on Yelp and the manager honored it. Again, great service.Complimentary self-service water.Loyalty program available, see picture or website.Price - $22 for 3 drinks. Not expensive in my book for what we got.Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since April of 2022! Noodle Osophy has 3 locations."
"So cute! This coffee shop has such a nice vibe and adorable decor inside. They also have a good variety of drinks to choose from. I got the honeycomb latte, and it wasn't too sweet, which I liked. Didn't try the food items, but the drinks were solid! Seems like a great spot to get work done or just hang out with friends. Would definitely come back!"
"TLDR: Go there before lunchtime to grab the best banh mi. Best for walkers on the go. Filling. Yummy.Easily the best I've had in SF. I pass by this cute little place and read their cute little quotes of the day everyday on my walk but whenever I want to go try their food they're almost always quickly sold out by afternoon. So please get there quick to grab the goodest stuff and maybe some wisdom cos they have two quotes put up to read everyday. It's a small kiosk style quick bites place with a good range of banh mi or Vietnamese sandwiches, bagels sandwiches, brunch items in the menu. My favourite is their chicken meatball sandwich. Flavours so good and mild it'll make you happy from the inside. It definitely made me. Thank you very much lady in the kiosk."
"I stumbled upon this coffee shop on a walk to my office in the financial district. Loved that they offer breakfast options like oatmeal with 2 toppings you can choose, a great healthy option. I tried their Havana Latte which was really good. A must try!"
"High end bougie patisserie! The pastries all look like works of art in display.Black sesame croissant was slamming! It was filled up with sesame cream that oozed out when you bit into it. Service was good. Lots of people in line to eat pretty pretty pastries."
"Best pastries ever and a big surprise that they were from a bakery I had wanted to try for years! All three were great and the service was also nice"
"Expensive- but worth it. Is it the best sandwich I ever had? YESHad the roast beef sandwich ($18) with crunchy arugula, Thai BBQ sauce, fried onions, pickled red onions - and bleu cheese mayo, a mind-blowing combination of flavors. My son had the pastrami sandwich and loved it more than he loves most food- and he eats.. well you all know he eats .. a lot. Will I return?YES"
"Get a cup straight from the source! It is in the factory. They are super nice here and it'll probably be the best cup of Ikon you'll get."
"One of my favorite ube lattes in the bay! The ube isn't just food coloring--it tastes like some real ube halaya in your drink. And the espresso here is QUALITY.Everyone was ordering their ube lattes iced, but honestly after trying both, I looooove it hot. With almond. I'm sure it's amazing w/ oat, too. But I just didn't stray away from what I considered a masterpiece. The line is consistently super long, even on a Thursday at 1030am. There's plenty of seating but it's almost always taken up. If you're lucky, someone will share a table with you. Get there early or be ready to wait! But it's worth it."
"The best museum cafe in the Bay Area, at least food wise. Their grilled cheese and other sandwiches are Michelin standard"
"Fresh fruit tea from Taiwan [Japantown, San Francisco CA]Holy moly! what a menu! So many variety of tea to choose from: Fruit Tea, Tea Latte, Brown Sugar Pearl, Traditional Tea, Salted Cream, Yakult Tea, Smashed Lemon Iced Tea, a variety option of Strawberry, Mango, Peach, Almond, Citrus, Lychee, Red Bean, Hot Tea, and finally Seasonal drinks. Unless you already know what you want you'd be stuck there scrolling and deciding what to order from a tablet. We chose a 24oz cup Strawberry Fruit Tea Slushy for me and a Lychee Fruit Tea for my daughter. She thought the lychee would be some type of topping but they were actually whole lychee fruits in her drink. LoL! We paid by cash so we were able to order our drinks quickly. The drinks came fast too! Loved how fresh and tasty my strawberry drink was. So refreshing too! They have many locations in the Bay Area. "Delicious! And friendly:) Love grabbing a coffee and sitting in the sun here. Very chill vibe. Really unusual coffee drinks."
"I love cafes like this where breakfast is served all day, giving us so much to choose from on the menu. We got the sausage biscuit with no roasted tomato jam, the roasted mushroom and onion panini, a white chocolate oatmeal cookie, a double chocolate cookie, an iced mocha, and some tea. Everything looked better than it tasted, but that doesn't mean it tasted bad, the presentation was just very appetizing. They were generous with the toppings in the sandwiches, and the biscuit was nice and fluffy and seemingly infused with herbs. The cookies from the display case had good flavor but were a bit too chewy.Outside there is little to no signage, so the cafe is easy to miss from the sidewalk, in a run-down area with homeless scattered throughout. However, the inside is a total 180, a clean and pleasant atmosphere, offering sufficient service and a good amount of seating for dining in."
"Came by for the first time for a quick refuel after a workout class. There are menus posted outdoors, as well as indoors, and you can essentially build your own bagel with a selection of bagel types, cream cheeses, and additional ad ins like lox. Walk in and order near the back end of the counter. This part of the space is more rectangular with not too much space, but the orders are prepared quickly. Go further into the back and it opens up into an outdoor dining space which is really nice. The garlic bagel was very fresh with big chunks of garlic baked into the dough. Texture was soft yet also firm. Got this bagel with cream cheese, which was generously loaded on making it well worth the more premium cost that the bagel is."
"Yum! This place is a new favorite, got the #5 bagel (salmon lox, capers, cream cheese, onions) and it didn't disappoint. Plus good location (located next to the Student Services building on SFSU campus), and tons of good food options. Will be back.Updated to add that the chicken teriyaki bowl is really good. I recommend asking them to go easy on the sauce though. The Breakfast Sandwich with egg and cheddar also didn't disappoint!"
"Located inside The Clancy hotel Radiator serves Equator coffee and a few breakfast items. The coffee is tasty and fairly priced. I get so bored of Star Bucks so Radiator was a great convenience to have in our hotel."
"Great coffee served by great people.I always enjoy when I have the time to stop by and pick up a flat white."
"8:45 am, Monday:What a find, corner location snug up against the Pritzer Psychiatry Building. [Insert joke here].Clean, bright, modern, spacious. The floor to ceiling windows allowed me to keep an eye on my car across the street. You heard me, a parking space! When I visited another cafe 2 blocks away I circled for 20 minutes. Should have taken MUNI.I was lucky enough to meet one of the owner team, Zoey. She took my order, guided me through the menu, super friendly. Zoey, her husband Christian & Mary Carr created this cafe & their original Noe Valley location on the site of a former laundromat.Back to this Dogpatch location. Inside opera & soft rock to keep the energy up. They definitely need to get the word out to the nearby medical megapolis around the corner on 3rd. On my visit I saw a steady stream of the in-the-know sporting name tags saying doctor. Despite the abundant seating, given the time of day, all customers were grab-n-go. Everything is packaged to go, help yourself to napkins, etc. While the plastic tableware usually annoys the heck out of me, the fork & knife, produced with plant starch, were sturdy enough to do the job. I appreciates the serrated edge, better than most metal versions. Ok, enough, let's get to my breakfast. Avocado Toast. Thick slice of yummy artisanal seeded bread. So thick it wasn't really toasted, along with the generous amount of avocado, topped with fried egg & everything seasoning making it pretty difficult to eat with your hands. 1st world problem. The side of bacon was both crispy & chewy perfection. Five star meal. Based on this experience my next stop will be their Noe Valley location. Support Local!"
"Walked in for the first time, Jaqui was amazing with her recommendations. The pastry was heaven sent and the coffee mocha was fresh and hot and the best I've had in a long time. I highly recommend it."
"Stopped in here to treat myself to some caffeine after the gym. I was torn between the guava cloud and the pandan coffee, but I ended up going with the guava. It's super refreshing and I loved the slight sourness that the juice gives to the "coffee soda", which is coffee mixed with club soda. I guzzled it all before I even got to the office but I have no regrets!"
"We previously overlooked this place because of A.K. meats next door as well as another coffee place down the block. This block is lucky to have these businesses because this Royal Ground serves very yummy sandwiches like the BLT+A, breakfast bagels, great coffees and a few desserts. It also has nice outdoor seating area that's dog-friendly, something I wish more places have. Nice service and it looks family-run.Located on Clement St. and 25th Ave."
"Service was very slow, but my goodness was our meal and coffee good. This is the kind of place I've missed since returning to SF."
"Sunday 9:30am:Love the classy cool vibe, friendly service & of course the tasty food. I saw Avocado Toast on the menu so was willing to walk through a dicey part of SOMA to get here. What an oasis! The large floor to ceiling windows surround the modern, elevated industrial design. Folsom facing windows frosted to mask the reality of where you are. There's a couple comfy sofas, lots of seating & a large piano. The perfect place for a Ladies Who Lunch, complete with a glass of wine & a piano concert. First thing inside the door is the order counter. Because I didn't completely read the menu I missed the options of tomato, onion, cucumber, even a potato chip add-ons. I wasn't adventurous enough to have jam layered in with the avocado & hard boiled egg slices. The bread was actually toasted! Absolutely yummy, although the avocado was about a day short of completely ripe. No matter, this fruit is near impossible to gauge ripeness before you cut open.Oh, the beautiful presentation. Upscale ceramics & gold tableware on a heavy black metal tray worthy of SFMOMA gift shop. By 10:30 am there was a steady stream of locals, dogs & children in tow. I'll definitely come again with a newspaper & relax with a Bingsu & chill in the soothing atmosphere. I hereby proclaim Dento Piano Wine Bar & Cafe destination worthy. Support Local!"
