I have been here several times with consistent service. You order at the register, grab your drink and your food is brought to you. The food is always tasty and reasonably priced. It can get a little noisy, but it's regular coffee shop noise. I will be back.

One of our go to places for breakfast or lunch. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal. Ambience is good for a coffee shop. It's a relaxing place to eat and you don't feel rushed to eat and leave.

Man the patience is real with these workers. I thought I was asking to many questions but then we equally asked things. it's like I was a newbie because it's been awhile but holy moly that menu is like a Disneyland of food. I got that falafel sandwich. Yeah man it was delish . The coffees good too, it's kinda cool to be able to fill my own cup . I like how the cashier has glasses just like me. It's a cool family. I saw some kids dining too. I suppose that means it's a place your kids can come here and feel safe . Also means it's food your kids love so that's a win.

This place knows what they are doing for breakfast. The veggie omelette was flavorful and the avocado slices add the extra creaminess. The bacon was crispy and delicious. Our server was helpful The ambiance is ok, more of a quick diner vibe but the food is what matters

this has become one of my go to places for brunch with my peninsula friends! we stumbled upon it randomly one day, and were impressed by the selection and variety of options on the menu...in addition to breakfast served all day, they have all the usual american comfort food favourites like burgers and sandwiches, as well as a selection of greek favourites.on our first visit, my friends noted how reasonably priced everything was, and sizeable portions! the food was very tasty as well...something you don't often find in the bay area...usually, we see overpriced items with a small serving size and mediocre taste. i ordered the veggie omelet with peppers, onion, tomato, mushrooms, avocado and jack cheese. as usual, i subbed for egg whites, and chose the fruit cup and whole wheat toast for my sides. the meal was very filling and i couldn't even finish everything so i had to take part of it home! the bill? $16.74 including tax + tip! i'd normally pay $20-25 everywhere else in the bay area for a similar meal!on my most recent visit, i brought my friend who is actually from greece (now living here) and she commented that the vegetarian pita wrap was very good. i'll definitely be trying that on my next visit!there is indoor and outdoor seating (covered with a canopy). restrooms are in the rear. plenty of street parking just outside or anywhere in downtown san carlos, be mindful of the 2 hr limit monday-saturday.

Broiler Express is a classic diner with decent food for its lunch and dinner options. It's fairly well-priced, too, so it's great for a cheap meal on Laurel St. They have ample seating, both indoors and outdoors, and they're open fairly late, both of which make it a convenient option at pretty much any time.The vibe and atmosphere really harken back to the 80s and 90s, like the kind of diners you'd see in a John Hughes movie, and it seems like most of the decor and aesthetics are original. Even so, they're kept up pretty well, so it avoids the kind of dated dinginess that a lot of other places with old-school designs can have.I'm not as big a fan of their breakfast food. Their options are pretty basic in ways that are easily reproducible at home, not exceptional in the ways other breakfast places can be.

Love coming in here, but the young lady at the front desk couldn't be router!! Hardly anyone in here right now but absolutely rude. It makes me not want to come back, but I guess it doesn't matter. They must have enough business so the Customer Service really sucks. I never ever not tip, but she was worth -0-. It's really too bad because it really reflects the Restaurant!!I'll try not to revisit !!
