Came here on a Wednesday morning at 8:45 AM and it was a little tough to find parking. It's a cute little shop with benches inside more for waiting than for dining; the main seating is outdoors on their patio with plenty of little metal tables and chairs. The menu has many options, especially those with Asian flavors. The staff are quick with orders and friendly to talk to.I came here to try the Kaya Toast, and though it's pricey, it was so good! The coconut and pandan jam was sweet and had a little flaky salt on it, which was such a nice contrast that really brought out the flavors. The milk bread toast was so thick and fluffy and light, it was like eating a cloud. The whole things was buttery and sweet and salty, definitely something I would order again.

Finally visited this spot on a Wednesday morning (~8:30 AM) with some friends, and it did not disappoint! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the space was clean. There were plenty of outdoor seating.I ordered a butter croissant, it was absolutely delicious! Perfectly flaky and buttery. I also tried my friend's kaya toast, which had a great balance of sweet and salty flavors. Also, the bread was delicious on its own.I'll definitely be back to try more pastries!

I don't really think of myself as a bread person and frequently proclaim that I don't really like bread, but I think I'm actually just really picky about bread. The Breadbelly bread-- I love it so much. Went with a friend during President's Day and it was quite busy. The parklet had more seating than i had initially thought. The line inside went quickly and the food came out promptly. I had the egg salad bunwich which was a pleasant surprise. I've never had anything like it, particularly because of the tempura. Really great mix of textures and flavors. Absolute *chef's kiss*! My friend let me have a taste of the Kaya Toast and the Bean Soup-- both also fantastic. I couldn't help myself and bought a milk bread loaf and have been making the best PB+J of my life the last few days. It's just so soft and pillowy, which is my ideal for bread. Also got the Mt Tam Basque Cheesecake. It legit tastes like the Mt Tam cheese, which is surprising for a cheesecake, but I'm into it. In sum, everything was great! I could not recommend this enough for both bread lovers and bread haters out there. For the bread haters, I think it'll change your mind (unless, you're gluten-free or have celiac I guess, though you can eat the cheesecake).

Finally tried Breadbelly and man did it not disappoint. If the breakfast sandwiches were a bit better / less expensive I'd probably give this place a 5 star but it's a solid 4 for me. Came for brunch after a workout. I ordered online so we could grab for pickup and eat on their patio, as their website suggests. By the time we got there the food was rdy and we snagged a table at their parklet/patio.I got us 2 breakfast sandwiches - the sausage and the ham - milkbread green jam toast, the sweet and savory knot thing and a regular croissant. By far the standout was the milk bread toast. It was sooo jealous. Toasted / pan friend perfectly with butter, cinnamon/sugar flavors and a delicious sweet jam. The regular croissant was also rly rly good. Would def come back for the milk bread. Also want to try the s'mores croissant but they were out!

Breadbelly has been on my radar for quite some time now and I finally got to go check it out this past weekend for brunch! My friend and I ordered the breakfast sandwich, egg salad sando, citrus Lassi, black sesame cappuccino, and Kaya bun. While the shop itself is small they do offer some outdoor seating options if you chose to dine there! My favorite bite was the egg salad sandwich, the crunch from the fried veggies was a perfect balance to the soft creamy egg salad! The Kaya bun was basically a huge cream puff but in bread form! Soft pillowy milk bread with a crunchy kaya shell filled with kaya custard is the definition of perfection! The breakfast sandwich was also delicious, I immediately fell in love with the buns that they use. It's once again so soft and pillowy! The spicy sauce added a nice bit of kick to the sandwich! I wasn't the biggest fan of the two drinks but my friend loved them!

I came to try the Kaya Toast and luckily when I arrived around 12:30pm on a weekday, there wasn't a line and I was able to order and get the toast pretty quickly. There are 2 small tables inside but plenty of open seating on their small patio. The Kaya Toast despite being $10 does live up to the hype! I love kaya jam and have had it many times in Singapore and Breadbelly's kaya may just be the best I've had. The jam is delicious with a strong coconut flavor and not too sweet. The jam is creamy and smooth and while the layer may seem thin, a little jam packs a bunch of flavor. The toast is also nice and fluffy and comes a bit warm which is perfect for the jam on top. Would I pay $10 for a piece of bread with jam on top again, maybe not but it's definitely worth a try!

I really liked their breakfast sandwich - it had a nice mix of textures and sweet and savory flavors. The fried egg, smoked ham, gruyere, lettuce, and fermented chile paste created the perfect bite. The Kaya toast was also delicious. I liked how they balanced out the sweetness of the coconut-pandan jam with sea salt, and the milk bread was light and pillowy. Drinks were less impressive. The matcha cappuccino tasted mostly like matcha, and the black sesame cappuccino had an intensely nutty black sesame flavor with a very thick consistency.

Came for the matcha, and will return to try all the various breads. My friends have been mentioning this spot to me ever since I moved out to the Richmond area. It's been on my list and finally after a Monday morning run I decided to take a cool down walk here. The staff is so warm and smiley - I was torn between the egg coffee and the matcha and they let me know that Breadbelly is known for their matcha. I think the matcha is stellar. It is definitely now my top 3 matcha spots in SF. I wish I ordered some of their pastries but post run I just never have a real appetite. Best believe I will come back to have a brunch moment here. They have limited indoor seating and a few tables outside. Yay to more food adventures in 2025!

What better way to spend the holidays than getting some bread in my belly? I've been wanting to visit Breadbelly for years, but the timing never aligned. Being so sweet, my companion made plans for us to go on Christmas Eve, which was spectacular. The baked goods shop is lovely, minimalistic, and pretty small. Inside their normal and seasonal menus are displayed. The shop is divided, one section to place your order and pay and the other to pick up your order. There's limited seating inside but a nice parklet with plenty of seating outside. With the shop being small, we waited outside for part of our order. My companion also ordered online and by the time we got there it was ready! Service was efficient and helpful. So the reason I've wanted to visit Breadbelly was specifically for their Kaya Toast. Companion online ordered for us to share: Breakfast Sandwich (no cheese), Kaya Toast, and Black Sesame Brambleberry Danish. Also got a Matcha Cappucino in person for me to sip on which was earthy and frothy. First up, the sandwich. It was savory, a subtle sourness from the kale which reminded me of kimchi, crispy egg, and a nice fluffy bun. We'd both have it again. The Kaya Toast was the winner--fluffy and soft bread, perfect sweet and creamy jam, and a notable coconut pandan flavor. The danish was mind blowing--so many flavors and textures in one. Sweet, crunchy, a little tart this wasa delightful treat. My companion said this was the first place where he's liked everything he's had. I left content and ready to get my hands on the toast again.Fans of Asian and American baked goods will be more than satisfied with visiting Breadbelly. Get their Kaya Toast, you won't be disappointed. Coming during the holiday season, parking is neighborhood or on Clement and not too hard to find. The shop is easy to find on Clement with their bright blue exterior. We will be back, next time I'm bringing my pup!
