Bistro Gambrinus

Great little spot in our neighborhood! Came by to watch the niner game last week and have dinner. We were happy to find a bar / restaurant with lots of TVs in our new neighborhood. Also, lots of niners fans!They have a decent selection of beer - many European choices! Made us feel like we were back in Prague and London. I ordered the burger and husband ordered the fish and chips. The burger was surprisingly really freaking good. Cooked medium rare and very flavorful and juicy. Very high quality. Fries unsalted which i appreciate. Husband didn't like the fish and chips so he'll probably get something different next time!

From the food to the drinks this place is European brew pub meets American sports bar. Menu ranges from American classics like burgers and pizza to sausages and schnitzel, with the beer selection featuring traditional German brews to local favorites. Beers were available in a variety of sizes starting with a pint and going all the way to das boot. I was expecting pretty typical bar food that did the job, but this place more than delivered on the quality and flavor. We ordered the sausage fries, stroganoff, and pork schnitzel - all of which were damn good. The stroganoff was a crowd pleaser with others in the group ordering it too, and those potatoes with the schnitzel - talk about flavor.The owner was the only one working the front of the bar and he was awesome, super friendly, got all our food out quickly, and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were doing okay in the cold. We came as a large group with a couple dogs at dinner time and sat outside in the parklet. Had no problem finding space for our group with indoor seating available as well. Cool spot that I'd definitely come back to when in the mood for a big beer and some schnitzel.

Bistro Gambrinus is that kind of neighborhood place-small, cozy and Nael the owner is right there behind the bar...and waiting tables. Originally from Lebanon, his food reflects his heritage with American bar food thrown in.Food is made to order so expect to wait. Enjoyed the chicken piccata, best hummus, huge delicious burger, crispy brussel sprouts, chicken kebobs, super tasty fish n chips. Yum! Washed down with a lot of beer on tap!Drop in, watch a game and relax.

Usually go there for a burger - they are really good. The owner is a nice guy and ambiance is pretty good. Lots of tv's to watch the sports and good beers on tap. Don't expect too much from the fries though :)

Came here with a friend who was visiting around 9pm on a Thursday. there were a few people at the bar. the bartender was friendly and let us taste some beers. we got the liter of beer in the boot and it was great! will definitely be coming back here.

Came here the night of the Oregon St vs USC basketball game. It was my first time there and it was a busy night. We got two boot beers and I got the margarita pizza. It was pretty cold that night so some stranger asked to turn on the heater for us. We thanked him for his kindness because we were trying to turn it on ourselves. The kind man tells us he is the bar owner's cousin so he was just helping his cousin. We thought that was nice. Although it was busy, we got our food quick.$20 a boot beer- I would definitely say they're a hit. My first time ordering a boot beer and it was good. Tasted like a Stella to me, I like that. $15 pizza- I usually try to order a Margherita pizza wherever I go. It's simple, really good, and fast. I asked to add prosciutto ($2 charge) which was a really good price compared to other restaurants who has charged me more. This pizza was crispy, had lots of prosciutto, and was more than enough to feed 2 people. This night was busy. They have all the hot sugar dads there, even on a weekday. If you'd like to get a boot beer, with good food, and finding prosperous men, this is the place! Lol. We will be back as my friend is a regular here.

Come for the great beer selection and stay for the crispy cheese on the pesto chicken sandwich. Also solid beet salad.

Good beers. Chill atmosphere. Great burger and fries. What else do you need?!Going with 4 stars because they're often out of beers on their menu. But you'll never go thirsty all the same.

Reasonably priced food. Excellent chicken piccata and fish and chips. Service was ok. Nice vibe

Neal has created a space that is open and inviting and perfect anytime. Great selection of beer, wine, and food. Chill vibe, family-like service! Reasonable prices and hefty portions. I can't recommend this place enough.
