There's so many cafes and brunch cafes in San Francisco. I was on California going to YMCA tennis. I hadn't seen this one and decided to try it. I got an omelette with bacon and avocado. It was alright and fun to try, but really distant...these aloof strangers are going to make things not as good.

Lovely quiet coffee spot to do some work! I've only been here twice and I already love it. I am obsessed with their Cesar salad!! I ask for extra dressing and an avocado (I do wish they put the whole avocado and not just half). Drinks I've tried is the chai tea latte (9/10) and the mint mojito (6/10). Service is good, cashier was really friendly and nice. Only complaint is the amount of tables available.. but other than that, I love it!

One of my new favorite cafes to get work done or get through check-in meetings. Summary: Food: 9/10 Cafe drinks: 9/10Service: 10/10Ambiance: 7/10Parking: 5/10 What I've tried and loved: Iced Brewed Mojito - 9/10 Ice Blackeye - 8/10Mina's Veggie - 10/10 FOOD/CAFE DRINKS: 9/10 I am obsessed with their Mina's veggie sandwich. It's a bit expensive but so fresh and such a hearty portion. Shiitake mushrooms, avocado, quinoa, greens, cherry tomatoes, ugh so so good. I love their cafe drinks. I honestly can taste the good quality of the espresso shots within their Cafe drinks and that is one of the reasons why I love this cafe. SERVICE: 10/10 The man at the register is always so approachable and very chill the two times that I've been here. It's always been the same person as far as I know. He handles the cafe drinks alongside the register. There is wifi at the cafe and in my opinion, it works fast! The wifi is free. AMBIANCE: 7/10I love the natural lighting that beams through the cafe. There is a variety of seating whether it is a two-table seater, wide table seating, window seating, etc. I wish there were more but it's not a small cafe either. PARKING: 5/10 Parking is very hit-or-miss. It is a mixture of meter-based/residential parking. I feel like Inner Richmond parking especially on California street is always hit or miss in general.

Great cafe for grabbing a bite or studying. They have lots of seating. The coffees were delicious- we tried drip coffee, iced latte, and hot chai. The food was so fresh and yummy. We had the egg sandwich, raspberry bar, banana bread, and sweet potato fries. Would not come across the city for this but will definitely be back if we are in the area. Service was friendly and quick

The cafe is very nice, good natural light. Went to grab coffees: a latte and a mocha. Awesome pricing for coffee. The latte was okay, very milky and had sour coffee notes. Mocha was slightly better, but could not taste the espresso shots. Service was pretty fast.

Got a turkey sandwich, comes with a choice of fries, sweet potatos or salad. It was fairly tasty with sauce and texture, made warm, about typical (so pricey) SF prices -- $15-something list price, adds up to $17 with my obligatory tech worker tip. I was in search of a cafe to sit down and work at and it was nice and spacious, had available outlets, had nice natural light from a bright day outdoors, and WiFi available for paying patrons. Music wasn't too loud although I was still spacey and had a hard time concentrating -- still trying to figure out how to make the 'work from cafe' concept work for me. I'd come here to try again sometime if I'm in the area again.

Every table at Beanstalk Café was taken on a Tuesday morning - props to those who are able to efficiently work remotely in a café.I wish I could...I'm easily distracted by people, cute dogs, and the smell of food...Besides, working in my jammies with my bird's nest in a bun and my dog pawing at me for belly rubs is how I like to roll!I've been living under a rock and didn't know "Cragel" was a thing (croissant x bagel hybrid) so I was excited to try it at Beanstalk Café. Except, there was none on a Tuesday.Whomp Whomp.I was pressed for time so decided to order something safe...an Egg Salad Sandwich. How can you go wrong with something as basic as an Egg Salad Sandwich, am I right?Eeeck, apparently you can.F O O D* Egg Salad Sandwich w/ swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, arugula ($12.99): https://bit.ly/3AKZCyw*** Choice of bagel or ciabatta roll (I choose the latter). *** Choice of hot or cold. I wasn't asked and was given hot as default which I didn't mind since I prefer toasted bread. Aside from the warm, toasted ACME ciabatta roll that was lightly crisp and crackly on the outside with a good chew and airy on the inside (Mmm, ACME), the sandwich was subpar for the price and tragically bland. Maybe it was an off batch but the egg salad was dry, grainy, and crying out for more mayo and seasoning: s&p, mustard, onions, pickles, acid...anything!S E R V I C ECordial. With no line or wait, my sandwich was kindly brought outside to me (four outdoor tables and some seating in a wooden boat parklet) in about 12 minutes. Obvs, I ordered wrong but they didn't have the cragel which receives rave reviews (at this location and their Bush location). When I'm the area again, I would be down to give Beanstalk Café another try in hopes they have the cragel.

Service, is really, truly top tier. The barista saw that my fiancé and I were looking for seating (it was filled,) and she proceeded to tell us there was additional seating outside, but also that when a seat inside becomes available, she would let us know. About 30 minutes later, she comes back and says a table opened up and showed us where. They were very upbeat, extremely helpful, and so sweet. The coffee is delicious- was excited to find that they had a mint mojito iced coffee, and the mint flavor really comes through nicely. If you like fragrant tastes, with subtle sweetness, this is a perfect drink. (I personally don't like overly sweet coffees, where the flavor gets lost, so the mint flavor made me happy.) It's a great place to work, with free Wi-Fi , lots of seating if you can catch a seat early and it doesn't feel cramped, they also have outside seating which is perfect for a nice beautiful day.

The main draw of this place is the ample seating. The coffee and drinks are fine but I wouldn't come just for that. Unfortunately they recently instituted a new policy of a $10 minimum purchase to use the wifi. So if you were planning on ordering a meal and staying a long time it probably doesn't change anything. But I usually prefer to just order a latte and then work for an hour and I just can't justify that cost. With an average coffee drink already running a steep $6-7 these days the extra bit just puts me right over the edge. If you're looking for a work space I recommend skipping and going to the library a couple blocks away. If you are within one or two blocks and want a place to read or something it's great
