Pretty simple. Bread, meat. Questions? How much you ask? Just south of 20 for the tri tip sandwich. I'm thinking it was prime meat. Tender slices right off the grill. Lots of options all around. This is a good one.

Tri Tip feels very San Francisco, up there with Dungeness Crab (from Crazy Crab'z) and Ghirardelli Hot Fudge Sundaes. Plus, if you're going to shell out ballpark prices, this feels like a better deal than a burger or a hot dog. I've had a lot of tri tip in my day and was quite surprised how their toppings made it a novel and delicious experience for me.Tri Tip Sandwich: So it's a tad different from Buckhorn, having thick slices instead of those thin shavings. For the uninitiated, it's kinda close to brisket in texture and taste. I especially appreciated how the exterior was seared nice and crispy. They also did something quite special serving it on a soft roll with tons of onions and pickled vegetable options. Felt a bit like an Italian Sausage sandwich at that point. Really unique and delicious.

Am I really the first person to review this place? Tri tip is amazing. Make sure you tell them you want it with the works as you will get your moneys worth. Still pretty pricey, but compared to the crazy crab sandwich this one you'll get your money's worth. They have fried pickles and other stuff, but if you come here you really need to get the baby bull tri tip sandwich. It's their signature so try it or you will be sorry!

I've been craving a tri-tip sandwich since I moved out of California. I ordered the sandwich without onions and had it clean without sauce. My son had it with BBQ sauce. Great flavor and grilled just right. My son and I split the tri-tip sandwich and also bought the crab sandwich and split that. It was the best of both worlds. Just keep in mind you will spend a fortune for it. Definitely worth it!!

All you need is Carved Tri Tip here and some Gilroy Garlic Fries. Both are must haves in my opinion. I'm a Dodgers fan and I was pleased that the Tri tip was on point. The edges were nice and crispy while the meat was easy to devour l. The bread also provided a nice taste. I hated the crab sandwich (I thought it would be delightful) and this made up for my disappointment. It's worth the price too - $12 I believe. Next time I come travel back to the bay I'll get it again. Loved it.

I was drawn to this food stand because of the name "Baby Bull." I remember the real "Baby Bull" playing at Candlestick. Order the tri tip, and you will have a fine meal!
