Baby Blues BBQ

Walking in to Baby Blues BBQ gives you a comfortable, southern feel as I was greeted nicely by the staff working. The ambience inside was warm and everything around gave off a classic vibe. The overall area was clean and I had no issues with it. The service given to me was also very comforting as well. I went during a quiet hour so my order was taken immediately. The food was given to us in a timely matter and the worker there checked on us frequently which was nice.I ordered the 2 for 1 meal deal with Beef Brisket and Pork Baby Back Ribs with a side of Mac N' Cheese and cornbread. The brisket was very tender and juicy which is all you could ask for in a nice and tasty brisket. The baby back ribs were just as great and nearly fall-off the bone which was amazing. The Mac N' Cheese was great as well as it was enough cheesy and flavorful but not overpowering of the meats given. The cornbread was a nice little dessert for me at the end of the meal as it was tasty, but it was a little dry and crumbly at the same time. Overall, I would definitely recommend to eat at this Baby Blues BBQ! With great food, service, and atmosphere this is something anyone would want in a restaurant.

I ordered the mixed green salad (which does not come with croutons) with brisket and asked to make sure it was gf (online menu says both are gf but paper menus do not). The salad was brought out with croutons and the waiter said he made sure it was gf.Asked about the croutons, they took the salad back and brought me out another.... With what I'm 95% sure was the same brisket. Pretty sure I saw a piece of crouton on it.Paid $25+ tax and tip to give a homeless person the meal.

I ordered the 1 & 1 - smoked pulled pork and potato salad. The pork was 70% fat, unfortunately. The potato salad is made with red-skinned, quartered potatoes with mayo and no mustard. I think I'd rather give my money to Dickey's

After my first visit and purchase of 3-1 plate, I was totally impressed and my taste buds were pleased. It's not easy finding a good BBQ business, especially having experienced Flint's and Everett and Jones in the East Bay, that I'm told are no longer in existence. The dishes seem to be of very good value, compared to others which I've tried down the Peninsula. I will definitely be going back there!

Such a gem in the city but I had to take off 2 stars for what I witnessed. The service and food has always been great whenever I come in. I love their grilled chicken wings. They're really meaty and have so much flavor. I'm usually a fried chicken wing girl but these are top tier. I recently tried the Baby Back Ribs (1/4 order) and it came with 3 ribs. The server told us they serve them by weight. 3 was enough for my partner and I to share cuz we actually ordered a lot of food. We had fries, mac and cheese, caesar salad and a Texas rolled taco. Everything is great. I didn't love the caesar salad but that's okay, I just wanted to try it. I wasn't expecting the best caesar salad. The Texas rolled taco was more like a burrito with how huge it was. I liked it but I don't think I would order it again. I would highly suggest the chicken wings, baby back ribs, fries and mac and cheese.My reason for giving 3 stars is because I saw some unsanitary behavior in the kitchen last night. I sat in the far back wall and I noticed the female server and male cook let an older woman, who was not a worker, reach over and get fries for herself and put them into a togo box. She used her bare hands to get fries from a big bowl of fries that they were serving to the rest of the restaurant. It was really uncomfortable to see because I think it's very unsanitary to just let someone, who doesn't even work there to handle food. I guess she seemed like a regular but even then, I would hope that any establishment would be careful about the food they are serving. I hope they don't allow this kind of thing to happen in the future.

The best ribs in San Francisco! Baby backs or St. Louis ribs, which are my favorites.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my family and we got a family meal 5 meats 5 sides and also got a couple appetizers. The brisket, chicken, pulled pork and ribs were all pretty juicy and good. We also tried the bacon and chicken tenders which my kids loved. They had a few options of sauces and our super nice waitress explained them all to us. She was very attentive and kind, even took a picture for us. I grew up here and been to so many places nearby but never ate here not sure why. I've been here to drink and watch games but I'm glad I finally got to try the food. Everyone left full and happy. Sad there aren't many bbq places in the city anymore but we will be coming back here.

This review come a little late. Our VP took our skeleton crew to lunch on a Friday. Most of the company were not in the office that day.--their loss. BBQ lunch for those that came in.I'll cut to the chase: the food was quite decent. There are too many BBQ places in the City anymore. So finding one is like finding a parking spot. Thankfully, this is good spot.Everything was good, tender, juicy and flavorful. Portions were good-sized. Service was also decent. I'll definitely go back.Time to cut to the photos.

I probably was looking for the chicken just to be normally seasoned, but it had a barbecue flavored. It wasn't bad, it tasted good with the honey mustard and barbecue dipping sauces. The mac and cheese tastes good, the collard greens was good too. I loved the cornbread. The banana pudding was good, but it needed more cookies

We called for a catering request and the staff were helpful and friendly trying to help us figure out just how much to order. We ordered 5 lbs of the brisket and 5 full racks of the memphis ribs for a party of 20 people. We definitely had a ton of leftovers. Here are my ratings:- brisket a solid 5 stars- it was pretty moist and tender- memphis ribs- 4 stars- a little too smoky for my preference, but each rib was moist no matter if you got a thinner or thicker cut. We also got a complimentary tray of coleslaw which was a nice surprise!
