B & J 1/4 Lb Burgers

I personally never been inside of the this restaurant but when my boyfriend buys me the breakfast from here and let me tell you... The food is smacking and affordable! You get hash brown, bacon, eggs and bread for $12 and the portion is big! You don't get that price anywhere! Those who on a budget and need a good breakfast, this is the place to go!

This place is bustling with people coming and going. It's loud in here. A lot going on all at once. Thankfully I placed my order ahead of time as every transaction took a good amount of time to complete. When I got here I still had to wait about 20+ minutes for my order. I took a seat at the diner while I waited and saw so many people coming and going. I saw what people were eating around me and heard what people were ordering. Everything was being prepped in front of me. The sandwich I got was the rib eye steak. I thought it would come standard with certain things in it but ordering online you can customize it. I also ordered jalapeño poppers I had to wait another 10 minutes for. The sandwich itself was on two buttery pieces of toast and had very little flavor. The meat was not easy to bite through. The jalapeños weren't bad and came with a side or ranch. I'd consider trying a breakfast sandwich next time might be a better fit for me or the breakfast. Service is all over the place. The ladies are taking orders getting payment and answering order questions. Service is slow because they are making a lot of the items. All the food is out visibly and nothing is coming out of the fridge or going back in. Fries were chilling off to the side. They looked cold and unseasoned. Parking is available in their lot and they take card and cash. Breakfast ends at a certain time. Interesting place to grab something and go.

It was good but it could have been great. The burgers are actually 1/3 lb. and fairly tasty. And prices are very reasonable. The vegis that came with the burger could be better the fries were reheated. Too bad. There is a lot to park your car but the inside is a bit of a dump and neighborhood a little sketchy if you care about that. I guess the lower prices make up for it.

[Review for lunch takeout back in November '23] An ok spot, overall low 3 stars. We ordered our food online, but I never received any notification that our food was ready. We got there at the start of the window when it was supposed to be ready, and our food was already sitting out in a bag. * 1/3 lb Burger - 2.5 starsThe patty was pretty dry and flavorless. We also questioned whether this was actually 1/3 lb, as we regularly get that size at a different burger place where they seem to use much more meat.* Omelette - 3 starsOk, but veggies/meat are wrapped in the egg (like a crepe), vs being cooked into the egg. This made eating it messy. Also I included jalapeno but they add a LOT of it and it was quite spicy. For to-go, they put a thin layer of hash brown covering 2/3 of the box, then the omelette also covers 2/3 of the box. So the omelette ends up sitting on top of most of the hash brown and making it very soggy.

The fries were piping hot and the burger was freshly prepared in front of me. Service was reasonably friendly and fast.

Found this place while one night stealth van camping down the street. What a wonderful greasy spoon. So fun to watch all the work and the loudness of the counter. It's amazingly fun and clean. Just stare at the greasy spoon channel while you eat your 11 dollar (including tax and coffee) breakfast. Neighborhoods like this are part of the gem collection of San Francisco.

This was my first visit to this hidden little gem out on 3rd Street in the Bayview and all I can say is "WOW!" I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was one of the most well-balanced, tasty and affordably priced burgers I've ever had! Jaried was slinging the burgers like a well seasoned pro, cooking them to perfection while dressing the buns at the same time AND handling the deep fryer duties!

Horrible service and food!Roach eggs and rat droppings found in the kitchen!They were closed down by the health department and they keep deleting all comments that prove they are nasty.They workers treat you like crap and they don't clean the place well.That's why the health dept shut them down. You have to be very nasty to get shut down and just cause you reopened doesn't mean you cleaned the place well.

I have ordered food at this establishment for years and have never been disappointed! Whether in person dining or take out, the service has been fast and friendly. Because the place is small there isn't much of an ambiance inside, however, it is located on a perfect corner in the neighborhood which attracts a lot of business.
