This was my first time at Arya. I was taken here for my birthday. The food was amazing. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The came out in a timely manner. We were checked on very often by our server Michael and by others. Michael was fantastic. Always kept our drinks full. Overall Arya is fantastic and I will definitely be back. 10/10

My wife and I dined at Arya Steakhouse in Palo Alto on Friday, February 28, 2025, with a 7:30 PM reservation. This was our first time at a Persian steakhouse, so it was a different experience from our usual spots, but overall, it was a solid night out with attentive service and good food. What We Ordered:Starters:Calamari - Good, but nothing special. A standard dish, well-executed but not particularly memorable.Steak Tartare - Flavorful and done right. A well-balanced dish that stood out.Mains:Crab Gnocchi - The sauce was excellent, the crab was fresh, and the gnocchi had good flavor. It was a bit denser than I typically prefer--not in a bad way, just thicker and less airy than expected.8oz Filet with Scallops - Steak was cooked perfectly, and the scallops had a great sear, pairing well with the filet.Drinks:Midnight Hours (Cocktail) - Just okay, nothing special. After trying one, we decided to switch to...French 75s - Much better! Refreshing and well-made, a definite improvement.Drinks alone were $88.00, which felt a bit steep.Dessert:Butter Cake - Good flavor but slightly dry. The cake itself was on the thicker side, but the overall taste was enjoyable. Nothing extraordinary, but a decent choice. We paired it with two espressos.Service & Ambiance:The ambiance was nice and welcoming, and while a Persian steakhouse was a new experience for us, it added an interesting touch. Our server, Edwin, was fantastic--he greeted us warmly, kept an eye on our drinks, and made sure each course arrived at the right time. Attentive service throughout the night!Final Thoughts & Cost:For two people, our total came to $312.12, including a $60 tip. While the food was good, the price point felt high--especially with $88 just on drinks. I'm on the fence about whether it was worth it.Rating: 4/5 - Solid spot with attentive service, worth a visit, but the price-to-value ratio is questionable.

Valentine's Day at Arya Steakhouse was an unforgettable experience! My date and I had a 7:30 PM reservation, and even though we were five minutes late, we were seated immediately--off to a great start. The atmosphere was perfect for the occasion, with romantic low lighting, Valentine's-themed trinkets on the table, and a lovely rose for the table, which I really appreciated. Every detail made the night feel special, and it was clear that Arya went above and beyond. The four-course meal was nothing short of amazing. We kicked things off with drinks--I had the strawberry thyme mocktail, which was refreshing and well-balanced, while my partner's drink, made with egg whites and served in a compote, was strong yet delicious. He even ordered a second one because it was that good. Our appetizers were a delightful mix of flavors. The sweet and spicy shrimp was perfectly chewy, and the beet hummus with pita bread was a unique and tasty pairing. There were two other small bites, but the shrimp and hummus stole the show. The second course was a simple yet perfectly executed salad with just the right amount of balsamic vinegar and feta cheese. Sometimes simplicity wins, and this salad was proof of that. For the entrées, I had the NY steak cooked medium rare with an upgraded lobster tail. The steak was juicy, and the lobster had a wonderful smoky flavor that both my partner and I loved. Our server, Jennifer, made the experience even better by melting butter over the steak tableside--chef's kiss. My partner opted for the seafood paella with an aged ribeye upgrade, and both were equally impressive. The ribeye was juicy perfection, and Jennifer made sure both our steaks got that buttery finishing touch. We also ordered truffle fries, but we barely touched them because we were so full. Still, they were well-seasoned and tempting.Dessert was a shared plate, thankfully, because we were stuffed. It featured baklava with ice cream, a beautifully toasted meringue, and a chocolate cake with a hardened chocolate layer--each bite was heavenly.A special shoutout to Jennifer, who was funny, attentive, and clear about everything (even letting us know that tip was already included). She really elevated our dining experience--thank you, Jennifer!Arya Steakhouse delivered an incredible Valentine's dinner, and I'll definitely be back for more. Everything about this place went above and beyond!

Just ok. Our server was super enthusiastic and we were just there to catch up. She noticed right away that we wanted space and minimal intrusions so she adapted. Kudos for her for awareness. We had the pistachio meatballs and thought flavorful, they were super dry, the bone in NY streak special was good topped with scallops and large whole shrimp with a side of potatoes and carrots was well flavored and perfectly cooked medium. The baklava cheesecake wrapped up the event. And the stag's leap cab was a great additional to our entire meal. Must try! For the price, location, and how well our server tooted the restaurants horn, it was just on for me. Very standard with no real wow vector. Given the plethora of restaurants nearby, it would be hard to say this mea was amazing. Given Nobu, Evvia, and Bird Dog a few blocks away. Give it a try, but it will definitely be at the bottom of my dinner rotation.

The dining experience was great here! Came here for a birthday dinner (not mine) but they definitely made everyone feel special. I had the dry aged ribeye steak and it was super juicy and just enough fat. I'd skip the mocktail next time, it was very sweet. The service was very friendly and professional, they even let me torch the butter for the steak.Street parking was easy and it looks like there's nearby parking garages. Ambience: Clean bathrooms and very classy dining area. Soft jazz playing in the background, it's very cozy in here!

Located in Downtown Palo Alto right by Alma St and University Ave, parking is plentiful and easy to find in the nearby parking garage. Noise level is average-loud. The interior is nicely decorated. There's a good amount of seating with arrangements covering a wide variety of sizes.Food is so delicious. The meat is so tender and juicy. I highly recommend ordering the dry age rib eye.Service was good. Our server did an awesome job guiding us through the ordering process and recommending delicious items.Overall, Arya Steakhouse is an awesome place. The dining experience was perfect and had no issues. Not to mention the food that was absolutely spectacular.
